Right now, however, he had bigger problems to worry about. Although, he wasn't really sure on what was going on at the moment. He had an enraged Kurt trying to get at him, fists flying and legs kicking out towards him, while the rest of New Directions tried their best to hold him back. The Warblers were quickly rushing to keep Blaine protected and Sebastian was all over him, no doubt trying to infuriate Kurt. The whole scene was taking place backstage at Sectionals, in the green room where the two teams had come in contact right before New Directions was supposed to take the stage.

"I trusted you!" Kurt shrieked at Blaine as tears streamed down his cheeks, eyes blown wide with pure, unadulterated rage. "I gave you everything, and for what? For you to go and betray me for your precious fucking Warblers?"

The way Kurt emphasized his words with such passion, such force and fury, only helped in adding to Blaine's growing guilt. He never meant to hurt Kurt like this, not by a long shot.

"Get over it, gay face." Sebastian sneered and wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck possessively. Blaine knew Sebastian was just trying to push Kurt's buttons. "He chose us, not you. Just move on with your pointless life-"

"You're nothing but some cheap whore!" Kurt snarled, but it was clear that the fight in him was slowly deteriorating. "You and the rest of your goddamn pathetic group deserve to rot in hell-"

"Kurt!" Finn shouted over the bickering, pulling Kurt close to his chest while the brunette continued to thrash around. He cupped Kurt's face gently and made sure to look him dead in the eye, hoping to calm him down."They're not worth it, alright? Right now, you need to focus on the performance - put all of your feelings into it and prove just how amazing you are, bro. I know you can do it."

Finn's voice had grown soft, probably due to the fact that Kurt turned silent and calmed down considerably. The countertenor stood in place for a few brief moments before shoving away from his step-brother, obviously still upset but trying to keep his emotions in check until their performance. He turned to give Blaine one final look, eyes filled with resentment and animosity, and promptly stormed out of the green room, followed by the rest of New Directions, who in turn glared at the Warbler and exchanged a few harsh words before they left.

"Public school freaks," Sebastian spat as he released Blaine from his hold. "Can you believe the nerve of them?"

Blaine just stared at the open door, wishing he could run after Kurt and make things better between them. He wanted so desperately to fix everything, because the broken boy he'd tried so hard to help heal was crumbling in front of his very eyes.
