When they pulled apart. Blaine hadn’t noticed that Kurt had put on a movie, and he craned his neck to see over the boy a find out what it was. “What movie did you put on?”
“Well you were teasing me and it was killing me so i just had to.” he smiled when they pulled apart. “Oh that, well you were talking about weddings and marriage and i was in the mood to watch one of them films, hope its ok its My Best Friends Wedding, i can change it if you don’t like it.”
Blaine laughed. “No, no, you can keep it. The last two were very me oriented.” He pulled Kurt down next to him and into a snuggle as they began to watch the movie. “Hey, so… I’ve never seen it before. This time you might need to do some explaining.” He smiled and one hand that wasn’t wrapped around Kurt took one of the boy’s hands.
Kurt was pulled down so instead of sitting he was now lying down and snuggled up next to Blaine. “Well any questions feel free to ask, i find this film pretty simple and self explanatory.” He smiled as one of his hands was taken and held. “There are probably a couple of actors and actresses in this that you may recognize like Julia Roberts, Rupert Everett and Cameron Diaz.”
“Oh that’s why they looked familiar…” Blaine said, watching the screen. Kurt was right; the movie didn’t need much explaining. He looked around and saw an open notebook lying on the floor, wondering what it was. Blaine sighed when Kurt snuggled closer and leaned his head on top of Kurt’s.
He hoped the movie wasn’t boring Blaine as it wasn’t his type of film. He felt tired but his eyes weren’t sleepy, he guessed it was the coffee he had had earlier that was taking effect. In the corner of his eye he could see his journal lying on the floor. Damn, he thought, he thought he put it away. He would’ve moved to put it back but he didn’t want to as he was happy and comfy where he was. His eyes looked up and noticed Blaine’s head rest on top of his own, he smiled.
Blaine noticed Kurt’s eyes float to the notebook on the floor he was just looking at and watched his expression. “What’s that?” Blaine asked, tilting his head in the notebook’s direction. He looked closer and noticed writing on the open page, and he began to wonder if it was a journal or something.
“What’s what?” Kurt asked, he saw Blaine tilting his head at the journal on the floor. “Oh that? That’s er that’s my journal, i thought i put it away but obviously i didn’t. Don’t worry there isn’t anything that bad about you in there.”
“Are you saying I’m in there? Well, now I’m intrigued.” Blaine smiled and pretended to get up. “Now I just have to go see what it says about me….” He laughed when Kurt pulled him down, back onto the bed. “Fine, fine.” Blaine said in between laughs as he settled back into the bed.
Kurt laughed and pulled him down; he got up himself and held the journal in his hands. He smiled handing it to Blaine. “If you really want to read it.” he wanted Blaine to know what he was thinking and how he was feeling, he wrote about everything, even the stuff that had happened that night.

Blaine’s eyebrows shot up when Kurt handed him his journal. He didn’t think Kurt was actually going to let him read it. “Let’s see, where to begin….” Blaine teased, opening the book but not knowing where to start. He looked up at Kurt. “Where should I begin reading about you?”
Kurt sat crossed legged on top of the covers next to Blaine. “How about the day we met?” he asked taking the journal from Blaine flicking to the date. “Here it is.” he said handing it back. He was a bit nervous due to a lot of stuff was in there about Karofsky and how lonely he was feeling.
Blaine looked at Kurt as if asking for permission, before he began to read. He became tense and angry when Kurt talked about Karofsky. He then went on to say how lonely he was and that no one understood, until the sentence suddenly stopped and a new paragraph began. “I went to go spy on the Warblers from Dalton…” It started out and Blaine looked up, a bit afraid of what Kurt’s first impression about Dalton….. and about him for that matter…… were.
Kurt was fiddling with his hands looking from Blaine to the floor. He could tell what bit he was reading by his facial expressions. Kurt always remembered what he wrote, maybe not word for word but the basics. He hoped Blaine liked what he wrote about Dalton… and what he wrote about him.
Blaine looked up to see Kurt looking at the floor, so he went on nervously. Kurt had written that the Warblers were very good and how he was amazed by how they were treated. “Rockstars.” Blaine smiled, remembering how he used that word to describe them when he met Kurt on the staircase. The paragraph broke again, and the first word was his name. Blaine couldn’t help but look up; he was so nervous all of a sudden to see what Kurt first thought about him.
Kurt was watching Blaine read and saw him smile, he must be reading about the Warblers, he thought to himself. He knew the bit about Blaine was next, he gave Blaine a reassuring smile when he noticed how nervous he looked.
Blaine saw Kurt’s reassuring smile and he smiled back before reluctantly reading about himself. He was completely stunned with what Kurt had written and could not make any facial expression at all. Kurt must have basically melted while writing this part, Blaine thought, judging by the way it was written. He stopped breathing, reading on with a mix of disbelief and happiness even though his face was incapable of showing emotion.
Kurt was worried about Blaine thought, he looked up at his face to see no emotion what so ever. Kurt was confused. Blaine looked as though he’d stopped breathing so he leaned over and poked Blaine’s arm. “Blaine, are you okay?”

