Author's Notes: We welcome back the charming Cooper Anderson
Cooper Anderson arrived in Ohio the next day; he was concerned about the phone call that he had received from his baby brother. He couldn’t believe what his mother had done, especially with the man that had always been like family to them. He knew that Kurt and Blaine were best friends so he can’t imagine Kurt taking it very well, he must be furious with his father for doing this with his best friend and crushes mother, a woman who had been a mother figure to him. He hadn’t been super close to Blaine for a long time, well since he moved away but he always told Blaine to call him when things got really bad. This was one of them times. He called Blaine after he got off the plane and was told to meet them at the Lima Bean. He went in and saw Kurt and Blaine sat together and holding hands.
“What’s all this then?” Cooper asked as he pointed towards the joined hands.
“Oh we’re together now; we have been for a couple of months now. Sorry i didn’t tell you, things have been a bit... insane.” Blaine smiled at his brother and squeezed on Kurt’s hand.
“Yeah i get it. So, what’s going on in the house of crazy since i last spoke to you then?”
“Well I had a girlfriend but that was to cover up my sexuality and make our father happy, i came out at school by serenading Kurt at the prom which we both got crowned Prom King and Queen-“ Blaine started.
“Wait, prom queen?” Cooper couldn’t help but laugh.
“Yeah, that was me. You’re lucky, if you weren’t my boyfriend’s brother i wouldn’t be so nice about you laughing.” Kurt smiled.
“Anyway, dad found out about me being gay and he attacked Kurt for it, blaming him and saying that he had ‘poisoned’ me. Mum and he were talking and they mentioned that dad was in love with Kurt’s mum then mum said that if dad couldn’t accept me then he should leave, and he did. Not long later, Burt and mum got drunk and slept together. They did it twice, got together and then discovered that she was pregnant with his baby.” Blaine stopped when he finished, taking a long sip of his coffee.
“Fuck me...” Cooper said once Blaine stopped speaking. This was more than he expected, way more.
“No thanks.” Kurt muttered under his breath. Blaine heard it and laughed quietly.
“Mum wouldn’t get rid of a baby, its not her and i don’t want her to hate me or Kurt if she decided to. But its messed up if she does, then the baby would be mine and Kurt’s brother or sister and their brothers would be dating, eventually married.” Blaine told his brother, not noticing Kurt staring at him lovingly and smiling when Blaine mentioned their future marriage.
“Yeah its messed up.” Cooper tapped his fingers on the table. “There’s not a lot i can do but I’ll talk to mum and Burt. But you know if there is genuine feels there then they’ll want to be together and there’s nothing we can do to stop it. It’ll be selfish to force them to not be together, that wouldn’t be fair. But you have a right to be mad at them Squirt, I’m mad at them too.”

Dianna hadn’t seen Blaine at all since the secret was exposed and it upset her. She hated that her son was mad at her, but she just couldn’t get rid of this baby. Yes she was getting older, she was forty-six but older women have babies. She had Cooper when she was eighteen and then Blaine ten years later. She had always wanted a little girl and if this baby was a girl then she most certainly wouldn’t get rid of it. After discussing it further with Burt they had decided to keep the baby and now he was excited about it. Both Dianna and Burt wanted to make things up to their sons but they just didn’t know how. However the more they saw of each other, the more they liked each other. Dianna didn’t think about Mark much anymore, the only thing she thought about was what he’d say to this and how he’d react. If he went after Burt, that’d be terrible. Dianna’s hand went to her stomach and rubbed it softly; she smiled and remembered how much she loved having a baby. Her thoughts were disrupted by a knock at the door, she jumped and went to answer it and her face lightened up when she saw her eldest son.
“Cooper!” She threw her arms round him and hugged him tight.
“Hello mother,” He hugged her back. “Blaine called me.”
Dianna pulled away and looked at him, nodding before walking inside with Cooper following her. “Oh he did? What did he tell you?”
“Everything. You being pregnant with Burt’s baby and dad leaving. I can’t believe it mum, getting with your best friends husband and having his baby. What would Liz say if she knew? I can fully understand why Blaine and Kurt are so upset though.” Cooper said once sitting down on the couch. “Do you love Burt?”
Dianna nodded. “I’ve had feelings for him for a few months now, I know its a bit hypocritical of me to get angry at your father for loving Liz but he’s loved her for years, before she died too. Burt and I just got close and then we kinda started to like each other. I won’t be with him if its what Blaine wants but I can’t get rid of my baby.”
“I get it, i said to them that they can’t stop you two from being together if you wanted to be, especially if you love him. I understand mother and although i’m not happy about the situation, i’m not all that angry with you. The situation is messed up, especially the fact that the baby will have brothers who are dating each other. I know if i was Kurt or Blaine, i’d be just as mad as they are.”
“I know and i’m sorry about it. We were both upset and drunk when we slept together the first time, then after it was because of our feelings. They have been the only times, neither time with protection because we didn’t think this would happen, well i’d thought about it but i wasn’t all that sure.”
“If you want this baby then i’ll stand by you, but i’m also standing by my brother.”
