A FEW MONTHS LATER

Kurt took a step back, gazing at the organized glory that was now his bathroom counter. It hadn't been easy, but he had finally managed to organize everything in a cohesive manner without anything seeming overcrowded or tacky looking.

He let out a breath and smiled, leaving the bathroom. The entire apartment was spotless. He couldn't help but be proud of his handiwork. After all, Blaine's apartment wasn't huge, and fitting everything that both of them owned in there was no easy task.

But oh so worth it, Kurt thought as he plopped down on the couch.

In the past few months, Kurt's things had slowly begun accumulating in Blaine's apartment. When his lease had come up and both men realized that he spent just as much time in Blaine's apartment as his own, Blaine had very bashfully asked Kurt to move in. Kurt smiled as he remembered the way Blaine had fumbled over words as his cheeks tinted pink. Kurt just leaned in and kissed him and said, "I'd love to."

Today would be the first day of them officially living together. It had only been a few months, but they both felt as though it was the right time. Besides, Kurt was ready to be out of that old apartment. Any reminder of Aidan was unwelcome.

Kurt checked the time on his phone. Blaine would be home any minute. He got up, went into Blaine's bedroom—their bedroom, he mentally corrected—and grabbed a box he had brought over when he moved all of his things. The box was white with a silver bow across the top. It looked classy, if Kurt did say so himself. He brought it out to the living room, set it down on the coffee table before picking up the phone and meandering into the kitchen.

He had only just begun dialing when the door opened. "Honey, I'm home!" Blaine practically sang, eliciting a grin and an eye roll from Kurt.

"Did you seriously just say that?" he asked, though he was smiling. He put the phone down and made his way over to Blaine.

They met in the middle. Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurt's waist while Kurt's hands rested around his shoulders. "Oh, c'mon, it's fun. We can be all domestic now," he added with a grin.

"Oh boy, just what I've always wanted," Kurt teased. Secretly, they both knew that was actually true.

"But really, I am excited," Blaine continued, pecking Kurt on the lips.

"As you should be." Kurt kissed him back.

The little chaste kiss turned into a couple little chaste kisses, and then longer chaste kisses, and then some not so chaste kisses. Before they could get too far, though, Kurt pulled back. "Wait a sec."

Blaine groaned. "KUUuuurt..."

"No this is a good thing, I promise!" Kurt bounced away into the living room and picked up the box. "I thought I'd give you something, since we're moving in together and all."

Blaine's eyebrows shot up. "Kurt, if I would have known you were getting me something I would have—"

"Oh, don't worry about it. I would have given this to you anyway." He handed the box to Blaine. "Open it up."

Blaine lifted the lid off. "Oh boy, it's just what I've always wanted! Tissue paper!"

Kurt smacked his arm.

Blaine laughed at his own joke before taking whatever it was out of the tissue paper. He found himself holding a ridiculously nice brown leather jacket. He looked at it at all angles, loving every inch of it. "Kurt, this is great! I love it!" He grinned up at him. "Is it one of yours?"

Kurt smirked. "Of course it is. Look at it. It's flawless."

"That it is."

Kurt watched him a moment before nudging him gently. "Look under the collar."

Blaine gave him a questioning look but did as he was told. He flipped the collar up and his eyes went wide. "Kurt... Is that...?"

Kurt laughed. "Yes."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes."

"You made a polka dot jacket!!" Blaine jumped up and down, clutching the jacket. Kurt couldn't help but laugh. His boyfriend could be such a five year-old sometimes.

"Well, only the lining, but yes. I made it polka dot just for you. Clearly I love you too much."

Blaine set the jacket down and melted into Kurt's arms. "I love it." Kiss. "I love you." Kiss. "And it never ceases to amaze me how talented you are." Kiss kiss.

"I tend to have that effect on people." Kurt teased. "It doesn't even go on the line until next week, so you will be the only person on the planet wearing it."

"Well, I would be if it wasn't still eighty degrees outside."

"So you'll be the only person on the planet with it in your closet."

"I think I can live with that."

Kurt sighed, bringing their foreheads together. The past few months had been some of the greatest in his whole life. "You make me so happy."

Blaine smiled. "You make me happy, too." They kissed again, and this one lingered. "You know what would make me even happier?" he asked, voice lowering.

Kurt hummed. "Some Chinese food?"

Blaine brought his head away from Kurt to look him in the eyes. "Actually, that does sound fantastic."

Kurt laughed. "I was just about to order when you got home." He started walking towards the kitchen, making his way back to his phone.

"See? This is why I love you."

"Oh really? My take-out telepathy is my appeal? Noted."

Blaine chuckled as he shook his head. He went into the kitchen and wrapped his arms around Kurt's waist from behind. "Among other things."

Kurt hummed before the person on the other line picked up. They swayed as he ordered, Blaine peppering his back with the occasional kiss.

Neither knew that the other was thinking Y'know, if the rest of my life was just like this, I don't think I'd mind at all.
