“Yes, why?” Quinn replied curiously.
“Back in the town, i came across a couple of witches and i wondered what you knew about them, their names were Brittany and Tina.” Blaine said.
“Tina and Brittany, i think they’re cousins, they work for Sue because they are too in her debt. Why do you ask?”
“Well they were talking about Sue and a ‘package’ that was supposed to a he and very delicate. They mentioned a Jesse and that Tina said she was in charge of the secrecy. I’m guessing the ‘package’ was Kurt.” Blaine remembered.
“You’re right, it is Kurt. Now i know who is in charge of the secrecy and security i know how to get past, but i need to where. We need to go back to that pub as soon as we can and if they are there we follow them.” Quinn decided.
The four of them drove back to the village, where Frannie and Quinn were staying. While Quinn and Frannie slept the boys went to the pub to see if the witches were there. But they weren’t. So Blaine and Cooper went into the woods to feed as they were extremely hungry, they found nothing bigger than a squirrel, to Cooper’s disappointment. The following night Frannie and Quinn hid in the car with Cooper while Blaine went inside the bar. Thanks again to the compelling both boys were able to obtain mobile phones, so when Blaine saw the witches arrive he messaged Cooper. The witches stayed for a while, it felt like hours but was in fact only half an hour. They were already tipsy when they entered the bar but they left it drunk which was even better. These witches, Blaine thought, were blood witches as they flew into the night. He ran to the car and Cooper sped off trying to catch up with them. It wasn’t that hard trying to keep up with them it was the trying to see them through the trees part now that was hard. They landed in a cottage half a mile down the road from the village, it was a nice little place, and not a place where many people would come knocking, looked privately owned. A typically girly place, Cooper described it, with ivy crawling the walls and rose bushes with a little wooden gate. Blaine agreed with Cooper but he realised that Kurt would have liked this place. He looked down at the pendant.
“It’s a pretty necklace.” Quinn said smiling.
“I brought it for him, it was our first Christmas together.” Blaine mumbled.
“I forgot to tell you i put a spell on it so it can protect you from the sun. It was something i learned quite recently so incase any new developments happen with me, i can protect myself. Oh yes i forgot, i did the same to your ring too Cooper and i want to give you this. It’s my father’s; it enchanted too to disarm an enemy for a short period of time that includes vampires.” Quinn pulled a ring out of her jacket pocket; it had a dragon engraved on.
Cooper smiled and was speechless, he never expected anything, he managed to say “thank you” just about. The sun was rising and Blaine began to panic, what if the spell didn’t work, would they have time to dig a hole? Well they did it at the old asylum.
“Blaine, it’s going to work, i have no doubt about it. Your first time in daylight for a long time, be happy.” Quinn smiled.
“It’s been too long. While we wait for the wicked witches to leave, you could tell us about those vampires at the old asylum place.” Cooper suggested.
“Their names are Azimio and Karofsky, Azimio is the black vampire and Karofsky was the really big one. They are trying to find Kurt in order to make an exchange of their own, but it’s not for life it’s for money. They intend to sell him to vampire haters who want to drain him and sell his blood. So who ever he ends up with he’ll end up dying.”
“We need to save him; you helped save me so we can help you save him.” Frannie said.
“No Frannie, you’re not helping us, after we’ve looked in the hideout I’m taking you home.” Quinn said very stern.
Frannie and Quinn continued to argue until Cooper stopped them and pointed out that the witches were leaving. Quinn, Blaine and Cooper snuck out of the car; Frannie was made to stay as it was safer in the car and sat sulking. They got to the front of the house, as they expected the door was locked. So Quinn performed the spell to unlock it.
“I don’t know how much time we have so we need to be quick.” Quinn whispered as they began to search the hideout.
The cottage was dark, suitable for a vampire to be housed; the only light was coming from the front door. After it was closed there was no light, but thankfully Cooper and Blaine could see in the dark but Quinn couldn’t so she whispered a spell to hands light up. Blaine was a bit creeped out by the spell.
“Check every drawer and shelf.” Cooper whispered.
“What do you think we’re doing?” Blaine snapped. “Sorry.”
“What exactly are we looking for?” Cooper asked.
“Just anything that might give us a clue, witches are poor secret keepers I don’t know why they were even hired as them. So they might leave something around like a phone number or address.” Quinn informed. “Check by the phone.”
Cooper walked over and went through the papers next to the phone. There was nothing, so he picked up the phone and there was a note with an address and phone number on.
“I’ve found something, it has a number and address but it has no name.” Cooper said.
“Let’s have a look.” Quinn said, but before she could see it there was a smash coming from the kitchen.
They ran through the door and saw a woman standing there with a limp body in her arms. Blaine turned on the light switch and a woman with black hair stood with blood around her mouth, her eyes were pink.
“Santana?” Blaine croaked.
“You! I thought we killed you.” Santana said in shock.
“Sebastian killed me alright and brought me back as a vampire.” Blaine shouted angrily.
Santana looked very distressed and angry. Quinn looked at the dead body was and screamed.
“You bitch! What’ve you done?” she screamed.
“Quinn what is it?” Cooper asked softly.
Blaine and Cooper looked down and saw that the body was of Frannie, every drop of blood sucked out. Her body looked like a sack of bones, her skin was white and there were puncture holes all over.