Blaine was in a sorry state of shock. How was he ever going to top that, let alone tell Kurt how he felt on that day? He couldn’t let Kurt read his journal…. he didn’t keep one. Blaine felt a poke on his arm and looked up a worried Kurt. Just seeing Kurt after reading what he had written was enough to bring back the emotion to his face, and he leaned back onto his pillow, closing his eyes and breaking out into the hugest grin in the world.
Kurt watched as Blaine leaned back against the pillows his eyes closed with a huge grin on his face. This made Kurt smile, he picked up the journal and turned it to the next day Blaine was mentioned and put it back down on his lap. “Are you okay?” he asked, it still looked like he wasn’t breathing. “Am i going to have to give you the kiss of life?”
Blaine let out a sigh, his first breath since reading about himself. “Please do.” He teased as Kurt flipped to a different page and set the journal back on his lap. Was there more? Blaine wondered what the next time he was mentioned was about, opening his eyes.
Kurt leaned over and gave him a kiss. “Is that better?” he asked before pointing to the page. “This was when you came with me to see him you might like to read that.” Kurt said taking a deep breath.
Blaine nodded when Kurt asked him if he was better. He watched as Kurt pulled farther away and pointed to the journal again. Blaine gave Kurt a worried look and swallowed before beginning to read.
Kurt had remembered this day very well, it was after Karofsky had kissed him and then threatened his life. He was lucky to be friends with Blaine when this was happening, otherwise he wouldn’t have known what to do. He saw Blaine’s worried look and returned a nervous one, what was written about Blaine was very good in fact but what else was written wasn’t so good.
Blaine smiled when he read about how Kurt kept re-reading his “courage” text, but tensed up when Kurt mentioned the kiss. He knew about the incident, but it still made him want to hurl. Nice things were said about him again when he began reading about their confrontation with the bully, but Blaine remembered how scared Kurt was and became worried.

“You see i loved you from the minute i saw you.” Kurt said. He took the journal off Blaine and flicked to the day when he was helping Blaine practice Baby Its Cold Outside and when he told Mr Schuester that he was in love. “I think you might like this page.” he smiled handing it back.
Blaine laughed when he read about them singing together. Apparently, Blaine was being a little flirty, sending Kurt mixed signals. He still couldn’t get over the fact that Kurt had been in love with him for so long. “You honestly told your old glee club teacher that?” Blaine looked up at Kurt in disbelief.
Kurt blushed; he bit his lip and slowly nodded. “Yeah i really did, it was not long after you left the room actually. Is it weird? Have i creeped you out?”
“Not at all….. it’s just weird because Reed questioned me right after I walked out of the room, claiming he saw everything.” Blaine said with a laugh. “So I thought it was ironic that while you were saying that to…,” Blaine paused, looking at the name. “…Mr Schue, Reed was trying to make me realize that I had feelings for you.”
Kurt grinned. “I do love Reed and did he make you realize?”
“Not then….” Blaine said with a shrug. “I didn’t believe you felt anything for me anyways. I just thought you were playing along while we were singing.” Blaine admitted. They were always honest with each other. He finished reading that day and looked up at Kurt with a smile.
“So when did you realize?” He asked taking the journal from him once again, flicking to the page where he had wrote about the Gap, Jeremiah and Blaine. He handed it back smiling at him.
“I’ll tell you when we get there.” Blaine said with a wink before looking back down at the journal. “Blaine. Anderson. Is. So. Confusing.” The page started out. He read on, learning about Kurt’s intense jealousy over Jeremiah. Blaine winced, remembering that day. He looked up at Kurt with apologetic eyes.

“That was not a good day for me.” he smiled. He looked into Blaine’s apologetic eyes. “You are over him right?” he asked just making sure.
“Of course not. It’s not like he completely humiliated me and made me hate my favorite holiday one year.” Blaine teased, grabbing Kurt’s hand and lightly kissing it. “I’m 150% over him, don’t worry.”
He smiled as Blaine lightly kissed his hand. “Hey I’m not worried i was just making sure. Hmm what came next oh yes i know.” he said leaning over to change the page. “Rachel’s party.”
“Oh, good. I don’t remember any of that night… time to learn.” Blaine smiled and stuck his tongue out at Kurt before reading again. He apparently rode with Kurt to the party and had gotten drunk with everyone else pretty quickly. Rachel insisted everyone played spin the bottle, and when Rachel spun, she landed on Blaine. Kurt wanted to murder Rachel at that moment, and Blaine learned the kiss lasted a lot longer than needed. He then sang a duet with Rachel and Kurt said he was in agony at that point. He looked up at Kurt, again looking apologetic.
“Read on…” he said, as Blaine looked back at the journal reading about how Kurt had taken him home, looked after him and then the next day agreed to go on a date with Rachel.
Kurt had carried him up the stairs, something he had already known, and put him to sleep in his bed. Another thing he already knew showed up on the page: Kurt had snuggled with him while he was sleeping. He read about their fight the next day and how Kurt almost immediately regretted it. Blaine remembered the date and thought about it as he read about Kurt’s relief when Blaine said he was 100% gay. He laughed, remembering around that time he was beginning to see Kurt in a different light.
“So now you know how I feel about everything…” Kurt shrugged looking at the floor. He had wrote about the time that Blaine had properly told him how he felt, Pavarotti, that night, but he thought Blaine had read enough. If he wanted to continue then he could. “…how I’ve always felt about you.”

