Oliver was in his room looking out the window at Daniel sat in the gardens, he had no sympathy for the guy, he let Blaine go, he didn’t show Kurt that Blaine was his and not to come between them. But Blaine didn’t want Oliver, he wanted Blaine, he deeply cared about him and it broke his heart that those feelings would not be reciprocated.

Daniel picked up some stones and began throwing them, not trying to damage anything, just out of boredom and because he was thinking. He really wanted Blaine back; there must be some way of getting him back. He thought with Kurt no longer at Dalton and them not hanging out or really talking then he would stand a chance but no.

In Oliver’s hand was a photo of their group, David, Wes, him, Daniel, Blaine and Kurt. His finger ran over Blaine’s face but neither Blaine or Kurt were looking at the camera, they were looking at each other. He really hated the look on their faces, they were happy together. Together. They were miserable apart, he despised the fact that Blaine was sad and needed Kurt to be happy. One day, he would make Blaine happy.

Daniel had the same picture in his hand and noticing the same thing, Kurt and Blaine were looking at each other and smiling and they looked in love. But Daniel didn’t understand, this picture was taken months ago. A tear ran down his cheek as he thought about Kurt and Blaine together, Kurt with his Blaine. His beloved Blaine, the guy he loved and had wanted for so long. The guy who was his first boyfriend. The guy who was his first kiss. The first guy he fell in love with.

Oliver began making his way down to the gardens to talk to Daniel about their little Hummel situation, Kurt was gone and still he had Blaine even if they weren’t together. Kurt was not going to win this, he just wasn’t. He was going to, he was the victor, he would make sure of it.

Daniel was on his feet and on his way to Oliver’s room, he too wanted to talk about the little situation, knowing that if someone could help him, it was Oliver. Oliver, the one who destroyed Kurt’s happiness when he was here and broke him down completely and also partially pushed him into Blaine’s arms.

Oliver was halfway down and Daniel was almost where Oliver was, both wanting each others help to get rid of their little problem. Yes, they knew that Blaine would be sad for a little bit but eventually he would get over Kurt. Kurt was nothing special.

Oliver and Daniel saw each other, Oliver gripped the picture in his hand, unknowingly screwing up the Kurt and Blaine part of it.

Daniel and Oliver were almost face to face in an empty corridor, looking at each other with the same look, knowing what the other wanted without saying it verbally.
