My heart’s a stereo, it beats for you so listen close. Hear my thoughts in every note...”
“Are you serious right now?”
“Make me your radio and turn me up when you feel low…”
“This is actually happening…sometimes even you surprise me.”
“This melody was meant for you, so sing along to my stereo.” Blaine nearly bounced on the balls of his feet as he was half-turned, singing close into the ear of his girlfriend while they made their way down the hallway of the dorm building after returning from a dinner and a movie date. With their fingers laced and hands swinging to the Sophomore’s internal musical rhythm he couldn’t help but grin broadly. He noticed the woman roll her eyes and try very desperately to stop herself from smiling, but he could see it tugging insistently at the corner of her lips nonetheless.
“You are such a dork.”
“Mm, but I’m your dork," the Sophomore smiled amusingly and turned to walk straight once more as they continued down the corridor, “I could rap the next verse for you if you’d like”. As the Senior glanced over at him with a disbelieving expression he nearly doubled over in laughter.
“Do I really want to hear my Katy Perry loving boyfriend rap of all things? I think you should just stick to the Adam chorus, babe.”
Blaine chuckled and shook his head, thoroughly tempted to go for it anyways until he realized they had reached his girlfriend’s dorm room as they came to a stop in front of it. Letting his fingers slip away he leaned against the wall, not even a half a foot away as the Senior pulled a key from her jeans pocket and unlocked the door. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” he smiled softly, and leaned across the already small space to press his lips fondly to his girlfriend's with his eyes closed, lingering probably for just a little too long before he finally pulled back.
The musician hummed lightly and let his eyes flutter back open to look at Sami in front of him as she bit her bottom lip just barely. With a slightly quirked eyebrow at the woman's expression he was nearly on the verge of opening his mouth to ask what was on her mind when his lips became suddenly busied with a more amorous kiss. Wandering fingers made their way up his chest before gripping the collar of his polo to pull him closer, which he gladly obliged, despite the fact that he was well aware that they were in the middle of the hallway. Eventually the Senior's fingers let go of his collar, letting them run along his shoulder and down his arm until they reached his hand, intertwining their fingers together once again and disconnecting their lips to pull him inside her dorm room.
Blaine edge his way inside, closing the door behind him and barely had a second to process what was going on when familiar arms had winded around his neck and pulled him in for another heavy kiss. He had been inside his girlfriend's apartment more then once, usually to just hang out on the sofa and watch episode after episode of Bones - a show that he insisted was the woman's growing obsession. But they had only been together for a month or so, and on more then one occasion Sami had lost interest with whatever they were doing in her living room, instead turning her attention to Blaine in order to basically just mess around. Sure he was used to the constant kissing, the close proximity breach, the feeling of their weight on one another, the touching. But this...this kiss was different, and it was hard to explain other then just the simply deeper feeling and heaviness to it, the way his girlfriend had leaned her forehead against his and breathed warmly over his lips while their noses brushed together.
"Bedroom?"
The musician didn't even have reply to such an ambiguous and yet rather upfront question. He didn't think about the obvious implication, or the fact that he had really only been intimate with one other in this way - though the term intimate was relative since their was absolutely zero feelings behind it,or even the almost hopeful and yet needy expression across his girlfriend's face. Thinking about things before he did them had never been one of his stronger traits, which was exactly why he pressed his lips back to singer's, his hands moving to her waist to pull her close enough so their wasn't even a sliver of space between them. A moment later Sami had pulled away with a small smile, allowing her arms to unwind from around his neck in order to take up one of his hands and laced their fingers together once more before leading him across the space and into her bedroom, shutting the door behind the both of them.
