Blaine was pre occupied that whole morning.All he could think about was his date tonight. It was what he was thinking about when he felt his son tug on his pant leg.

"Papa!"

"Yeah buddy?" He asked snapping out of his daze.

"I wanna go home!" Blaine nodded and started walking towards his apartment.He grabbed his sons hand and smiled brightly at him.

"Youre going to be with Ms.Sandy tonight, because I have a date tonight."

"Is it with Kurt?" Gage asked looking up at Blaine with a small smile.

"Yes it is." Gage nodded and then started talking about his day at school.Blaine loved the enthusiasm his son had for even the things he was learning.

When they arrived at the apartment Gage ran up to his room and Blaine started to pick out his clothes for the night ahead.He sifted through all of his clothes and found a pair of dark jeans a white shirt and a red cardigan.

After getting approval from his son Blaine dropped him off with his neighbor and made his way to the music store.He saw a tall figure leaning against the door.

"Kurt?" Blaine called out. The figure just walked away from the store and turned the corner."Not Kurt." Blaine muttered and turned to unlock the store.

Blaine was scrolling through his phone when Kurt rushed in.

"I am so sorry that Im late Rachel had to work so I had to wait for my friend Unique to come get Melody...Im sorry."

"Dont worry about it! Fun knows no time limits." Kurt laughed as Blaine lead Kurt out of the store.

When Blaine wasnt looking the figure came from behind the store and started to walk slowly behind the pair.

Kurt was surprised when Blaine lead him into a large karaoke bar.

"I havent been to one of these since I had Melody."

"I try to come down once in awhile."

"It is best not to waste that beautiful voice of yours."

"Thank you." They approached the bar and ordered drinks.

"Im glad we did this, I rarely do anything other than work and take care of Gage."

"Yeah,if Im not at school or working Im with Melody."

"School?"

"Yeah, Im working on completing my degree in Fashion design. I stopped when I had Melody but I figured that it would be good for me to pick it back up."

"Thats great,youll have to show me some of your designs."

"Will do." Kurt smiled and looked into Blaines eyes.He loved how they shined in the dimly lit bar.Kurt turned his head to see the tall man walk into the bar.

"Blaine,is that Sebastian?" Kurt asked timidly staring at the approaching man.A look of anger and hurt flashed on Blaines face.

"Kurt Ill be right back." Blaine got up from the table and walked calmly to the stage.Kurt looked questioningly at his as the music started.

Blaine clutched the microphone and looked deep into Sebastians eyes as he sang.

Blaine pointed at Sebastian causing the entire bar to stare at him

"I am covered in scars

Sebastian ran out of the bar when Blaine finished his song and Blaine followed him. "You leave me and my son alone! Go crawl back under your hole Sebastian!" Sebastian ran from the bar and when Blaine re-entered the bar Kurt was on his way out.

"Where are you going?" Blaine asked placing a hand on Kurts arm.

"Blaine, I am taking a risk dating you and you just caused a huge scene in the bar over your ex who you clearly still have issues with."

"He was cheating on me." Blaine spoke barely above a whisper.His caramel yes filled with pain and sorrow. "He was engaged to some guy while Gage sat at home wondering where he was or why he was always drunk...Ive been with him since I was 17...10 years and he was my first everything,Kurt. I know you have Melody and that this was a fucking shitty way to start the night but I really want you in my life."

Kurt gave him an unsure glance and relaxed into his touch. "How about we go back to one of our apartments and eat ice cream and watch tv until we fall asleep."

Blaine kissed him deeply and smiled against Kurts lips. "Sounds like a plan."

Blaine wasnt sure how they ended up making out on the couch in the middle of an episode of Parks and Recreation, but he knew that Tom Haverford was not the best background music, but somehow it was working.Kurt moaned into his mouth and unbuttoned his shirt. He had removed Kurts vest when there was a knock at the door.

"Whenever we get to this point its like the world is out to stop us." Kurt ranted falling back onto the couch. Blaine stood up and walked to the door and when he opened it he was faced with a large man wearing a green flannel and dirty brown jeans. He felt Kurt lace his arms around his waist but was unsure when he heard a loud gasp coming from his boyfriend.

"Karofsky?"
