Author's Notes: Hey everyone we are back! Enjoy this chapter!

Blaine had just finished changing the oil on the Navigator when a tall awkward looking teenager walked into the shop. Blaine immediately recognized him from last night. He looked over to Blaine and gave a confused look before looking back over to where Burt was leaving his office.

"Kurt's car is all down Finn; you can go ahead and take it. You don't have to work today, we are all set."

"Okay, Burt - who is that?" Finn asked clearly pointing at Blaine. The curly haired man rolled his eyes, but started making his way over to the pair.

"It's Blaine." He said coldly, sticking his hand out for the taller man to shake.

"Blaine will be working here for awhile."

"Why? I didn't know we were hiring."

"That's none of your damn buis-."

"Finn, why don't you go put these papers in my office."  Finn gave Burt a look but took the papers and silently left for the office.

"Like I said before kid, gotta work on your people skills if you're gonna be working here. But for today you're free to go. But be back here at nine sharp, and I will have your work schedule all planned out."

Blaine huffed out a sigh, saying an annoyed ‘okay' before turning away from the older man. Burt shook his head a little before walking back into his office and finding a very intrigued looking Finn sitting behind his desk.

"Alright talk. Because I know you, Burt. You don't just hire random strangers off the street." The tall boy made eye contact with his stepfather and held his gaze. Burt backed off first.

"He was the one who stole my car."

Finn leapt up from the chair, outraged. "What?! And you hire him to work for you? In an auto-repair shop?! This has got to be like a candy store to him!" Burt shrugged. Maybe I am crazy.

"Look, Finn, I know you're not happy about this but the kid needs help." Finn looked incredulously at Burt.

"It's not your job to help him. You should turn him in. Hell, I'm going to turn him i-."

Burt snatched Finn's cellphone from his hand the minute the teenager had taken it from his pocket. "Now, look. The kids in trouble, he was trying to run away from home. He'd have done it too had he not flattened the tires by accident."

Finn's eyes grew again in rage. "He flattened the tires?! Burt come on!!" The elder calmed the boy down again.

"That's why he's working here Finn. He's going to pay it off using all his tips. I know you're not happy about this-."  Finn snorted and looked away, still fuming. "But I know what I'm doing kid. Trust me." The boy met his stepfather's eyes and softened under the stern gaze he was getting. Burt meant business. Finn shook off as much of his anger as he could before turning fully to Burt and agreeing to keep it between them.

"Can we at least tell Kurt and Carole?" Finn inquired, peering through the blinds in Burt's office at Blaine. Who had slumped against a tire of the navigator and was attempting to rest in the shade of the setting sun. Releasing the blinds Finn turned back to Burt to see the old man chewing on the idea of telling Kurt and Carole.

"It's best if we don't. Kurt will go crazy and Carole will try to take this poor kid on as a mission. We can't have that. Let's just leave this between you, him and me hm?" Finn nodded before speaking once more.

"I have to go; I have a date with Rachel tonight. But keep in mind that I'll be watching him constantly so he doesn't screw you over Burt." With that Finn turned awkwardly on his heel and walked out towards the navigator. Without saying a word he gestured with his head that Blaine should get up so he could take the car. Slowly as possible Blaine stood and backed away from the beautiful navigator, watching as Finn climbed in and peeled out of the parking lot.

Behind him, he heard a cellphone ring and Burt answer. "Hey, Kurt....Yeah, that's fine. Mercedes parents okay with it? Alright. Have fun I'll see you tomorrow morning then. Bye. Love you too." Burt hung up his phone before turning towards Blaine, who was still gazing after the navigator. "Kid. Looks like I don't have to pick my son up from his friends tonight. Need a ride home?" Blaine just shrugged. He got very nervous and scared at the fact that he had to go home. Burt clapped a hand on his shoulder and took him to his car. The tires had gotten repaired and he could drive it home, he sat Blaine in the backseat and took off driving in the direction Blaine pointed.

Blaine tentatively made his way to the front door after Burt dropped him off. To say he was nervous to go inside was a complete understatement. He hadn't been home since yesterday morning and he didn't tell either of his parents where he was going, and he ignored all the calls he had gotten. So now it was time to face the wrath that was his father under stress.

