Author's Notes: Quinn is eager to take revenge for the murder of her sister. Blaine comes across a woman called Emma.
The drive back into the village was quiet, no one spoke at all. They were all still in shock about what happened back at the hideout. Blaine was driving; he turned around and saw Cooper and Quinn asleep on each other. He did not try to wake them even when the car stopped and they had arrived, Blaine slowly and quietly got out of the car. He had stopped outside a bed and breakfast; the night had come and thought it’d be best if they all rested for the night. His first night sleep for 150 years, he unstrapped the coffins from the top of the car covering them with blankets he carried them to the bedrooms. He sat on the bed looking at the note that Cooper had given; pulling the note to his face he smelt it, but he did not recognise the smell. Just as Blaine had made himself comfortable the door flung open. It was Cooper and Quinn.
“Why didn’t you wake us?” Cooper asked.
“You were exhausted, how’d you know what room i was in?” Blaine asked.
“We asked at the desk, stupid.” Quinn laughed, sitting down next to Blaine, looking at the note.
“Oh right yes, well Cooper has the bed and i got your own room Quinn.” Blaine informed.
“Where are you sleeping?” Cooper asked.
“I’m going to take the coffin.” Blaine said.
“You don’t have to.” Cooper replied. “You could have a bed or a different room”
“I know but there aren’t any spare rooms, there is only one bed in here and anyway I’d prefer it if you had it.” Blaine smiled.

Cooper and Quinn slept peacefully that night; Blaine was having nightmares of Kurt being sacrificed, and his body empty of all blood, organs and bones. He tossed and turned, sweating and panting. He began banging on the side of the coffin, the lid was pulled off and Cooper stood over him with a concerned face. Blaine’s eyes shot open, he saw Cooper’s face and felt guilty he must have woken him up, Blaine thought. Blaine pulled the lid of the coffin back on without saying a word to Cooper and lay sobbing to himself. He fell back to sleep and was awoken by the scream which had woken him every time he slept for the past 150. The following morning when Blaine awoke he felt different, sort of human. He was woken up to the morning something he hadn’t had done for many years. Pushing the lid off the coffin he saw that Cooper was already awake and out, probably feeding Blaine thought. Blaine was so hungry and human food could not fulfil his needs. He went out of the bed and breakfast and went to hunt. When he returned he felt so much better and Cooper was back too. Cooper was watching Blaine as he sat down and opened the newspaper, he was worried about Blaine. After witnessing what he did last night he thought it best to confront him but decided against it. Quinn walked into the room and gave a weak smile to the boys.
“Morning Quinn, how’d you sleep?” Cooper asked.
“Okay i guess thanks. What about you?” Quinn replied.
“Fine thanks until i heard something that woke me.” Cooper said looking at Blaine.
“What was it?” Quinn asked curiously, looking at Blaine at the same time as if there was some kind of secret between the boys that she was being left out of.
“Probably an animal attacked outside it sounded like it.” Cooper answered.
“I’m going to have breakfast; I’ll see you boys in a bit.” Quinn said smiling leaving the room.
“She seems in a better mood.” Quinn said.
“Blaine, what happened last night?”
“We slept a night for the first time in 150 years?”
“You know what i mean Blaine, the banging, the panting and sweating, you cried Blaine. What was going on?”
“I had a dream.”
“And what happened in this dream?”
“I was there when Kurt was being sacrificed and i saw the blood being drained from him, his body being emptied of everything, i banged to try and stop it but it didn’t work then you took the lid off and i woke.”
Cooper did the one thing Blaine didn’t want him to do, look at him in pity. This angered Blaine so he got up and left the room.

Blaine thought it’d be best if he went for a walk to clear his head so that’s what he did. He walked down the road kicking stones when he spotted a woman watching him. She just stood there watching him, Blaine felt rather awkward. The woman beckoned him towards her; he looked around to make sure that she had the right person and when he realised that she had he slowly moved towards her.
“Are you Blaine?” the woman whispered.
“Yes, who are you?” Blaine asked confused.
“I’m Emma, you see that house over there” she pointed to it. “Be an hour before dawn without fail.”
Emma walked away leaving Blaine very confused.
Night had fallen and Blaine went back to the bed and breakfast.
“Blaine, where the hell have you been?” Quinn shouted hitting him with a newspaper, Blaine’s fangs accidentally came out.
“Sorry” Blaine said putting them away. “You hit me; it’s a natural instinct. Er Cooper could you grab my coffin for me please.”
“Why?” Cooper asked puzzled.
“And you still didn’t answer my question!” Quinn stood with her arms folded as Blaine answered Cooper’s question instead of hers.
“Erm I’m staying in the boathouse down in the village. Some woman called Emma asked me to visit her an hour before dawn and i need to be there without fail so i thought if i took my coffin down to the boathouse then i don’t have to walk the distance.” Blaine explained.
Blaine tied the coffin to the top of the car and got into it. Cooper drove him to the boathouse where Blaine slept that night.
