Blaine had everything packed for Hogwarts two weeks early, he knew he had a while to wait but he kept asking if there was any chance that he could go early. He was not upset about having to leave home for a while, he was more excited than anything. He couldn't wait to see Kurt again, he would find him and become his best friend. He really wanted to play with his wand and learn magic, he had started reading his books and trying to practice. The amount of glass that he had shattered was a lot and his parents weren't happy at all. Blaine was though. He was very happy and he wanted to show Kurt and impress him with everything that he could do.
Blaine couldn't sleep the night before he went to Hogwarts, he was just so excited. He looked at his packed bags and grinned, thinking about everything that was in there. His mother made him pack photos and extra socks, very mother like. When the morning came, he got out of bed and got dressed before taking his bag straight to the car. He waited by the door for ages until his dad came out and told him that it wasn't time to go yet. Blaine pouted and came inside, he wanted to go now!
"Blaine, are you really that excited to be leaving your mother and i for a while?" Blaine's father asked, looking over the top of the newspaper.
"Hogwarts is amazing and i get to see Kurt again. I get to learn magic for real, its going to be so cool!" Blaine grinned at his parents. "I will miss you though but i'll write to you all the time and i'll be back at Christmas."
"You're my baby, i'll miss you every single day." His mother said.
Blaine, his father and mother finally got into the car and drove to the train station. As soon as the car stopped, Blaine started dragging his bags towards the station, but his father took it from him and carried it. Blaine looked around for the platform but he couldn't find it. What if the train had already gone? He wouldn't be able to go to Hogwarts. That really upset him.
"Honey? What is it? Do you not want to go now?" Mrs. Anderson asked, watching as her son shook his head.
"Where's the train?" Blaine asked.
"Its not here, its in a secret place so the muggles can't get on it."
"Where is it?"
Mrs. Anderson followed her husband to the place, the wall between platforms 9 and 10. She told Blaine to watch as his father ran at the wall. Blaine was about to shout at him, tell him to stop but he gasped when he saw his father go through the wall.
"Wow!" Blaine grinned before running at it himself. He got through it and looked back at the wall. He was like a ghost, he could walk through walls! Once his mother came through, she told him that he couldn't do that with all walls so he shouldn't even try it.
"Now Blaine, there is everything you need in those bags and our address is with the letter set your father brought you. I want a letter every single week without fail, okay? If you want to come home, tell a teacher and we'll come and get you." Mrs. Anderson kissed her sons cheek.
"Muuuuummmm!" Blaine squirmed and rubbed his cheek. "There are people around."
"I'm sorry sweetie, i'm just going to miss you so much."
The clock said 11 o'clock so it was time to go. Blaine got hugged by both of his parents, they said their goodbyes before he got into the train.
Blaine was on the train and trying to look for an empty compartment. He found one and was about to enter it when a kid came crashing into him, he caught the kid before he fell to the ground. He held the kid regain his balance before noticing who it was.
"Kurt?" Blaine smiled. "It's you!"
He noticed Kurt smile back and hugged him. "Hi! Thank you for catching me."
"You're welcome. Are you okay?" Blaine asked.
"Yeah, it's just kids. I'm used to it." Kurt said as he entered the empty compartment.
"You're used to mean kids?" Blaine asked with a sad face.
"Yeah. i'm just different from most of them." Kurt shrugged. "I've always been told that i'm special."
"You are special." Blaine smiled. "You're awesome."
Kurt grinned at Blaine and sat down. "I think my dad is happy that i've gone away."
Blaine tilted his head to the side, unsure of why anyone would want Kurt gone. "Why on earth would he be happy?"
"Because i make him sad. My magic has got me in lots of trouble at muggle schools and the kids bullied me. I think he's happy that i'm gone and that he doesn't have to sort me out anymore."
Blaine took Kurt's hand and squeezed it, he didn't know why he did that. He just did it. It felt right. It was impossible for Blaine to see why people didn't like Kurt. He was funny, smart and pretty. Like really pretty. "There is no way that he is happy that you're gone. Your magic means you are special and that you're going to be so talented. And the kids, they don't understand and they're probably jealous of your awesomeness."
"Are we friends?" Kurt asked.
"Of course! We are going to be the bestest of friends." Blaine grinned.
"I really want you to be my bestest friend." Kurt grinned back. Blaine thought that Kurt had a very lovely smile. He really wanted to see it more, he wanted to make sure that no kids hurt him just so he could keep seeing that smile. He started telling Kurt everything he knew about Hogwarts and about the classes, what he was looking forward to and what spells he was interested in learning.
"Hogwarts sounds really cool!" Kurt grinned. "I am so excited about it! I hope we're in the same house, that would be the best! But we're still going to be friends even if we're not in the same house, right?"
"We're going to be the bestest of friends no matter what."
