WITD CHP 6:

Blaine woke up to a lot of noise in his kitchen. He looked at his alarm clock. 8:49 AM. Blaine threw the blanket off him, and automatically felt cold air chill him. New York is facing its coldest winter for the last 3 years, which is odd since before this week, it didnt even feel like winter. Blaine got his robe and wrapped himself up tightly. He walked towards the source of noise. He saw Kurt in his kitchen, putting different sources of fruits and vegetables in his blender. Blaine gave Kurt a spare key, but he didnt think he would actually use it. He was talking into his phone. "Okay and then how much spinach again?" He asked, his phone tucked into his shoulder and ear. He saw Blaine and gave him a quick smile but then went back to whatever he was doing. "No, you said 3 cups of spinach not 2... I dont know, someone who likes spinach... Ugh, I put 3 cups in. Could I take some out?... Well how do I do that?... Okay then I guess hes getting extra spinach... I dont know..." He looked at Blaine. "Hey Blaine do you like spinach?" Blaine shrugged. "Uh... I guess... May I ask what your doing? I mean, Im not angry or anything its just... Out of your nature I guess?"

"Hey Caroline I have to go. Thanks for the recipe, Im sure hell love it. Yeah, thanks. Okay bye." He hung up and put his phone on he counter. He put the top on the blender and turned it on. After the mixture was a liquid consistency, Kurt turned the blender off. "Well, I have a pregnant friend, and she said theres this smoothie thats great for a developing baby. So I thought Id stop by and make it for you. For breakfast." He said pouring Blaine a cup. He handed it to Blaine. He sniffed it. God it smelled terrible.

"Um... I appreciate that Kurt, but Im in my 7th week which is when being hungry really becomes a full job. Im going to need a little more than a smoothie for breakfast." Blaine said trying to be as polite as possible.

"I read that online so," Kurt grabbed a bag from the kitchen. "Its McDonalds. Im smart, right?" Kurt said putting the bag on the counter in front of Blaine. "But just try the smoothie. Its good for morning sickness too."

Blaine sighed. He took a gulp of the smelly drink. Quite surprisingly it tasted amazing. Like blueberries and strawberries. "See? Its good right? Yeah... I knew it."

Blaine took small sips as he sat down at the table. Kurt brought the McDonalds bag to him and sat opposite of him. Blaine got out his pancakes and looked up at Kurt. "Do you want some?"

Kurt shook his head. "No, I have big moral problems with taking food from someone pregnant. Thanks."

Blaine didnt bargain. He attacked his food, again, a little too scary for me to describe. Kurt watched him eating, kind of fascinated by the way someone could eat so fast. After Blaine had finished they just sat there, not talking. Blaine rubbed his aching feet. "Are you okay?" Kurt asked noticing him.

"Yeah. Its just your feet usually start swelling  at the 7th week and I didnt get new shoes yet. So, theyve been killing me."

Kurt didnt say anything for a while. He gave a long sigh. He patted his thigh. Blaine was confused. "Put your foot on my thigh." Blaine really didnt know how to respond. But his feet hurt terribly... A little hesitant, he put his foot on Kurts warm thigh. Kurt brushed some of the dirt off with a napkin. He started massaging his foot with his thumbs. Rubbing small circles on his heels, and using his knuckle to knead. Blaine closed his eyes. Kurt was good at massaging feet. Great. He had like these really soft magical appendages.

"Open your eyes. Im not fornicating you."

Blaine opened his eyes. Kurt was smiling, and it was kind of weird seeing him smile. The last time he remembered seeing him smiling he was also about to put a baby in his stomach. Kurt dropped his foot on the ground and picked up Blaines other foot. He massaged Blaines feet for a good while before he got a text. He stopped massaging to read it. "Oh, its my shift." He dropped Blaines foot, and they felt a little better but automatically starting hurting again. "Okay. Well, I hope you liked the smoothie. Ill probably be back, but um... I dont know, Ill have to go back to the old house or I lose the benefits so, I dont know.." Kurt got up and straightened his clothes. He dug into his pocket and got a tube of eyeliner. He started applying it as fast as he could and walked out the door. "Bye." Kurt said. "OH WAIT KURT!" Blaine called out. Kurt stuck his head in the door. "Yeah?" Blaine got up from his seat and walked to the closet. "Take a jacket." He handed Kurt one of his pea coats ,a black one so it matched the rest of him. Kurt smiled. He took the coat and put it on. He left without another word. Blaine sat back down, looking at the door. He didnt like knowing that the father of his child, is out selling himself. But Blaine knows that some people choose to break their own hearts, just so no one else can do it for them. But he didnt want it to be Kurt. He wanted Kurt to never feel the pain, Blaine was so used to.

Blaine doesnt expect anything else from Kurt at this point. He was content with having him around the baby. And him being surprisingly kind to Blaine. He just doesnt want him to leave. He would be lying if he said he didnt want him to stop prostituting. But Blaine knew if he started expecting bigger and bolder things out of Kurt he would only be disappointed.

Blaine was laying on the couch reading a magazines, when he heard a soft knock at the door and then the door opened. Kurt walked in, his pea coat a little longer than his shorts, giving him this flattering look. Kurt smiled at Blaine and set his keys down in the counter. "Hey." Kurt said casually. Blaine smiled up from his magazine. Kurt walked over to the couch, and moved Blaines legs to sit down, but put them back on his legs, so Blaine didnt have to move. Kurt gave a long satisfied sigh. "So, uh... How was work?" Blaine asked trying to make conversation.

"Um... Pretty good. I got a good lump of cash from this guy who smells like need jerky. A good amount from this at her rich white guy. He has kids so I was a little hesitant but... Money is money." Kurt said, raising an eyebrow at his own haughty ways. Blaine cleared his throat and put his magazine down on the coffee table. "Speaking of kids. Yours has been growing. You can feel the little sucker. He isnt more than the size of a blueberry, but since Im a man and there arent any ovaries to cover the little guy, you can feel him. Wanna feel?" Blaine asked, trying not to be awkward. Kurt thought about it for a second. "Id really love to."

Kurt got up from the couch and kneeled in front of Blaine, who was still sitting. He pulled his shirt up, and took Kurts fingers and started guiding them near the growing embryo. He moved around like this for a while trying to find the little bastard, but somewhere near his crotch and stomach there was this tiny little lump. Kurt felt it and gasped. He look at his fingers, currently touching his own little baby. He looked at it aghast, at the miracle he could call his. Small tears welled in his eyes. "Hes so small. And so perfect." Kurt choked out. He looked up at Blaine and smiled. Blaine smiled back. They stared into each others eyes for a while, the hazel mixing with the blue. Blaine started blushing and looked away, and Kurt moved his hand like he was being electrocuted. Kurt stood up. "Um... Well. I think maybe I should get back to he old whore house. My friend Caroline needs me. Ill see you soon." Kurt got his keys back. "Uh... Bye." Kurt left, his jacket still on. Blaine sighed. God this was going to be a long 8 months...
