Blaine woke up one school morning and began to feel sick; he knew what he was facing today. He had come out at prom and he knew what Kurt suffered so it was now what he would suffer. He had already planned to quit the football team because he just didn’t want to do it anymore. He saw the look on Kurt’s face when he sang to him and when he kissed him, it was beautiful and shocked. He was so glad that Kurt was his boyfriend, he had wanted that for so many years and maybe, just maybe all the suffering would be worth it because he’ll have Kurt. He was going to change his look completely to exactly how he wanted it, he sleeked his hair back with gel and wore coloured shirts with a bowtie. Kurt told him that green suited him really well so he wore a green shirt and bowtie. He loved making Kurt happy. He was going to arrange a date for him soon; he was excited about it and showing Kurt his love for him. Kurt deserved it, especially since Blaine had so much to make up for. Once Blaine was ready, he went next door to pick up Kurt so they could drive together. He knocked on the door and Kurt answered and gasped when he saw Blaine.
“Do you like it? It’s the real me.” Blaine smiled.
Kurt grinned and fixed Blaine’s bowtie. “I love it. You look so handsome and adorable.” He pressed a soft kiss to Blaine’s lips. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m so nervous but I know that I’m doing the right thing. I want to be with you and I had to come out some time.”
“I think you’re amazing Blaine. I hope that it’s just gossip today and no physical violence, i will protect you if there is.”
“Kurt, I’ve played football, i’ll be okay.” Blaine smiled. “Let’s go” Blaine took Kurt’s hand and led him to his car, opening the door for Kurt and helping him in like a gentleman. Kurt kissed his cheek to say thank you which Blaine thought was incredibly sweet.

Once they arrived at the school, Blaine’s hands started shaking and he went pale. Kurt knew what to expect daily but Blaine was new to this. He took Blaine’s hands and held them tight before leaning in and kissing him deeply.
“I am proud of you and we will get through this together. We’ll be okay, I promise.” Kurt smiled and kissed Blaine again.
“Can’t we just stay in the car and kiss?” Blaine pouted.
“Nooo!” Kurt giggled and kissed the pout. “We have to go to school so we can get out of this hellhole of a town quicker.”
“You know how to make me feel better. Okay lets go in, the quicker we go in the quicker we’ll come out and i can make out with you.” Blaine grinned and got out of the car.
They both walked into the school and immediately all eyes fell on them. Blaine gripped onto Kurt’s hand as they walked through the hallway.
“Yeah we’re gay and together, get over it!” Kurt snapped at two whispering and staring girls.
But then Blaine spotted one person that he really didn’t want to see, his ex girlfriend, Mandy. She was glaring at him and if looks could kill then they would both be dead. Blaine got even more worried when she started walking over to them.
“How dare you!” Mandy shouted at him. “Do you know what your stunt did to my reputation? People are laughing at me Blaine, yeah they’re laughing! Its humiliating. You should just stop playing now because its not funny.”
“I’m not playing; i’ve been in love with Kurt since I was a kid. I’ve never loved you and i was only with you because i didn’t want to be bullied and pushed around, i thought i had to be what people wanted me to be but i don’t. Kurt showed me that i can be who I am with pride and I’m proud to be gay and be his boyfriend.” Blaine said, squeezing Kurt’s hand.
“So you’re really a fag? That’s disgusting Blaine! I kissed you and I almost sucked you off, i could’ve caught something.” Mandy retched.
“Actually, if anyone was going to catch anything it would’ve been Blaine catching something from you. We all know about your reputation Mandy.” Kurt jumped in before Blaine could even say anything.
“Why you little bitch!” Mandy threw her hand back to slap Kurt but it was caught by someone behind her. To Blaine and Kurt’s surprise it was Noah Puckerman.
“Leave them alone Mandy. You should really join glee club, you really learn a lot there. Being gay isn’t a choice and you can’t catch anything from them, so get lost Mandy.” Puck let go of her wrist and watched her as she stormed away. “You okay guys?”
“Thanks Puck, that was great.” Blaine smiled.
“Puck was right, you should join glee Blaine. You sing like an angel and you’ll fit right in there.” Kurt smiled at his boyfriend.
“You think I should?”
“You should dude, it’s awesome. There are a couple of the football guys there so you won’t be alone.” Puck nudged Blaine’s shoulder.
“Okay I will. Do I have to audition?”
“I don’t think so, i mean you sang at prom so i doubt it but if you want to sing then you can. I know I’d love it if you sang.” Kurt grinned. “You have all day to decide because we have to go to class now, but i’ll meet you at your last class and we can walk to glee together. What do you think?”
“I’d love that, I don’t think I’ll have any problems today considering Puck, Finn or Mike are in a lot of my classes. But my favourite class will be the one I have with you later, so until then beautiful.” Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt’s hand before walking off with Puck, leaving Kurt smiling and thinking that everything will be alright.
