Night had fallen, Rachel, Puck and Sam rose from their holes. They were covered in dirty and looked hungry. Blaine couldn’t deny that he was hungry so the six of them went to hunt; they ran until they found some people and compelled them. Once they were compelled they all fed, unfortunately one died but the vampires thought it was worth it. When they were fed they all waited outside the castle doors.
“This is it. Right Cooper you go first, sneak in and be as quiet as you can.” Puck said. “Good luck.”
Cooper turned to open the door when Quinn grabbed his shoulder and turned him round. She kissed him deeply.
“I love you.” she whispered in his ear.
“I love you too.” he said just as quietly.
“Come out alive.” she said desperately.
He didn’t know how to answer, he couldn’t promise anything. He let her go and pushed the door open slowly, and crept inside.
When Cooper was safe inside, there was a statue beside the door so he hid beside it. A woman was coming towards the door; she was alone so he could question her and then disarm her with his ring. Cooper grabbed her from behind and pushed her against the wall.
“Who are you?” he growled.
“What the hell? Who are you? Get off me.” she whimpered.
“Who are you?” he repeated.
“Sugar, my name’s Sugar now who are you?” she cried.
“I’m asking the questions. How many vampires are there here?” he asked.
“Three” she said quietly.
“How many?!” he repeated.
“Three!” she cried louder.
“Who are they?” he asked angrily.
“Sebastian, Santana and Jesse. Please, what are you going to do to me?” she cried pleading.
Cooper didn’t answer he stuck his ring in her neck. Her body went limp and she slid to the floor. Cooper knocked three times on the door indicating to those outside that it was safe to come in. Quinn, Blaine, Rachel, Puck and Sam came in.
“You and Quinn go and find Kurt. Cooper and Rachel will stand guard out here, while Sam and i will go keep guard down there.” Puck said.
Quinn and Blaine made their way first to the room where they first saw Kurt but he wasn’t there, they checked a few other rooms. They decided to check the cellar. Quinn held the door handle and pulled it open, Kurt was standing in the door way and screamed. Blaine covered his mouth and took him back into the cellar; Quinn closed the door behind them.
“Kurt it’s me, don’t scream.” Blaine smiled faintly hoping he’d recognise him.
“Kurt? I’m not Kurt, I’m Karl. Who are you and what do you want?” He asked scared, Blaine could feel him trembling and shaking in his arms
“It’s me, Blaine. Blaine Anderson. I proposed to you on your eighteenth birthday, our parents introduced us five months before, we danced. I love you and you loved me.” Blaine's eyes watered and he began to cry. He was so desperate for Kurt to remember him, this was not what he expected and he didn’t know what to do.
“I don’t know you, please don’t hurt me” Kurt begged, trying to get Blaine off of him so he could get away and get some help. Kurt really had no idea who Blaine was, this guy had some familiarity to him but he couldn’t think of anything.
“You know me, please. I’ve looked for you for one hundred and fifty years. I’ve never stopped loving you or believing in you, in us. Please remember please, you know me. You know me better than anyone in the world.” Blaine completely broke down.
He looked desperately at Quinn for help, who was also teary. He really wanted her help but she had no idea what to do. He needed his Kurt back but he couldn’t have that if he didn’t remember him. He really thought that Kurt would never forget him even after all this time but he was clearly wrong. This Kurt was not his Kurt. He kept Kurt in his arms and didn’t let him go just yet, he needed to hold him to stop him from collapsing to the floor, completely breaking down. After one hundred and fifty years this is what he had. This, in everyone else’s eyes, would be a complete waste of their time and energy. People had died for no reason but Blaine didn’t believe that, he refused to believe that because this was Kurt, he would die for Kurt if it came to it.
“I’m so sorry Blaine, i think Jesse compelled him. He’s old so his power is strong.” she said quietly.
