Where-ever he went; whether it was to the shops, school or even just went outside, people would look at him.

He realised Blaine became very protective of him more than he had before, too. The day after the news program announced his ‘condition’ the two walked in to school and Blaine immediately kept at least one eye on Kurt at all times.

That evening Kurt was laying on the couch watching TV when Blaine walked in from work.

“Hey.” he said with a soft smile.

“Hi.” Kurt replied, not taking his eyes off the screen.

“What you watching?” Blaine asked and then looked and saw the same news report that had been playing all week. Blaine walked over to him, grabbed the remote and switched the TV off.

“Hey!” Kurt protested.

“Why are you watching that? All it's gonna do is make you depressed.” Blaine said.

“Well, I already am so it wont do much difference.”

Blaine sighed. “Come on,” he said, playfully hitting Kurt’s feet with the back of his hand.

“What?”

“We’re going out, i'ts Saturday night and you’re depressed, so lets go out” Blaine said.

“Um, Blaine if you haven’t noticed I'm sort of sixteen weeks pregnant, can’t really do much...” Kurt told him as he sat up.

“Well, let's just go out for a drink and we can talk about…everything?” Blaine offered.

“Blaine, you’re eighteen not twenty one!” Kurt reminded him.

Blaine smirked, walking over to his abandoned jacket from the night before and pulled out a card.

“Not according to this.” Blaine said, passing it over to Kurt.

“Where did you get a fake ID?” Kurt asked.

“Knowing Puck has its perks.”

The two were soon outside of the one of few bars in Lima. Of course, more people were staring, but at the moment neither cared.

Kurt went to sit at the table they found while Blaine went to order some drinks.

When he returned he got Kurt water and a Jack Daniels with coke for himself.

Blaine took a sip and then spoke, “You know, regardless of what other people think... I don’t think that this is weird. I think it’s a miracle.”

Kurt smiled softly. “Well, I guess that’s a good thing. But don’t worry, I already knew that. However, I do have a question for you...”

“Ask away.”

“In about a month, I have another doctors appointment, but this time I can find out the gender. Do you want to? Or, we can-you know make a decision when we’re there.”

Blaine had a look of shock in his eyes. "Y-you want me to go with you?” he asked.

“Of course I do, you are the father after all.” Kurt said with a smirk.

Blaine smiled.

Kurt took a sip of the water before Blaine asked another question.

“What do you want it to be? As in boy or girl.” Blaine asked.

“I don’t know really. I don’t think I mind, what about you?”

“Hmm…probably the same.” Blaine confessed “But what about…you know, names?”

“Do you have any ideas?” Kurt asked.

“A few, you?”

“Some, but you first.”

“Okay. Well, for a girl I was thinking Lisa, it means God’s promise? I know neither of us are really religious.. but my grandmother, who took care of me a lot was. I kind of wanna you know, have her in it somehow," Blaine swallowed. "Actually, d-don’t worry it's stupid.."

“No no, it's not stupid at all.” Kurt replied with a smile. “And for a boy?”

“Austin? Again with my grandmother, she lived in Austin, Texas.” Blaine explained.

“It's sweet you care so much about her.” Kurt cooed.

“Well, it was only her who would let me be.” Blaine said, then took another sip of his drink. He cleared his throat then asked: “And you’re names?”

“Well, for a girl I like Veronica. It means wonderful, beautiful, adventurous and hilarious girl, and we all need that in life.” Kurt said with a smile.

“And a boy?”

“Jonas,” Kurt answered simply. “I just love the name.”

“Okay... so any middle names?”

“Well for mine I like Veronica Koreen, and for Jonas I like Jonas Everett. And yours?”

“Lisa Kathy and Austin Lewis.” Blaine said.

“Okay, so we have our names.” Kurt said with another smile “That was easy.”

Okay, he could do this. Though maybe they wouldn’t mind if he rearranged another meeting…No, this had to happen now!

An hour or so after him and Blaine were at the bar, he got a call from Finn, telling him that Burt wanted to speak with him. Of course, Kurt was nervous. Blaine had offered to come but Kurt rejected the offer, he needed to speak with his dad.

So here he was, outside of the place that he used to call home. Obviously nothing had changed, but Kurt still felt like it was different. He hoped this wasn’t about moving back in; sure he still loved his family like before all of this had happened, but weirdly enough…he liked-no, loved living with Blaine. They rarely saw eye to eye but they still cared for each other, and it was only fair that Blaine should know what was happening with his child.

Kurt let out a breath of air, which you could still see in the cold 2nd of February air and slowly made his way to the front door. As he walked he pulled his unbuttoned coat over his pregnant belly for more warmth. His cold knuckles soon knocked on the wooden door and Kurt waited.

Luckily, he didn’t have to wait long before the door swung open to revile Finn standing there.

“Hey bro!” Finn said.

“Hi..” Kurt said simply as Finn let him in to the house.

“Burt will be happy you came, and mom too, she’s been wanting to see you since what happened at Christmas.” Kurt raised a eyebrow so Finn explained, "She told us that you two ran into each other?”

“Oh right…” Kurt said, as he took off his coat.

“But they're in the living room,” Finn picked up his coat. “I’m going out with Rachel, see you later.” Then he was gone. Kurt was sure he only left so he wouldn’t have to be around since although he’d only been in the house a few minutes, he could already feel the awkwardness.

“Kurt! Can you come through please?” He heard the voice of Carole call him through to the living room. Kurt made his way in, hoping it not to be as bad as he thought it would be.
