Author's Notes: Hope you all had a great Christmas!
Days went past and Kurt still didn’t return home and no one had heard or seen him, Blaine was getting even more worried and more stressed. He refused to go to physio but was forced to by his mother, he was getting there but it was still hard work but he could sort of move his feet. He wanted to return to the Hummel-Hudson home and stay in Kurt’s room to feel close to him but Burt wouldn’t allow it and Blaine understood. They hadn’t heard anything from the police only that they might be turning their search into a murder case which made Blaine feel sick at the thought. He lay on his bed and stared at the picture of Kurt that was on the bedside table, tears fell from his eyes as he remembered what might’ve been their last moments together if something bad did happen to him. He had been so horrible to Kurt during the last month of them being together, he wasn’t a good boyfriend to him at all. Blaine held the picture in his hands and stroked over Kurt’s face, bringing it to his lips and kissing it. But then his phone rang, making him jump and grab it quickly.
“Burt, any news?” He asked desperately.
“Yes, the police want to meet us at the hospital...” Burt started.
“They’ve found him?! Is he okay?” Blaine cut him off.
“Blaine, they want us to go to the morgue.”
Blaine stopped breathing and his heart stopped. No. No way was Kurt dead. Oh god, what if he was? What if his baby was murdered or hit by a car or had another car accident? Blaine couldn’t take it. He wouldn’t know what to do if Kurt was dead; he was the love of Blaine’s life. He was shaking and almost dropped the phone, crying more at the news as his heart beat again.
“They found a body this morning, they’re thinking suicide.” Burt continued.
It was just getting worse, what if Kurt killed himself because of Blaine? After all Kurt had lost NYADA, New York, his home and Blaine. So if he had killed himself, it really would be all Blaine’s fault and he couldn’t live with that or without Kurt. The last conversation they had replayed in his head, remembering Kurt’s face and voice mostly.

“How was the florist meeting?” Blaine asked.
“It was great! We looked through different flowers and narrowed down our choices.” Kurt smiled that amazing smile of his that made him look even more stunning.
“Didn’t look like that when I got there.” Blaine snapped. Kurt’s face was shocked and puzzled.
“You were there?” Kurt asked confused.
“Well you clearly didn’t notice since you two were all over each other!” Kurt’s face was full of shock and hurt which made Blaine’s heart hurt even more.
“What are you talking about?”
“You two! You failed to mention that the florist was a guy or was it because you were too busy fucking him!” Kurt gasped like someone would when they’ve been punched in the gut, like it hurt so much that it hurt to breathe.
“Nothing is going on between me and our florist. I promise.”
“So why did he touch your arm like that?”
“Because I was upset. I was upset because you haven’t been treating me very well lately and it upset me.”
“But you see that’s the perfect reason why to go off with another man. Do you know what, i can’t bear to look at you right now. You’re making me feel really sick so i want you to go. Get out and I don’t want to see you again.”
A pain shot through Kurt’s heart and his eyes welled up with tears, before he could argue that nothing happened, his hand was held out and Blaine’s engagement ring was slammed into it. Blaine was really breaking up with him. It was over.
“You heard me you disgust me! Get out!” Blaine shouted.
“I...”
“Don’t talk to me! Just go!”

Blaine’s mother took him to the hospital where he met Carole and Burt; they both took him to the place that the police told them to meet. No one said anything until one of the doctors came out to see them.
“Is someone here to identify our John Smith?” He asked.
“I am my wife and Blaine too.” Burt told the doctor.
“Me? But why?” Blaine asked.
“Yes you because i need you there. If its Kurt then I need you to see what you’ve done.” Burt snapped.
Blaine’s heart hurt, there was a sharp pain in it after Burt spoke but he was right. This boy had died from suicide and if it was Kurt then it would be Blaine’s fault. He swallowed hard and nodded. He wheeled himself into the room after Burt; he was shaking and feeling really sick. As soon as they got in there, he saw the boy in the slab with a white sheet over him. The body looked about the right height which made Blaine even more terrified. The doctor grabbed onto the sheet and pulled it back, Blaine’s eyes were shut tight and all he heard was a gasp and a loud cry coming from Burt. He expected the worst so he opened his eyes and saw that the boy wasn’t his baby. It wasn’t Kurt. Blaine put his head in his hands and cried hard, very relieved that it wasn’t him. Kurt didn’t kill himself. Blaine cried because that meant that Kurt could still be alive and that gave him hope again, he hoped that Kurt would come back to him. Blaine was positive that this might not be Kurt running away because he had nothing on him and there was no way that Kurt would leave without clothes, money and his hair and facial products. Kurt would’ve gone to a friend’s realistically and even though he had tried, he only tried one person out of the few he had still in school and Lima. Blaine was sure that Kurt was no longer a runaway.

End Notes: So what do we all think has happened to Kurt? Any ideas?

This was really good. Since Kurt seemed to be willing to let Blaine cool down before trying to talk to him again before he went missing I am thinking that someone is keeping him against his will. I can't wait to see what happens next and to see how Blaine continues to deal with Kurt being gone.
