Author's Notes: So its been almost a month since i've updated... So sorry! I've been working and its been crazy and also my netbook keyboard is stupid and i haven't got my new laptop yet. So here is the next chapter and i'll try and get my butt into gear and update soon.
Blaine was worried about Kurt, he was having a lot of nightmares and he was still sleeping with the light on. He was also quite jumpy and flinched whenever people other than Blaine, Burt and Carole got near him. He had considered talking to Burt and Carole about getting Kurt to see a therapist. He wasn’t sure what Kurt would say to that, he was sure that Kurt’s parents would agree but Kurt probably wouldn’t. He wanted to help Kurt himself but he didn’t know what to do.
“Kurt?” Blaine said as he sat down next to Kurt on the couch. “We need to talk.”
Kurt dropped his Vogue Magazine and paled a little. “I haven’t done anything, I promise.”
“Its not anything like that sweetie, don’t worry.”
“Then what is it about?”
“It’s delicate.”
“Oh god, you’re leaving me?!”
“No! Honey i’d never do that!”
“Then what is it?”
“I...” Blaine paused, unsure of what to say. “I think...”
“Yes?”
“You need help.”
“Excuse me?”
“I mean, you should talk to someone about what you went through. You went through something that not many people go through and it had affected you really badly. Honey, you’re terrified when people get near you, when people run past you and when they close the door. I know its hard and you’re really trying, we all are and maybe the only person who can help you is a professional. Overtime you might be able to have a door shut or turn off the light. Baby i’m trying to help you get better but there’s only so much i can do. Please Kurt, talk to someone.”
Kurt sighed; it wasn’t like he was going to have a choice. So he nodded and then went back to his magazine. He didn’t like talking to anyone about what happened to him but now he was going to be forced to. Some nosy doctor was going to judge him on everything and then pretend like they cared.

Blaine used his money to get Kurt a good therapist, he really thought this might help Kurt and he knew that his boyfriend wasn’t happy about it but he really wanted to help him. He decided he was going to drive him to his first appointment, not only to make sure that he went but to show him his support.
“Good luck baby,” Blaine smiled and leaned and kissed Kurt.
“I’m only going for you and dad; otherwise i won’t hear the end of it.” Kurt said after kissing back.
“I just don’t want you to be scared anymore.”
“I know.” Kurt took a deep breath and sighed. “I guess i should go in now. I love you.”
“I love you too and i’ll meet you back here in an hour okay? Good luck.”
Kurt got out of the car and made his way to the reception desk where he checked himself in and went to the doctors room. He waited outside until the door opened and there were a pair of long legs in grey trousers standing next to him. He looked up and saw a middle aged woman standing there and smiling.
“Kurt Hummel?” She read his name out from her piece of paper and then watched him nod. “Hi Kurt, I’m Doctor Little. Would you follow me?”
Kurt got up and followed the doctor into her room and sat down in the seat she pointed at. He crossed his legs, then uncrossed them and then tried the other way.
“You don’t have to be nervous,” She smiled warmly. “I’m not here to judge.”
Wasn’t she?
“So did you want to tell me a bit about yourself?”
“I’m Kurt and I’m eighteen.” He started. “I live with my dad Burt, step mum Carole and fiance Blaine.”
“What are they like?”
“My dad is the best dad a person could ask for, when i came out to him he was amazing about it. My step mum has her own son who is like a brother to when he’s not being mean, but that’s what brothers are for, right? Carole is so nice, she is like a mum but she won’t be my mum. My mum died when i was a kid.” Kurt said, not realising how easily he was opening up. “My fiance is incredible, he’s the best man in the world. We’ve had our problems but we always work past them. The last problem we had was him accusing me of cheating on me, kicking me out before i got taken...” He stopped and put his hand over his mouth.
“So your fiance kicked you out and then you got kidnapped?”
“I’m sorry, this was a mistake.”
“Kurt, you don’t have to be scared. I’m not allowed to tell anyone and i’m here to help you recover. So you were kicked out and then what?”
“I went to find somewhere to stay but no one had room for me. I got knocked out and i woke up somewhere bleeding and tied up.”
“Do you know who took you?”
“Yes. It was a guy from school and Blaine’s dad.”
“Your fiancee’s dad kidnapped you?”
“Yeah, he kidnapped me and left me in a basement for so long. I was given dog bowls for water and what i think was food but i wasn’t released to go to the toilet. It was humiliating.” Kurt wiped the tears that fell from his eyes.
“Why did he take you?”
“Because he hates that his son is gay and wants me out of his life.”
“Do you think he would’ve killed you?”
“Honestly, I do. I think he was going to kill me.”
“What happened next?”
“He dropped his phone on the floor and i grabbed it and called Blaine. But he returned for his phone and attacked me; he told me he was never going to let me go and left. I screamed for hours and then the police came and took me to the hospital.”
“What kept you going through all that? Something must’ve gave you hope.”
“It was Blaine and my love for him.”
“Even though he accused you of cheating?”
“Which i didn’t do by the way, he found that out after i went. I love him so much and he was going through some stuff that made him really insecure. He loves me, he really does.”
“That’s it for today, we’ll talk some more next time, okay?”
Kurt thanked her and left, meeting Blaine outside with a kiss and a smile.
“So how was it? How do you feel?”
“It was good and i feel great.”
