Hey there!

Looks like I've managed to write another day. Continuity you could say. I guess I shouldn't get so excited. It's only the second day I've ever written in you. Today was a pretty productive day though. I went to Central Park with Rachel. We hadn't been there since the entire glee club was here last year for Nationals. It was beautiful day, the sun was shining, birds were singing. Almost like a musical. Almost. I also passed in resumes at a couple of places. Rachel and I scoped out the places that looked the cutest, and also had the cutest people working. Let's see. I went to this Frozen Yogurt place downtown, and then to a coffee shop just down the street, and the a little bookstore that's a few blocks down and then to an antique furniture store literally right next door. They are all close, because I am still figuring out how to maneuver myself around this city. Not that I mind it at all though. This city is (so far) everything I've ever dreamed it would be. Granted I always thought that I'd be here studying to star on Broadway. But soon enough, I suppose. Right now the goal is to get a job and be able to afford my rent here. Rachel can afford most of it on her student loans, but as I told her many times, I want to help. I don't want handouts. Especially while I'm in New York. New York is a place where I finally get to be me, both inside and out.

Ta ta for now!

Whaddup Journal?

Today I had a day off from work, and it was nice. I spent the day with Dad. He took me to Staten Island for a bit. You know, I've never been there. I've never been on that ferry or anything, and I have lived here all my life! Crazy huh? I thought it was. Anyway, it was nice. Real nice. We kind of did the typical father-son things. Got ice cream, went to all the tourist trap types of places. I got a kick-ass necklace, with some sort of shell on it. I like it a lot, and I think I'll probably wear it tomorrow. Yeah, it was nice, having a day off and spending it with dear old dad. Back to the grind tomorrow though. I probably didn't miss much excitement. I mean, what's so exciting about a little run-down bookstore, huh? God this is boring, what I'm writing. BANG CRASH BOOM! SUPERCALIFRAGALISTICEXPEALIDOTIOUS! THIS IS SPARTA! There, was that more exciting? I hope so. Well, I am going to go. Hopefully I have more to talk about tomorrow.

Later Gator,

Blaine.
