"you said!" Liza blurted.
"I know I did, but I didn't say that we would do it today." Blaine sighed and reached to kiss his daughter.
"now papa has to go to work so hurry up so I can take you both to school." Blaine added as he reached for his coffee to take a sip. He had lots to do at the studio plus he needed to get Liza to first grade and Chris to preschool. Kurt would be there to pick them up. It was agreed to before he even started pre K. Coming down the stairs Kurt sighed as he unlocked the gate closing it after coming down the last step. Hearing the foot steps Noel came running in from playing with his toys in the entry way. Seeing his father and ran up and about knocked him over.
"...oof!" Kurt replied as he felt his legs shake from the force of his son.
No, careful please!" Blaine instructed having realized he was using the name his older kids called him because they couldn't pronounce Noel.
"Eat daddy eat!" the two year old persisted. Kurt was trying to ween his son to a sippy cup but was not having much luck.
"daddy is sore today you have to use a sippy cup." he sighed and pulled one out of the fridge that had been filled with breast milk. Kurt's chest was still hurting from the accident and since then he figured it would be a good time to ween him.
"no, eat daddy!" he pulled on his fathers pants trying to get him to say yes.
"take this or nothing at all." Kurt sighed handing his son the cup. Picking him up he sat him in his high chair shifting his weight to go quickly talk with Blaine in the hall.
"We told Liza we would come to her tea party." he sighed looking at Kurt. Meanwhile the kids sat at the table eating. Liza was mad.
"it's your fault!" she cried out.
"nu-uh!" he yelled back his finger went out to point at her knocking over his sister milk all over her freshly picked outfit. She.was.mad.
"daddy!" she called out. She was definitely Kurt's daughter crying over spilled milk on her nice new skirt.
"shut up stupid!" Liza huffed at her brother.
"your stupid!" Chris called back.
"stupid, stupid, stupid." Noel laughed not really sure what was going on but he liked that word. Kurt and Blaine had been talking about having the tea party tomorrow when their conversation had been cut short by the yelling. Running in the two of them found Chris and Liza yelling back and forth at each other. Chris just saying things that sounded mean, he wasn't really good in that department.
"you poop head!" he shouted.
"hey, hey, hey!" Blaine tried to stop them.
"Christopher Paul, get up now and go sit in the time away chair!" he moaned pausing slightly.
"Now! Before I take something away." Blaine growled pointing to the chair. They hated calling it the time out chair. It seemed to make it have a bad name.
"Elizabeth go up and change. You need to apologize to your brother when you come back." Kurt sighed pointing to the stairs. Both parents were upset at the situation. Noel just sat back and watched.
"papa stupid poop head." he giggled. Kurt gave him his death glair.
"use those words again and I will, and I mean it, will send you to the chair." Kurt groaned his face was red from frustration. Noel's face changed when he saw his father really meant what he said. Sighing Liza came down the stairs making sure she got the gate or she'd be in even more trouble.
"Christopher!" Blaine called. The little curly head boy came running from the chair.
"elizabeth." Blaine paused.
"sorry CP." she sighed slightly looking at him.
"I'm sorry too." Chris sighed as well his eyes trailed from his sister.
"ok good. We have progress." Blaine chuckled slightly.
"now let's go. We are already late, you don't need to be late to school." he explained reaching to kiss Kurt then kiss Noel who was scarfing down his bottle.
"bye daddy!"Liza smiled perking up once again.
"bye baby, daddy will be there to pick you guys up so papa can work." he smiled and pushed them to the car. And off to school and work they went.
Comments
This was really good. It was nice to see them try to settle an argument between the kids while also trying to deal with Noel. I am curious as to what the accident was that made Kurt sore, I don't remember it from the other posts.
I'm working on that chapter now. Just taking me a while.
cute! the domesticity is so endearing! i have a request. can you write something about Blaine being angry at Kurt for a silly reason, the kind of adorable anger he showed during Kurt's 'i have nothing' performance.. And Kurt trying to get him to smile in an equally adorable way, in which he could involve all or one of the kids too..Thank you in advance if you consider this request..
