A few months passed and Dianna and Blaine had moved in with Kurt and Burt. Dianna and Mark's divorce was almost done. They had managed to stop the contractions when she went into early labour, now she had one month left to wait. So it was pretty much any time soon. Dianna was incredibly excited and she could tell that Burt was too. They hadn't a clue what the sex was and honestly they didn't want to know yet. They had already ruled out calling the baby Elizabeth if it was a girl, as much as Burt and Kurt would've loved it. It would've made it awkward for Dianna calling the baby the name of her best friend since she was with her husband. Burt wanted another boy, so he could actually do guy things with him but Dianna wanted a little girl. Dianna always dreamed of having a daughter, she would be so beautiful. Dianna lay on her back, thinking to herself about her baby. She turned her head and watched Burt sleep. He was such a good father to Kurt and had always been so kind to Blaine. He didn't even get angry at Blaine for cheating on Kurt and breaking his heart. Dianna was incredibly angry at Blaine for it, it was the kind of thing Mark would've done, not Blaine.
It was two weeks until Valentine's Day and Blaine was determined to do something romantic for Kurt. He wanted to win him back and the best day to do that was on Valentine's Day. He would show him romance and love, he would show him that he was willing to do whatever it took to get him back. He loved him so much and he hated what he had done. He knew that he was slowly winning Kurt back, every single day that they lived together. He could see the love in Kurt's eyes when he looked at Blaine. He knew Kurt stared at him and checked him out every now and then. He wasn't stupid, he could hear Kurt whisper that he loved Blaine still. He heard him the time that they were watching a musical and Blaine was falling asleep while lying next to Kurt on the bed. They woke up the following morning, snuggling together with their faces just inches apart. His love for Kurt never once faded, in fact it grew every single day and he wished that Kurt could see it. He knew how much Kurt loved Blaine but he wanted Kurt to see that he was loved by Blaine. He loved Kurt so much. He was human and he made a huge mistake. He had learnt his lesson and he would never ever do it again. Blaine held his notepad and wrote notes on ideas that he could do for Valentine's Day.
The next morning Burt Hummel went to visit his late wife's grave. He hadn't been there in a while and he knew he needed to go and talk to her, tell her that he loved her no matter who he was with. He bought her some of her favourite flowers to rest on her grave.
"Elizabeth, it's me... Burt. I know its been a while since i've been here but it doesn't mean i haven't thought about you. I have thought about you every single day. I had to pluck up the courage to come here and explain what has been happening. Where do I begin? Kurt and Blaine broke up, but they're still best friends so its good. I see a reunion happening soon. What else? Oh yeah... I'm in a relationship with Dianna. I know its crazy, but she and Mark are getting a divorce and then she and i slept together. Yes it crazy i know but now we're having a baby. Please don't hate me. Kurt and Blaine aren't too thrilled about their parents being in a relationship and having a baby, but we love each other, El. I love Dianna. I love you too but i love her also." Burt crouched in front of the grave and stroked the writing on it. "I am trying my best El, to be the best dad and the best partner a man can me. I hope you can be happy for me because I am happy. Kurt loves Dianna and he loves Blaine too. I know its kinda messed up, them two being in love and used to be together and maybe again one day and their parents having a baby together. I know its not right, i know its really messed up but we can't help being in love."
Kurt sat at the end of his bed thinking about everything. He and Blaine had started to get close again, they were best friends and there were so many times where they almost kissed. He wanted to kiss him, he wanted him back so badly. He did know that Blaine loved him, he knew that Blaine would never do what he did again and he knew that Blaine would do whatever it took to make him happy and win him back. But there was something he needed but he didn't know what it was. Maybe if he found it, he and Blaine could reunite. No one else was home that morning so Kurt decided to go and get a coffee, maybe do some shopping. When he got to the Lima Bean and got into the queue waiting to place his order, there was a tap on his shoulder.
"Hey." The person said. "You dropped this."
In the persons hand was a card.
"This isn't mine." Kurt said, examining it.
"It is now." Kurt saw that the card had a number on it.
"So I take it that you are Blade?" Kurt read the name from the card.
"That I am. And you are?" Blade held his hand out for Kurt to shake.
"I'm Kurt. So, why are you giving me your number? You've never met me before."
"You're cute and you have a hot ass. I thought i'd give it a shot and see if you were interested in going on a date with me." Blade smiled.
"How do you even know I'm gay?" Kurt asked then paused. They both laughed. "Sorry. Yeah its obvious."
It was Kurt's turn to order and once he did, he went to pay but Blade got there faster.
"So you give me your number and pay for my coffee?"
"If it helps my chances." Blade winked. "I'll wait eagerly for your call. See you soon Kurt."