Blaine noticed Kurt didn’t lean forward to change the page, which was his indication Kurt didn’t want him to read anymore. He flipped the pages, beginning to shut the notebook, and saw a picture of the two and a red heart with their names in it. Blaine caught Kurt’s attention and showed him the pages, his eyebrows up. “Where’d you get this picture of us?” Blaine asked about the picture first. He didn’t remember where they took it.
“You know what, i’m not going to tell you where i got this picture because if i remember correctly i asked you the same question earlier when i was driving you here and you didn’t answer me.” He teased, he wasn’t supposed to see that picture, he must think you’re super weird and some kind of stalker, Kurt thought to himself. “You can read on if you wish.”
Blaine pouted. “We’ll now I’m jealous. I want a copy.” Blaine laughed. What? He did want a copy. His fingers flipped to the giant red heart doth both of their names in it, and Blaine realized it was right before the Jeremiah entry. “And what’s this, love?”
“Tell me where you got yours and i’ll tell you where i got mine.” he laughed. “And what’s what?” he asked looking up from the floor to the page. “Oh… that.” he laughed nervously biting his lip.
“Actually, I’m not sure where the picture came from. I just opened my math book one day and it was just…. there.” Blaine laughed, knowing his true story didn’t sound believable. “I’m suspecting Reed put it there to speed up my realization.” He nodded when Kurt looked at the drawing he was holding up. “You never told me what this is.”
“Oh Reed, must make a note of that to thank him one day.” he laughed. “What does it look like? Or have you forgotten your glasses so you can’t see?” he poked his tongue out at him.

Blaine ignored his question and pointed to the drawings in his hands. “You answer my question before I answer another one of yours.” He said, laughing but completely serious.
Kurt sighed. “Oh fine, right what would you like me to answer?” he laughed.
Blaine held up the drawing and pointed to it. “You know what I asked.” He teased.
“I drew that before everything with the Gap, when i thought you liked me. When you said you didn’t i was close to ripping it up.” Kurt said not looking at Blaine.
“When I said I didn’t like you….. when did I say that?” Blaine asked, racking his brain to remember when those words left his lips. After Kurt told him he thought it was him he wanted to ask out, Blaine specifically remembered telling Kurt he really cared about him and didn’t want to screw anything up. When did he say he didn’t like Kurt…. Blaine tried to remember.
“It doesn’t matter now anyway.” he said smiling up at Blaine, he thought he’d change the subject. “Did i ever tell you that i used to be on the Cheerios?”
Blaine’s jaw dropped. “You… you were?” He stuttered in disbelief. “Pleeeeeeaaasssseee tell me you have photographic evidence of your uniform.” Blaine said, laughing and imagining the image in his mind.
“I have photographic evidence and a video, well two videos.” he said, slightly wishing he hadn’t said anything because he was deadly embarrassed but it got them off the other conversation so it was all good.
Blaine put on his puppy dog eyes, hoping his strategy would work. “…… May I see them?” His eyes widened and a small pout formed on his lips.
Kurt could at his puppy eyes and melted, they never failed. “Oh fine, i’ll just have to go and find them” he got up and went to his DVDs and pulled out a disk. “I put them on a disk, well we’ll skip one since you’ve probably already seen it but i’ll show you this one. Its of me and Mercedes, please don’t laugh”
Blaine couldn’t fully comprehend what he was seeing. Kurt was dancing and singing Madonna. In a tight Cherrios outfit. Oh My God. Control yourself, Anderson. Blaine sat and watched, completely in a trance. When it was over he turned to Kurt with a goofy grin.”That….. was….. awesome.” was all he could say.
“Thank you” Kurt said smiling; he’d watched Blaine’s reaction all the way through. “Looks like you enjoyed it” he smiled, Blaine’s hands were crossed in his lap. “It wasn’t as good as it could have been but we did our best”
Blaine nodded. He couldn’t speak after watching that. It just was impossible. He looked down at the fidgeting hands in his lap and tried to find words. “I didn’t know Mercedes could sing that well.” Was all he could come up with. Blaine was flustered.

“Mercedes is incredible, that wasn’t her best” he smiled. He walked to the bed and picked up his journal, he closed it and put it in his dresser. He was going to put it back in its hiding place soon. He walked over to Blaine and put his hands on his face. “What’s wrong baby? You look a little flustered”
Blaine let out a long breath when Kurt touched his face. “You expect me to function properly now that I’ve seen that?” Blaine asked teasingly, their eyes meeting. He put his hand on top of the hand Kurt was resting on his face and smiled. “That’s not Mercedes’ best? Well, I wouldn’t know. I’ve never seen her sing before.”
“Oh come on it wasn’t that good” he smiled looking into Blaine eyes, he could feel a hand sit on top of his. “She’s an incredible singer, me and her we’re divas, but i don’t really hear from her anymore.” he said sadly.
