Author's Notes: Blaine had thought about his idea for hours and he became more determined to do it with each passing minute. He was going to ask Kurt to marry him. That would be the ultimate commitment and promise to him that he'd never do another stupid thing again. But Blaine hadn't even moved to New York and he didn't get into NYADA so he had nothing there besides his boyfriend. He had applied to out of state schools and got accepted but he needed to be close to Kurt, he refused to try long distance. It was nothing to do with Kurt, it was all to do with himself. They had been apart and Blaine hated it, he didn't ever want to be apart from Kurt again. There was no better person in this world than Kurt, who had forgiven him so many times over. Kurt loved him so much and Blaine knew it, it was always there. Looking back on memories, Blaine could clearly see how much Kurt had always loved him. If he hadn't been an asshole and a coward then he could've had Kurt a long time ago. Blaine did question whether he was too young to settle down and be married but being with Kurt forever, it made him forget all worries.
Kurt was chasing Blaine around the field they were playing on. It was a few years ago, they were teenage boys but before they were dating. Blaine had stolen something of Kurt's and wouldn't return it, so Kurt was chasing him to get it back. They were laughing and happy together, like they always were back then. Blaine tripped and tumbled onto the grass, Kurt jumping down and laying beside him. Their faces were close to each others, lips inches apart and they stared into each others eyes. Blaine just wanted to lean in and kiss him, take the beautiful boy in his arms and never let him go. But something held him back. He wanted to shout out to Kurt that he loved him but his lips wouldn't move and his voice wasn't there. He just laid there, staring into Kurt's eyes and smiling at him. A hand came up and pushed some of Kurt's hair out of his face, the boys gorgeous and captivating eyes stared into his own. Blaine's heart was pounding inside his chest, having the boy he loved so much so close to him, it was making his heart do somersaults. Kurt's skin was so soft under his fingers as his hand ran down the side of his face after brushing his hair back. This was so more than what friends do. This was crazy. Blaine had to tell Kurt how he felt, he couldn't keep his feelings bottled up anymore.
How the hell had he not known then that Kurt was in love with him? If he wasn't then he would've got straight up off of Blaine and moved away. But then, how had Kurt not known that Blaine was in love with him from that? It didn't really matter now. They were together and that's all that mattered to him. Blaine was currently packing the bag that he had brought with him when Kurt came in. He hadn't yet told Kurt that he was heading back to Ohio.
"What's this?" Kurt asked. His eyes looked sad but his face tried to remain strong. Blaine could tell that Kurt was trying not to freak and think Blaine was leaving him.
"I'm going back to Ohio." Blaine told him with a smile as he continued packing his bag.
"So, you come here to win me back, you have sex with me and we get back together, only so you can leave?" Kurt had his arms folded and stood in the doorway, as if to say "you're not going anywhere".
"I'm going back to Ohio to pack my things so i can move here and be with you." Blaine said, putting his stuff down and walking over to his anxious boyfriend. He put his hands on his lovers arms and stroked them. "I want to be here with you. And i can't be here with you if all my stuff is back there."
"You're moving here? To New York? In here with me?" Kurt asked, his voice so hopeful and his eyes sparkled with happiness.
"Yes. If you'll have me here."
Kurt pulled Blaine into a kiss and wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck, feeling the hands that were on his arms wrap around his waist and pull him close.
"I love you, Blaine." Kurt whispered.
"And i love you." Blaine replied. "Always. From cradle to grave."
"From cradle to grave." Kurt leaned his forehead against Blaine's. "Clean slate, okay? Things from the past, are going to be left there so we are going to start a new. I love you and you love me and that's all we need right now. We are going to build the rest back up and we're going to be happy. Well i hope we will be."
"We will be, I promise." Blaine was so happy, he never thought he'd be this happy again. "Kurt, i just... thank you for taking me back and being so amazing. I am so lucky to have you and that you've taken me back. I have met the most amazing person in the world and i will be so much better for you. I promise."
"Time will tell." Kurt replied with a smile. "So, you should return to Ohio and let our parents know what's going on and then hurry back here, to me. I will be waiting for you and so will my bed. Now hurry."
Blaine grinned and kissed Kurt, before grabbing his stuff and hurrying out the door. Eager to get back as soon as possible to start a brand new chapter in his life. But first, he had to do the impossible: Get Burt to give him permission to propose to Kurt. Time to pray.
