Kurt felt a shot of envy run through him as he watched yet another engagement happen next to him. It wasn’t his day. Kurt was wishing for Blaine to pop the question for months now. Kurt even had a stash of wedding magazines under his bed. He planned to say he saved it from Carole’s wedding and Rachel’s (almost) wedding if Blaine ever found it. But each passing day, Kurt started playing with his ring finger wishing that he had an engagement ring around it. Kurt walked through the apartment door he shared with Blaine. His eyes popped wide open when a beautiful dinner was set up with candles and roses. “Blaine, what’s this?” Kurt asked. “A special occasion. Why don’t you sit down?” Blaine said, smiling as if he had surprise up his sleeve. Kurt grinned and nervously played with his ring finger today. Maybe today would be Kurt’s day after all.
