This is it. This is Kurt's last year at McKinley and he wants to enjoy it the most. He didn't want to get in troubles, he didn't want to argue with anyone and he just wanted peace.
There was this new student, a cutie who Kurt still didn't know his name, but he was pretty sure that the football team would give him a gentle welcome.
And by gentle, he means throwing him a slushie that will make him hate himself for the rest of his life. Kurt knew how that feel, but luckily he stood up and no one messed with him anymore. He blackmailed each guy of the football team, he knew secrets that would kill their reputation if everyone else knew about it. So, he was free. He could walk and talk in the hallways like he's freaking invulnerable.

But that boy was harmless. He could see all his innocence in his eyes. Kurt could tell that he was pretty much lost and just wanted to fit in. Well, that's what everyone wants. But they have to fight for it. Quinn Fabray got kicked out of her own house when she was 16, everyone stopped talking to her and started to give her disgusted looks whenever they made eye contact. What she's done? She dyed her hair pink, joined the skanks and suddenly became a skank. A badass one. Rachel Berry is tacky, annoying and also one of the most controlling people I've ever had the pleasure to be friends with, in the beginning of her first year here, she was a nobody. What she's done? She joined every club possible and kind of conquered Finn's hearts. She's in the top of her classes and will probably get into NYADA.

The point is, it wasn't going to be easy for him either, he would have to fight for it. But Kurt didn't want him to suffer. And this made him extremely confused because why the hell he cared? It's not like he’s the first new student that joined that school.
But he did care. At first period, the mysterious guy walked by the hallway and left the smell of his perfume in the air, which aroused Kurt so much. He noticed the curls in his hairs, the way he puts his hands in his pockets as an act of insecurity. Kurt noticed more things about a guy that he'd never spoken to than about people he had known for years.
So, he made a plan. The boy would get slushied sooner or later, so he'd obviously go to the bathroom clean the mess that his face and clothes will become.
Kurt was just going to stay in the bathroom, waiting for him. And help him. That would be the perfect way to be friends with him.

"I can't believe this is happening" Blaine said as he opened the door reaching for the sink "It's only been one hour and--" Blaine stopped talking as soon as he realized there was a boy starring at him. Blaine tried to give him a shy smile, then he turned his face to the sink and looked down.
"Sooner or later you'll get used to it. But if I was you, I'd bring extra clothes to school, just in case, you know?" Kurt said giving him a smile back, and left the bathroom.

"Shit. Shit. Shit." That was all Kurt could think of.
That boy... is gorgeous. The most beautiful boy he's ever seen in his entire life, his shy smile is just adorable and... If he had stayed one more minute in that bathroom, he'd have taken all that slushie out of his face using his tongue. Yup, he was THAT attractive.

But he also had something different than everyone else. Every time Kurt looked at him, he saw something different, something beautiful, something extraordinary. It doesn't matter how long you look at him, you could never get bored of looking, or analyzing. That boy sure is special. And Kurt might have just developed a little crush on him.
But he didn't want to make him bad, he didn't want to stalk him and give people something to gossip about. Because he didn't even know if the boy was gay. He'd have to take it slow. That's why he asked for Quinn's help. Maybe she could be his friend, and talk to him and take him out of this loneliness that he must be feeling.
And that's exactly what she did. Of course Kurt had to do something in return, but, Quinn figured things about that boy and he finally felt closer to him, even if he was not.
His name is Blaine Anderson, he's come from New Jersey and he moved because of "personal issues". Quinn stole his schedule out of the principal's room and gave it to Kurt.
"Tuesday: English, P.E., History and Biology."
Kurt read Blaine's schedule, then he read his.
"Tuesday: French, English, History and P.E."
Nothing better than history to begin a story, huh?

Kurt had only one shot at doing this right. And he wanted to do it perfectly. He was going to be 10 minutes late for History class, on purpose, because he knew that no one would sit next to Blaine. And he was right. When he got in the class, there was him. Alone with that oh-god-save-me-why-am-i-here look in his face.
Kurt sat next to him. The teacher wasn't feeling so well so he only gave some page for the class to read, then Kurt obviously took advantage of it.

"Hi, my name is Kurt." Kurt said as he streched out his hand.
Blaine looked both confused and happy, but he smiled anyway.
"I'm Blaine, nice to meet you, Kurt" He answered as they shacked their hands.
"Having tough days as the 'New kid?'" Kurt asked him trying not to laugh too loud.
"Kind of... Things are getting... b-better now." Blaine answered while he interlaced his fingers, Kurt could clearly see that he was nervous.
"Relax."
"What?"
"Relax. It's just me. And I just want to be your friend, I'm not gonna hurt you. You're actually a... nice person, Blaine. I'd love to be your friend." Kurt smiled "But that's not going to work out if you keep stuttering like a little baby."
"I... Really? I mean... That's really nice of you, Kurt. And..."
"And what?"
"Thanks for your advice. That day in the bathroom."
"Oh, you remember that?"
"How could I ever forget about it?"

And that’s how their friendship began. They started to text each other, drink coffee together, talk every day, study together. Blaine always told Kurt that he could get any girl that he wanted.
It wasn’t a lie, though. Kurt really could get any girl. He had experiences with girls before. He had kissed girls, but… He never felt the spark. It just never felt good, every time he kissed a girl, no matter how great the girl were, it was just empty, it didn’t feel right. That was not what Kurt wanted. He’s always wanted something more… masculine. He’s always found boys more attractive than girls, but he never really had a boyfriend, and has never been kissed by a boy.

