"Mummy, Mummy wake up!" Blaine exclaimed excitedly. Nancy rolled onto her side to be met with the sight of Blaine in his Harry Potter pyjamas and unruly curls pointing in all directions. She laughed at her son's excitement and rubbed her eyes looking at her alarm clock on the bedside table.

"Blaineeeeeee, its only 6 am"

"I know Mummy, that's why I'm awake and getting you up!" Blaine explained like it was the most obvious thing on Earth.

"Blaine Honey, Kurt isn't coming till 11am" Blaine's smile dropped at the realisation that there was still 5 hours until Kurt's arrival.

"Oh, that long?"

"Yes honey, now how about we get up; you go and play with your toys while I get dressed and have a shower and then we will have some breakfast because I highly doubt that you will sit here in bed with me for a few hours." Blaine giggled and ran off in the direction of his playroom.

Nancy eventually walked downstairs after having showered and getting dressed. She went to the playroom but there was no sight of Blaine. She walked towards the kitchen next and saw Blaine eagerly sitting at the bench top with a spoon in his hands and playing with his toy dragon, she laughed. Blaine looked up at her and smiled putting down the spoon and running to give his mum a hug.

"Mummy, what's for breakfast?" Blaine questioned.

"I don't know; what would you like?"

"Ummmmm, some toast?"

"Ok, what would you like on your toa-" Nancy was cut off by the telephone ringing. Nancy picked up the phone.

"Hello, this is Nancy Anderson."

"Hi Nancy, this is Elizabeth Hummel. Sorry if I woke you up"

"Oh Hi, no I was already awake, Blaine and I have been up for a couple of hours now, he is so excited for the play date later on."

"Really? Same as Kurt. He won't stop talking about how much fun he had with Blaine yesterday."

"That's the same as Blaine."

"Oh before I forget, do you mind if I drop Kurt off earlier? He's begging me to go earlier but I didn't want to come unless you knew."

"Oh sure, I don't mind at all"

"Ok well, we'll get ready and leave soon. We should be there in about 30 mins." Nancy and Elizabeth said their goodbyes and hung up the phone.

Nancy went back to making Blaine's toast with strawberry jam, his favourite.

"Who was that mummy?"

"That was Kurt's Mummy" Blaine's face lit up at his new friends name.

"Really?"

"Yes, and Kurt wants to come earlier. He will be here in 30 minutes." Blaine jumped up and down and then ran upstairs to get dressed.

In about 40 minutes Kurt arrived at Blaine's house and Blaine was impatiently waiting outside for him. When Kurt's car pulled up into the driveway Blaine jumped up and ran to the car.

"KURRRRRRRT!" Blaine screamed and nearly tackled the boy; who he had only known for a total of 24 hours.

"Hi Blaine! I remembered to bring my tea set" said Kurt carrying a little suitcase.

"Yay, now we can have a tea party. This day is going to be so much fun!" Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and led him into the house with Elizabeth following closely behind with a huge giddy smile on her face. Blaine liked holding Kurt's hand it made him feel happy and special because he and Kurt were friends.

The boys walked into the house and Blaine started to lead Kurt into the playroom, Elizabeth stopped them for a second. "Kurt! Go and say hello to Mrs Anderson first, don't be rude she invited you here so you must be polite, remember what I taught you?"

"Ok Mummy." Kurt turned to Blaine and was about to let go of his hand but once again Blaine held onto it and ran into the kitchen. Blaine had a pretty big house and Kurt thought that he would get lost in it if it weren't for Blaine holding his hand.

"Hello Mrs Anderson" Kurt said politely with a smile just like his mother taught him.

"Why, hello Kurt. It's so nice to see you again." Blaine and Kurt were both jumping from foot to foot impatiently waiting to run to the playroom.

"Thank you for inviting me here today" Kurt said proud of remembering what his mother had taught him.

"No problems, any-"

"Muuuuum, can we go play now?" Blaine whined cutting in. "sure thing sweetie, lunch will be at 12pm"

"Ok bye Mum." Kurt and Blaine ran off to the playroom which held all of Blaine's toys.

Kurt and Blaine had mutually decided that they would play witches and wizards, Like in Harry Potter. Blaine's mother had brought him two wands for his last birthday so he let Kurt borrow one for the day.

"Ok. Do you want to play witches and wizards?" Blaine suggested.

"Ummm, ok but how do you play? I have never played this before."

"Oh it's easy. You have to pick a Harry Potter char-char-person and pretend to be them and then beat" Blaine said, then whispering "Voldemort" They both covered their mouths in shock after Blaine said this.

"Blaine, you can't call him that. It's he who must not be named."

"Ok ok but do you get it?"

"Yeah, I think so." Kurt said shy fully

"Ok well I'm playing Harry because of my crazy hair" Blaine said proudly "who are you going to be?"

"I think" Kurt paused thinking about which character he will be. "I will be Ginny."

"But Kurt, Ginny is a girl!"

"So." Kurt said downheartedly thinking that Blaine might just end up being like the rest of the boys.

"Oh no it's ok I just thought you would be Ron so then we could be best friends."

"But I don't like Ron, I like Ginny"

"Oh Ok if you want to be Ginny then you can be Ginny, I don't really mind." Blaine smiled at Kurt reassuringly, Kurt smiled back.

After figuring out who would be who, Kurt and Blaine played happily for hours until Burt came to pick his son up before dinner.

Burt arrived at the Anderson residence after getting directions from his wife. He rang the door bell and Nancy answered the door.

"Oh Hello, Who are you?" Nancy questioned suspiciously.

"Hiya. I'm Burt Hummel, Kurt's Dad. Is this the right house?"

"Hi, yes it is. Come in, come in" Nancy invited him in and Burt made his way inside the big house and he heard Kurt giggling loudly from upstairs.

"Kurt, Blaine." Nancy called from downstairs. "Kurt your Dad is here to pick you up" Kurt and Blaine came running down the stairs giggling like crazy.

"Daddyyyyy" Kurt ran and jumped into his Dad's arms. Blaine laughed at Kurt and was happy to have a new friend but he was sad that he didn't have a Dad like Kurt.

"Hi Kiddo" Burt said.

Kurt left Blaine's house with a promise to see each other soon and Burt had invited Nancy and Blaine over for a Friday night family dinner.

Kurt and Burt arrived home and Elizabeth was in the kitchen cooking dinner.

"Hi Mummy, I'm home."

"Hi sweetie. Did you have a good day at Blaine's house?"

"Yes, it was fun we played witches and wizards and Blaine let me borrow one of his wands and we pretended to be a person from Harry Potter and Blaine was Harry and I was Ginny and we had sandwiches for lunch and we beat he who must not be named" Kurt took a huge breath after reciting his day with Blaine and Elizabeth just laughed at how cute and adorable her son really was.
