Don't be stupid, Blaine? Have you ever stopped writing a fanfic because you got annoyed by your own main character? I'm not talking about this one but that's happened to me before.
The coffee and pastries fell to the ground.
Blaine only had one thought now, Kurt Kurt Kurt. Find Kurt. Protect Kurt.
He attempted to run towards the library but the officer caught him first, “Sir, you can't go in there!”
“No! Let me go! He's in there! He needs me!” It was useless trying to fight her off, she may be short but she was strong.
“All right, Calm down!” She stood in front of him and held his shoulders, “Who is in there?”
“Kurt..he....he's my boyfriend.” His voice shook and his eyes burned with tears, “I have to help him!”
“Okay, sir, can you tell me your name?”
“Blaine. Blaine Anderson.”
“I'm Officer Martin, Julia Martin. Now, look at me, Blaine.” He did as she said, her eyes were brown, the opposite of Kurt's, and they were strong and sure, “We are going to do everything we can to get Kurt and everyone else in that library out. Safe and alive. But if you just go barging in there you risk getting either yourself, Kurt, or another innocent shot and killed. You don't want that, do you?
He shook his head.
“So you have to promise me that you'll stay here and not interfere, okay? Can you promise me that?”
“I promise.” Blaine mumbled against his will, how could he just sit here and not do anything while the love of his life was in danger?
“Good. Now-”
“Hey, Martin!” A voice called, “We need you over here, we're about to make contact!”
“I have to go now but stay here.” with a look that was a mix of sympathy and stern, she walked away.
As soon as she was gone, he took off running, heading for the back of the building.
No way in Hell was he just going to sit around and do nothing.