He had always wondered how It would be like to kiss Blaine, even though he was pretty sure he was straight. Blaine says he doesn’t work out, but Kurt never believe on that. His muscles are very strong and sexy and Blaine’s arms are Kurt’s weakness, that’s for sure. Anyway, it was time to let Blaine know about his sexuality.
They were friends, right? And Kurt knew that Blaine would be totally ok with it, because Quinn is lesbian and they’re friends, so he assumes he’s not homophobic or something like that. He is his friend, he’ll understand and be very… supportive and understanding.
But he couldn’t do this at school.

“Blaine?” Kurt leaned on his locker and put his hands on Blaine’s shoulder, “can I talk to you for a second?”
“Of course you can, Kurt? What’s up?” Blaine answered with a big, big smile on his face.
“I want you to come to my house tomorrow! It would be fun, we could talk about stuff and you could get to know my dad, and Carole…”
“It would be a pleasure.”
“Really? Oh, okay then, I’ll text you my address and you can be there at 5PM.”
“Okay.”

Blaine always knew what to say, it’s incredible, it fascinates Kurt how wonderful Blaine is. He’s just so positive and nice, and Kurt felt sad because he was being unfair with Blaine. He deserved to know it.

03/21/05

"Kurt invited me over to his house. I... I'm freaking out. I saw fireworks when he said that. Going to his house means meeting his dad, seeing his bedroom and consequently getting to know more about him. I think I'm finally going to tell Kurt that I'm gay. Nothing wrong is going to happen, right? Quinn is lesbian, Kurt knows about it and he's still her friend. So he won't stop being friends with me just because I'm gay, right? I feel so safe when I'm around him and I feel like a liar. I don't like to hide things from him, especially when it's about me. He deserves to know it. Tomorrow. 5pm. At his house."

5:03PM. The bell rang and Kurt was absolutely sure it was Blaine.
Kurt was wearing a red cardigan with a white shirt underneath it, a pair of tights and of course he wouldn’t miss the chance to wear his Carolina Herrera perfume. He wants to impress Blaine, he wants to see the look in his eyes as soon as they meet and he just wants to know if the feeling is mutual. Because every time he sees Blaine, his jaw literally drops.
He opened the door, and Blaine was there, as dreamy as ever, wearing just a black shirt and jeans. And he managed to make that simple look the hottest look Kurt has ever seen.

“Are you going to invite me to come in or are we going to stay here speechless for the rest of the day?” Blaine said looking into Kurt’s eyes, giving him a dork smile. He always does that, Kurt thought. He always makes me speechless.
“Sure, come in, sassy Blaine!” Kurt guided him to the living room, “See, I would love to show you my entire house, but can we go talk in my bedroom? I really need to finish this.”
“Oh God, are you going to break up with me?” Blaine said and he and Kurt started to laugh hysterically. Kurt held his hand and they went to Kurt’s bedroom.
Kurt closed the door, and they both said at the same time:
“I’ve got a secret to tell you”
They stared at each other and started to laugh again. They always did that, it was like they were connected or something and always thought about the same stuff at the same time.
"You tell first!" Kurt said without hesitation.
"What if... we tell together?" Blaine answered with a voice that Kurt had never listened before, it was soft and sexy at the same time, and it definitely turned Kurt on.
"Oh... Okay, Mr. Anderson. On the count of 3?"
"3..." Blaine started to count, getting closer to Kurt.
"2..." Kurt continued and started to get closer to Blaine as well.
"I'm gay!" They both said, at the same time. Blaine smiled and Kurt smiled at Blaine smiling and that was the best moment of their lives. They kept a secret from each other when in fact, they really felt the same.
“I also have to say that I’ve always found you… well…” Blaine tried to compliment Kurt but when he said that Kurt was already hugging him, pushing him to the wall.
“Can I kiss you, Blaine?” Kurt brushed Blaine’s cheeks.
They both stared at each other. They both were breathing fast and their eyes said everything, they wanted each other more than anything in this word.
Kurt leaned over and kissed Blaine. Their lips touched and Kurt captured Blaine’s bottom lips with his lips, slipping his tongue to Blaine’s mouth, and he could feel Blaine’s warm tongue touching his, he twirled his tongue and Blaine moaned. Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt and put more pressure into the kiss, they were breathing fast and Blaine could feel his heart singing with joy. Their bodies were so close to each other, they could feel everything. Everything.
Blaine was half hard and Kurt could feel it. He broke the kiss, and gave Blaine a lovingly gaze. “You’re amazing” Kurt whispered as he kissed his cheek, “Truly amazing. But we should slow down a little bit, don’t you think?”
“Of course, anything you want.” Blaine agreed, he couldn’t take his eyes off Kurt’s eyes.
They both lied down in the bed and cuddled. They never felt happier in their entire lives.
“You know, Kurt?” Blaine said as he kissed Kurt’s forehead. “I always knew it was you. Since that day you helped me in the bathroom.”
“Me too, Blaine.” Kurt held him tighter, “It’s always been you.”

And since that day, nobody could ever break them apart. They were inseparable and they truly loved each other. They started dating soon, Blaine was the one who asked Kurt to be his boyfriend, and of course, he accepted. They had an established and wonderful relationship, those two could spend centuries together and never bore each other.
But the end of the year was near, and they would have to make some decisions that could change everything.