He opened the door and immediately heard his father yelling through the phone, probably at another doctor or hospital, and then heard the light voices coming from the TV in the living room. He took off his shoes by the door, dropped his jacket and padded toward the room.

He stood in the door way; taking in the scene in front of him. His mother was laying on the couch, blanket draped over her, a colorful scarf placed on her head. Even though it was the beginning of summer, she always tended to be freezing, and no matter the amount of heat, nothing ever helped.

He quietly walked into the room, and took a seat at the end of the couch, putting her feet on his lap. She looked over to him and gave a smile. Her eyes looked foggy, her smile didn't reach them either, and she looked paler than a few days ago.

"Hi sweetie. Where have you been?" She asked in a small voice, not having much energy for anything these days.

Blaine bit his lip, deciding it was much better to lie then tell his mother what happened. "I totally forgot that Jeff was having an end of the school year party, and then I lost my phone and couldn't really call, but I'm home and completely fine. I didn't mean to worry you mom."

"It's fine Blaine. I just wanted to make sure you weren't getting yourself into trouble."

"Mom I - I wasn't. But I did get a new job."

Blaine was happy to finally see the look of pure adoration on his mothers face. It had been a while since she had had a good day, and even though he didn't tell her exactly how he got the job, seeing that look made everything worth while.

"Blaine that is fan-."

"Blaine Michael Anderson where the hell have you been?" He heard his father boom from the door. He sighed and squeezed his eyes shut before looking up to the taller man standing a few feet in front of him.

"I was at Jeff's, dad." He said with a roll of his eyes.

"Blaine may I speak with you in the hallway please."

Blaine huffed but stood up, kissed his mothers forehead and walked past his father out into the hall.

"What can I help you with father?"

"Blaine Anderson what do you think you are doing?"

"Whatever do you mean?" Blaine asked sarcastically.

"You better start respecting me Blaine, I swear -."

"What dad? You gonna send me away to get ‘cured'."

His father's eyes bugged out. "If you keep talking to me like that maybe I will. But for now, get your act together, stop messing around with every guy that breathes air and get a god damn job."

"Well dad, I in fact have gotten a job."

"Oh and where would that be, some gay strip club?"

"Wow, dad that's funny. I'm laughing so hard. No, it's at an auto repair shop."

"Hmm, maybe getting your hands dirty will make you straight."

"I highly doubt that, I'm gay dad, so just lay the fuck off!"

"Watch your language with me young man! Your mother can hear!" His father said yelling a little louder.

"And you don't think she could have heard before! About you sending me off! How would she feel about that father!?"

"Your mother is dying Blaine! We have bigger things to worry about then your sexuality and you being a fucking screw up!"

"You know what - screw you dad! Screw you!" With that Blaine turned around and ran up the stairs, slamming his bedroom door behind him.

He flung himself onto his bed and pressed the heels of his hands to his eyes. This is why he wanted to get away; this is why he had stolen the car. He hated his life right now. His mother, the only person in his family he had truly loved and couldn't really see his life without was dying, his father was being a major asshole all of sudden because of many things. But the major reason that would always piss off his father was Blaine's sexuality. Ever sense his mother had gotten sick, and the stress of getting her medical treatment and paying for all the bills his father had become a hard ass. They fought all the time, about everything; it could be about an old stain on the carpet or a rotten apple in the kitchen or Blaine being gay, and he was getting absolutely sick and tired of it.

He would run, right then and there, he needed to leave, but now he couldn't. Stealing the car, and then taking it to get fixed at the owner of the car's shop showed just how much luck wasn't on his side. If he ran, Burt would more than likely call the police and he would be in jail for three to five years. And that couldn't go over well with his father.

Blaine groaned and rolled over, actually setting his alarm for the first time in six months. He then shut his eyes and tried to drift off to sleep, pissed off at his life, and not looking forward to having to go work tomorrow.

Blaine's dad could SUCK MY DICKK. -________-

I feel bad for Blaine but I think that Burt will help him through. I really liked Finn's reaction because it is not something I would expect from him. I can't wait to read what happens next.
