WAIT? Are you serious? Kurt was having none of this. He stood in shock behind the wall, before frowning. Well, he had to do something, and fast.
He could hear in the tone of Tina’s voice that she was after him, and also how she sat way too close to Blaine.
This is not on. But wasn’t this going to make Blaine mad? How Kurt would practically stalk him and would not trust him at all? He didn’t know what to do.
He just sighed and got up, before leaving the auditorium silently.
“Where have you been?” Kurt said, his arms crossed against chest.
“Sorry, traffic…” Blaine responded, while taking off his coat to put it down on the couch. Kurt sighed, acting nave.
“Okay, well text me next time?” Blaine nodded, before sitting down.
The film was boring, and Kurt was literally falling asleep, but his boyfriend would try to keep him awake, telling him that it might get better.
But he couldn’t stop thinking about this Tina business, it made him worried, with all that Rachel stuff that happened a year before, what if she kissed Blaine? Would he fall in love with her? It was just scary for him to think that he may leave him… for a girl.
“Kurt, are you okay? You look really depressed. Isn’t this movie supposed to be a comedy?” He said, picking the DVD box up to check the ratings and genre.
“I’m fine, I’m just tired.”
“Are you sure?’
“I’m fine.” Kurt said firmly. Blaine looked at him, the tone in his voice was sharp and he seemed angry.
They then watched the end of the film in complete silence, and Blaine left soon after.
The next day, Kurt walked into the choir room to see the usual sight, Finn was eating Rachel’s face, Santana and Brittany were talking, Puck was going over a new ‘master plan’ about how he will spike the next punch bowl at prom, not mentioning the “complete failure” at the end, and there he saw an awful scene: Tina and Blaine.
Both of them sitting next to each over, laughing theirs heads off about probably nothing, and, let’s say, less than 20 centimeters were separating both of their faces.
Kurt tried to hide his bitch glair, before walking up to sit next to his boyfriend.
“Hi, Honey” He said, pausing dramatically between both words to make Tina listen when he said his boyfriends pet name.
Blaine’s face lit up when he saw him.
“I’m sorry for being in the bad mood yesterday; I hope… that I can make it up to you, later.” Kurt said as he let his thumb caress lightly Blaine’s lips, the boy smiled, before kissing Kurt’s fingertips.
Kurt blushed before taking one look at Tina’s face, he should have taken a picture: mouth slightly open, she was frowning, angry looking, jealousy was written all over her face.
“Hello everybody!” Mr.Schuester said as he walked into the room. “So, our two duet partners have been working really hard and I was wondering if they would show us what they came up with yesterday. The floor is yours, Tina & Blaine.”
Both of them nodded, before walking up to the center of the room. Kurt faked a smile.
“It’s still a bit rough but here we go!”
Revenge, Tina thought as she looked at Kurt for a few seconds. She knew what was going on, little Kurtie was scared of losing his BF, well she has Blaine around her finger.
Right through the song she would grab Blaine’s hand, put her arms around him, stare into his sweet, innocent, oblivious eyes, it made Kurt jealous, so, so jealous.
Last night’s coffee trip was brilliant, they had so much in common: their love for top 40 songs, and for the 60’s look.
“Why don’t we go to BreadstiX tomorrow? My treat!” She said while leaving the coffee shop.
“Sure!
Only one thing could have turned out better: He wouldn’t shut up about Kurt, it was like a broken CD, “Oh Kurt did the cutest thing…” and “Sometimes he would…” not forgetting “He’s such an amazing kisser, it’s unbelievable.”.
It pissed her off, she could start talking about a random subject, and he would always bring up this fluffy story about them two.
In the song, Tina played a young girl, hopelessly devoted to an angel, that didn’t want anything to do with her, because she dropped out of her dream to be with him, the angel being Blaine.
It was like a whole story in a song, they were singing but also acting out their parts.
When the song finished, Tina took Blaine’s hand before bowing to the glee club. Kurt crossed his arms, bitch glaring at her, before smiling and clapping to his boyfriend.
“Thank you, you two! Very well done.” Mr.Schue said, before they both moved back to their seats.
The hour was slow and difficult, both of them were trying so desperately to get Blaine’s attention.
When everybody left, Kurt told Blaine that he will meet him in the lockers later, he just wanted to go over this one song he was practicing.
Everybody left, except Mike and Mercedes.
“Kurt, I think something’s happening –…” Mike said as he turned around to face Kurt.
“…between Blaine and Tina? Tina’s probably got a crush on Blaine.” He responded.
“She HAS got a crush on him, she told me this morning.” Mercedes started walking up to Kurt to sit down next to him.
”Hey Mercedes? Who do you find cute in glee club?” Tina said when she appeared next to Mercedes in the morning.
“Hm, well Puck isn’t bad, but I find Sam cute. You?”
“Well, I had a coffee date with a certain someone yesterday. And I like him. A lot.”
“Wait aren’t you going out with Mike? Who is it?”
“A cute guy, wears a lot of hair gel, has an awesome butt… Well I’ve got to go now, see you!”
“So she’s just going to forget me now?” Mike said, worrying, getting up to sit nearer.
“We need to find a plan… something that will make her calm down for a while.” Mercedes crossed her arms, trying to think about the thing that will get her to back off.
“Oh. Oh, I’ve got the plan.” Kurt said, grinning from ear to ear. “Listen up.”
“I’ll have spaghetti, please. Thanks.” Tina said as she passed the menu to the waitress.
“So, the duet is getting better isn’t it? I can’t wait to see how proud Kurt will be.”
“Can you stop it with Kurt? Everything you say is revolving around him. I would like to know more… about you.” Tina said, staring into his eyes. “You’re an awesome guy: you are nice, cute, extremely good looking, yourbuttisreallyreallynice…”
“What?” Blaine answered, not hearing her mumbling.
“Nothing.” She said, getting a bit carried away.
“So how are you and Mike doing?” Blaine smiled, before drinking his coca-cola.
“Not very well, I’ve never been really in love with him, I was lonely, and his abs were there.” She laughed. “I’ve got my eye on somebody new anyway.”
“Oh really? And who’s that?” Blaine said, curiously.
“You will figure out sooner or later.”
As Tina walked down the hallway the next day, Kurt passed her, before turning around.
“Auditorium, now. See you there.” He said, smirking.
“Is this what I think it is, Hummel?”
“You bet!”
