Blaine sighed. He knew the question was going to come once they were alone, but he was really hoping that it wouldn’t.

“Yeah. Yeah, I do.” Kurt hesitated to ask the next question.

“…where?”

“Well, the one you can see best…,” he began, as he pulled up his shirt to just below his chest. His VERY well defined chest, Kurt added mentally. But when he saw what Blaine was showing him, he couldn’t stop the loud gasp that escaped him. There on Blaine’s ribs was a large scar, ranging from his mid side to the middle of his torso.

“Oh my God, Blaine, what happened?!” Blaine pulled his shirt back down.

“He had been drinking a lot one night with his friends, I was maybe five, I came out into the living room to get some toy I wanted to play with. He didn’t appreciate me interrupting his gathering and threw a beer bottle at me. Of course he missed, because he was very very drunk, but he hit the wall. The glass shattered and a big shard of it flew back towards me and cut me.” He looked over at Kurt, who stared at him, shocked. The look on his face made Blaine smile a little. “Actually, y’know, I was six. Because that was the night my mom packed, grabbed me, and left. My dad had passed out on the living room floor, so we went out the back door. God, it was, like, two o’clock in the morning.”

“My God, Blaine…and its not like you can’t take a hint, you just ignored them because-”

“Because I wasn’t gonna let David leave any scars on you like my dad did to me and my mom.” Kurt waited for Blaine to meet his eyes before he grabbed his face and kissed him. Though surprised at first, Blaine caught on quickly, wrapping his arms around Kurt’s…I mean, my boyfriend’s, waist. Kurt pulled back and looked into Blaine’s eyes.

“Thank you. And…God, and I was so horrible to you…” This time, Blaine was the one doing the surprising. He kissed Kurt before he could go any further. He smiled at him as he pulled away.

“It doesn’t matter now. You didn’t want to admit that what David was doing wasn’t right, and I get that. And I don’t want to hear about your…hesitation to listen to me again. Ok?” Kurt smiled at him and nodded as he leaned in to kiss Blaine again. And again. And again. The two of them didn’t even notice when Drita walked back into the living room.

“Ok, boys, so what’s the pla-…” She stopped when she saw the two of them jump apart and turn red, her son’s face especially. She chuckled. “Well, apparently you have plans and they do not include me, so I’ll just go to bed.”

“Mom, you don’t have to-”

“Hey, that’s what I love about my son being gay. I don’t have to worry about either of you getting knocked up. Good night and have fun.” Kurt looked over at Blaine, smiling.

“She really doesn’t think we’re gonna-…”

“Yeah…yeah she does.” They stare at each other for a minute before their laughter exploded out of them. “She thinks that because I’m gay I don’t have to wait to have sex because I don’t have to worry about getting pregnant or getting someone else pregnant.”

“I mean, she does have a point, but still.”

“Yeah, I mean, with my luck I’d get five thousand different STDs.” Kurt laughed so hard he thought he was going to fall off the couch. Which really wouldn’t help my aching body, he thought. But he just couldn’t help himself.

“Well, your safe with me. I promise.” Blaine gave him a weird look. Kurt sighed, smiling. “My dad made me get tested once he found out that I had sex with David, ok? He never trusted him.” Blaine smiled back at him.

“You are giving me less and less reasons to hold back, y’know that?”

“Well what reasons do you have left?”

“What, so you can debunk those too?” Kurt blushed. Blaine moved closer to Kurt on the couch, chuckling over how red Kurt’s face was. He put his arm around Kurt’s shoulders, and put his other hand on Kurt’s knee. “Look. The kiss at school today was just…I mean, you were upset. And the one just now was…well, you felt bad for me. And I want out official ‘first’ to be more special than that.”

“Blaine. Our first was in that locker room today, no matter what kind of twist you want to put on it. And…knowing that all of this happened in a matter of six hours is amazing. Our first kiss was our first kiss.” Blaine stared at him in shock.

“A-…are you sure?” Kurt leaned in and kissed Blaine on the cheek, making his boyfriend’s face instantly turn red. Kurt smiled.

“I am absolutely sure.” Blaine smiled timidly. “Oh, um…by the way…” The smile on Blaine’s face faded quickly, as he saw bad news coming his way. His expression turned wary.

“What?”

“That math grade you’ve been helping me with…is now a C.” Blaine sighed. “Minus.”
