Thanks for sticking around.
The song I pictured Blaine listening to as he bruted about Kurt and Elliot as he worked out is "Goodbye" by Who is Fancy. Take a listen.
Stay tuned for more!
Wap! Wap! Wap!
"Alright, slow down Rocky, Ive been sitting here for 20 minutes as you beat the shit out of that bag, you think you ready to talk," Santana says as she sits on the floor of the gym leaning against an exercise ball eating a Snickers.
"Arent brides supposed to want to watch their figures before a wedding?" Blaine says as he wipes his face with a towel.
"Eh, why mess with whats been working" she says as she takes a bite of her candy bar. "So tell me about the latest Klaine drama."
"You know, its not that I dont want Kurt to be happy, just did he have to be with Elliot? I mean it was so obvious they had a thing for each other. I bet they could not wait till I was out of the picture."
"Liar" Santana says plainly.
"Liar? What are you talking about?"
"You dont want Kurt to be happy, well at least not with anyone else."
"Thats not true" Blaine says defensively.
"You both are hopeless. You have a big fight, both of you dont contact each other for months, though you are miserable without each other. You both get boyfriends and as gorgeous as they may be, you both are still as wretched as ever. Who do you think you are fooling?"
"We both moved on Santana, its over."
Moved on? If I am correct you had sex with Kurt... Santana licks her finger and puts it up in the air like she was testing the air. "You had sex about two weeks ago."
"How the hell do you know that?" Blaine says in amazement.
"Oh my little Hobbit, I can tell when my Frodo has got it in the ring."
"Ok, weirdo, you need to get a hobby. Anyway, what difference does it make?"
"Well, you were with Lancelot for like months and never let him tap that ass and Lady Hummel comes prancing back into town and you couldnt wait to give it up."
Santanas tone becomes more gentle "Lets face it B, you love Kurt. Once you two reconnected again you were able to be yourself and been truly happy just being near each other. I would have whooped Hummels ass a long time ago, if I truly thought he did not deserve you, but he is good for you, just as you are good for him. Why are you making yourself crazy?"
"Its not that easy Santana, too much has happened. We just cant be together."
"Who says" Santana says as Blaine rolls his eyes and grabs his water. "No really who says you cant be together. Yes, a lot was said and it wont be easy, but you just have to let some of that go and be with each other. Do you believe Kurt is sorry?
Blaine, had a hard time looking at Santana, it was like she could see right through him. "I believe hes sorry" he says with a "but" at the tip of his tongue.
"And do you think you both learned a thing or two so you can try to prevent things from getting bad like this again?" she said like she like she was talking to a five year old she was trying to get understand.
"I know I have and he seems to have too, but how do we even go back?"
"Thats the thing Blainey, you dont go back you move forward. Its about letting go of the past and moving forward because you want to be with each other and you are choosing to be happy."
"Listen the way I see it is that you either shit or get off the pot" she said crassly.
"What?" He said with a disgusted face.
"Its time to stop moping around. You either let Fruity Pebbles go and allow him to lead his life with Count Chockula and stop crying about it or you get up off your ass and you fight for your man."
"Just think about it. What can I say, Im going ahead with my happily ever after and I want my best gay to have that too" she says wearily.
"You know Tana, you been really sentimental lately? He said as he put a hand over his heart with a sarcastic loving face.
"Ok, thats enough, Im outta here, try not to screw things up any more than they already are?" she gives him a kiss on the cheek and leaves.
Santanas words rings in his ears as he tries to drown his thoughts out as he gets on a treadmill. She makes it sound so easy. He was so confused and on top of everything there was Elliot, freaking prince charming, there to makes things more complicated. He wondered if he was already too late.

Kurt busies himself in his parents kitchen cooking dinner for him and his Dad. Carol is visiting her sister this weekend and Elliot is giving him time to talk to his Dad. Kurt always found cooking therapeutic and he could use some peace as he readied himself to face his father.
"Hey Buddy, you need any help?" his Dad says from the living room.
"Nothing you can help with from in front the TV Dad," Kurt says knowing his Dad was watching some game.
"Huh, Bud, what was that? His Dad says with his eyes glued to the tv screen.
"Im good Dad, thanks. Come sit down, its all ready."
Burt takes a seat and watches as Kurt brings out the platters of food. There was steak, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, roasted corn and a chocolate frosted cake for dessert. Not a green in sight.
"Ok, Kurt, what is going on, who did you murder?"
"Dad, what are you talking about? he says innocently.
"This spread, something must be up? Burt says to his son accusingly.
"I just thought with Carol gone and you putting up with my strict diet on you for weeks you deserved a treat."
"Carols coming back isnt she? Shes not leaving me or something?"
"No Dad, I think youre good."
"Ok, spill it. I dont want anything ruining my digestion, looks like Ill need it" he says eyeing the food with a smile.
"Well, my boyfriend will be coming by this week" he say as lightly has he could.
"Your boyfriend, I did not know you and Blaine finally worked everything out." Burt says as he starts to glare at his son.
"Uh, its not Blaine. Its Elliot. He came down early for the wedding. We are together now. Im moving forward Dad. It just cant work out with Blaine and its time I get on with my life" Kurt says trying his best to sound confident and mature.
"Really, so two weeks ago you were texting and calling Blaine every time I set eyes on you and this week you are bringing home your new boyfriend."
"Yes, it just did not work out and you knew I was dating Elliot" he says now a little petulantly.
"Oh, ok. Just trying to keep up son. Can you pass the potatoes?" Burt says in a chipper tone.
"Thats it, thats all you have to say?"
"You are a grown man Kurt. You dont need me to tell you that you are making the biggest mistake of your life. Youll get there eventually. Can you pass the corn, please?"
"No, I wont pass the corn. You have no idea how hard its been. Im doing the only thing I can do. Blaine has moved on and he cant forgive me. What am I supposed to do? he says aspirated.
"Listen kid, Im sorry that I am coming off judgmental, but I know when my kid is trying to justify giving up. You are not a quitter Kurt. I know its not easy and I dont have all the answers, but I think you are having a hard time because you know this is wrong for you."
"He just gave up Dad. I tried and he gave up. What am I supposed to do?!" Kurt particularly yells.
"Do you love him Kurt?"
"Yes, you know I do."
"Does he love you son."
"Yes, I think so....no, I know so."
"Then you dont give up on the person you love."
Kurt was annoyed on how simple his Dad made it all sound.
Kurt gets up and takes the chocolate cake. "You dont need to be eating this." He leaves for the kitchen. Burt digs into his steak quickly before Kurt has a chance to grab anything else. "Hell figure it out," he thinks to himself as he takes a much deserved bite.
