Sup?
Nothing? Yeah, not too much here either to tell you the absolute truth. I'm just sitting here going through applications for the store. I got booted up to Assistant Manager, so that's cool. It's a raise in pay, but I do work more. It's not that bad now, but it will be a bother when school starts. Oh well, it's just one more year. God, one more year of school, that's nuts. Not just that, it's scary that school starts so soon. Where did my summer go? If you took it Journal, I'd very much like it back please. I'll make you a sundae I want it back that much. Anyway, yeah. Summer is fast. I didn't even do anything cool yet. Didn't go on any roller coasters, didn't do any touristy things. You know what? I didn't even get a sunburnt yet. That's how boring this summer is for me. Anyway, I'll keep it short today Journal. I've got to go make some interview calls for the store, you know, assistant manager things.
Toodles!

Hi,
Time for an update, I suppose. I've been really busy, journal. This city is so fast paced; I'm not used to it yet. Don't get me wrong, I love it and all, but I think I am going through my first stage of living on my own: Homesickness. I miss my dad, and I miss Lima. That was weird to write... I miss Lima. I'm being sincere too, so that's really whacked. I miss the security of it. Everyone knew my name, and for the most part treated me with respect. New Yorkers are ruthless! One actually pushed me out of the way today, just so that he could get his coffee order in before me! I fell on the floor, it was so embarrassing. No one would ever do that to me in Lima. Maybe I'm just having one of those days, Journal. Let's see, that whole incident happened, my alarm clock didn't go off this morning so I missed the Yoga class that I signed up for, I dropped 20 dollars on the subway. Just an all-around terrible day. I can't even think of anything that went good. Oh wait, there is something. I finally got a job interview. It's at this little bookstore a few blocks down called The Nook. It's a cute place, and I kind of hope I get it. It would be nice to have something meaningful to do each day, not to mention a source of income. Whoops, phone's ringing. Gotta go!
