Author's Notes: With the possibility of Kurt still being alive, Blaine and Cooper try to search the town for information when they come across some witches.
Cooper sat up in his coffin and watched as a sweaty, panting Blaine crawled out of his. Cooper used to be worried about Blaine’s dreams but now he was used to them, he figured they were harmless but Blaine disagreed, they caused him pain. Yesterday he came up with the idea that Kurt could be a vampire, it is a possibility but why kidnap him why not just leave him like they left Blaine. For 100 years he knew that Kurt was dead and he just humoured Blaine, he knew it sounded horrible but i didn’t want to leave him. If Kurt was alive then surely they’d know by now.
“Evening Blaine, nice sleep?” Cooper asked.
“The usual” Blaine groaned.
Cooper stood up and put the lid back onto his coffin, making sure that it was in a safe place.
“We should go back to the bar, you know like we did back in Lymian, we might get some clues” Blaine suggested.
“We could do, except this time you’re gonna do the talking.” Cooper replied.
“Fine, what are you gonna do?” Blaine sighed, running a hand through his hair before leaning against the table.
“Wait until the bar goes quiet and then listen to what you have to say.” Cooper shrugged, it wasn’t a terrible idea but he knew it wasn’t a great one.
Blaine walked out of the bed and breakfast followed by Cooper, who was trying to keep up with his baby brother.
“You know we have to leave tonight if we are asking about vampires, we have to compel Mrs. Lane and leave.” Blaine told Cooper.
“I know but if we get information then it won’t matter if we leave will it?” Cooper reminded him.
“Guess not.” Blaine said thoughtfully as he pushed the door to the pub open, looking inside and seeing it packed with people. In his day, there wouldn’t be women in a bar.
Blaine walked up to the bar and looked at the bartender. He was the same height as Blaine, a lot bigger and looked about 40.
“What can I get you?” the man mumbled.
“Er a beer please” Blaine asked looking directly into the man’s eyes, he had no money so he did what he thought he had to. “On the house.”
“Here is your beer on the house.” the man stared back.
“Now I would like you to tell me everything you can about vamp…” Blaine stopped when he overheard a couple of women on the other side of the bar talking about someone called Sue and a package.
“Excuse mister what were you saying?” the bartender asked.
“I’m sorry, it doesn’t matter” Blaine said, not really playing attention, he got up and started taking his beer over to a closer table near the women.
“That special package Sue ordered is preparing to be moved you know that.” One of the women said.
“Yes I know that, I’m not entirely stupid but I think that their move requires magic, you know to provide a shield.” the other woman said.
“I know you think that and Jesse disagrees, he thinks if there is a slight chance of attack then they can try and take them down. There will be 5 other vampires there with Jesse and Sue when the exchange is done.” the first woman replied. “You may be a witch but you don’t need to perform spells every five seconds.”
Blaine couldn’t believe what he was hearing, witches talking about the vampire Sue, surely he heard wrong.
“I don’t perform spells every five seconds and anywhere Sue said I was very special.” the second woman snapped.
“Only because you’ve been sleeping with her and back to the subject of the package, he is delicate at this state but Sue wants him that way. Do you know where the drop is?” the first woman asked.
“I do but I can’t give it here, not in public. Why didn’t you ask me earlier at home?”
“Because we’re talking about it now and anyway no one knows what we are on about so we’re fine”
“The exchange date has not been decided anyway so the place might have changed”
Blaine lost the end of the conversation as a bachelor party stormed in and saw that the witches were leaving. Blaine got up and ran after them. Back in the 1800’s witches wore different clothes and lived in private groups. These witches looked different to the ones he was use to see, the first witch had a long back, straight hair, she was quite small too and Asian, and she wore red and black, a black jacket, black skirt, black knee high boots but a red shirt and hair band. Blaine thought she looked quite plain. The second witch was taller, had medium length blonde hair, she was wearing a green shorts with a pink shirt. Her face was long and slim, Blaine would describe it as horsey. The witches went round the back of the pub and through the gate leading to an alley.
“Quick Tina, we must not be seen.” the second witch whispered.
“I know Britt, you do realize I am in charge of the secrecy of this operation.” Tina snapped.
Brittany’s face sunk by the words ‘I am in charge’, Blaine could see even in the dark. Blaine was about to follow them when Cooper came up behind him.
“Where did you go?” Cooper whispered. “What are you looking at?”
“I was going to ask the bartender about vampires when I heard those two women talking about that vampire Sue, you know the one that woman back in Lymian was talking about. He is planning on receiving a ‘secret package’ across from some other vampire called Jesse. The women you see were witches, their names Tina and Brittany, Tina said she was in charge of the secrecy but obviously they didn’t do a good job talking about it in a pub and I heard almost every word of their conversation. They said that the ‘package’ was very delicate and they said it was a he, who ever he is we have to save him. They are planning an exchange but I don’t know what for. He is in severe danger and only we can save him, we know the plan, well some of it at least.” Blaine was eagerly telling Cooper as they began walking to keep up with the witches.
“If he is danger, then yes we can save him. Did they say where they were holding him?”
“No but they said that they haven’t decided on a date or location of the exchange. So I figured that if we follow them then maybe we could find out some more.”
They caught up with the witches. There was a car nearby, Cooper picked the lock and hotwired the car, and they were going to follow the witches.

There was a scream, the boys turned round the witches were gone but they saw two men gagging a girl. They hit her across the head and she fell silent, her body looked almost lifeless. Just like a bag of rubbish they threw her into the boot of a car. Blaine and Cooper decided to abandon their search for the witches for now and help this poor girl. The kidnapper’s car sped off shortly followed by Blaine and Cooper.
