It wasn't long before the boys had to go home, they weren't too thrilled about it but they knew that they had to. Very soon they would be back in New York and every day would be similar to this. Perfect. They were going to move there really soon and hopefully they would both get into NYADA and not have to worry about cars smashing into them. Once they arrived back in Ohio, Burt met them from the airport and drove them home.
"How was your vacation?" He asked.
"It was absolutely amazing!" Kurt grinned.
"I don't think i wish to know what you boys got up to..."
"Dad!" Kurt gasped. "We were out exploring most of the time, we went to parks, theatres and we looked at wedding rings."
"Find anything you liked?" Burt asked.
"Not really, there wasn't a huge selection. Well they didn't have any couple ones, they just had doubles of the same." Blaine said.
"We still have a bit of time to look. We haven't decided when to marry yet. We're thinking about a summer, maybe next summer."
"Next summer? Really?" Burt said.
"Yeah. I'm going to ask my mum to help us pay, i mean she has money. I'm waiting for her to give me my money anyway." Blaine said.
Later that day, Blaine left Kurt at home unpacking, to go and visit his mother. They hadn't really seen each other in a while and he missed her. The news of what Blaine's father did, really effected her and she wasn't herself anymore. When he got to his old home, he knocked on the door (since his mother had changed the locks because of his father) and waited for an answer. He felt weird knocking on his old front door but at least he had a home to go to where he could let himself in. He heard his mum unlock the door and poked her head round, breathing a sigh of relief before opening the door all the way.
"Hey munchkin!" She smiled and hugged him. "Come in!"
Blaine followed his mother in and they sat in the living room.
"How have you been?" Blaine asked.
"I've been okay, the divorce is final but i'm a bit lonely." She said sadly. "And chance you could move back in with me for a little while? Just until you leave for New York?"
Blaine sat for a minute, he could spend some time with his mother for a little while but he'd miss Kurt.
"I'll need to discuss it with Kurt and i'll call you later about it." Blaine said. "I'm here actually because i was wondering about my money, so i can pay for my wedding."
"It was frozen during the divorce but you should be getting it soon." Mrs. Anderson said. "I would really love it if you come and stay though."
A little while later Blaine returned home and let himself in, before going upstairs to his and Kurt's room. He knew he had to go back and stay with his mother for a while, she was lonely and she needed him. Kurt would be okay, he had Burt and Carole. It wasn't going to be forever anyway, just a few weeks. He got out a suitcase from under his bed and started packing his stuff. He was halfway done when Kurt walked in.
"What's going on?" Kurt asked. "Are you leaving me?!"
Blaine jumped in shock and turned round, he hadn't thought this far through or that Kurt would walk in on him while he was packing.
"No! I'm not leaving you."
"Then why are you packing? Are you moving out?"
"No... Yes... Not really.... Kind of..."
"So are you?"
"Mum asked me to come and stay with her for a while, she's lonely Kurt and she needs me."
"What about me? I need you."
"Kurt don't be selfish, she needs me more right now. We're not breaking up, we're still getting married. I'm just staying with her for a while."
"How long is a while?"
"Until we go to New York..."
"What?! But that's... I don't want you to go."
"I'm going either way."
"Fine, do whatever you want."
"Come on Kurt, quit being so selfish."
Kurt sighed and left the room, he had an appointment with his therapist anyway so he just went straight there and vented to her about it all.
"So he's left you?" She asked.
"He says he hasn't but he's packed a bag and is moving back in with his mum."
"Did he say he's leaving you?"
Kurt shook his head. "He said he isn't but why would he move back in with her?"
"Maybe he misses her and maybe she really does need him."
"But i need him."
"Have your nightmares stopped completely?"
"No but i just get on with it. I know they won't go."
"Does Blaine know?"
"No. I didn't want to worry him."
"Well you do need him, you need his support during this."
"But he's not living with me anymore. He said i'm selfish because i didn't want him to go back to his mother, when i said i needed him with me. I'm still effected from the things in my past, i flinch when people walk past me on the street, i am terrified of fire, i have to lock my windows every night just in case someone might get through, even on the hottest of nights. Some days, i still feel really dirty and i have to take an extra shower. He just makes me better and i need him by my side. But his mother needs him so if he wants me, he can call me. Is this what its going to be like when we get married? When his mother calls, he goes running no matter if i need him or not?" Kurt wiped his tears away with the back of his hand.
"He loves you right?" She asked him and watched Kurt nod. "Do what you think is right."
"I really want to tell him about everything but i don't want to hurt him. I'd rather he think i was selfish and horrible than hurt him."
