Blaine rang his hands nervously in his lap as they made the ride to his parents' house. It had been a year since he had been home and he honestly was happy to be going, he just wasn't sure what they would think about him and Kurt being back together. They had been there for him the summer of the break up and he knew they hated what they saw. He hated what he saw. But now he was happy. Happier than he had ever been with Daniel.
Kurt reached over and took a hold of his hand. "It'll be fine."
"I know, they'll love you just like they did before, I'm just," He sighed. "I don't know."
"I understand. But I'm telling you, everything will be okay. Great even."
Blaine nodded as they turned into the Anderson's drive way. They got out of the car together and walked hand in hand to the front door. A few knocks later Blaine's mom was opening the door.
"Blaine sweetie it's so good to see you." She said excitedly pulling him into a hug. As she pulled back, her gaze landed on Kurt and a huge smile grew on her face. "Kurt?"
"Uh, Hi." He replayed, giving a short awkward wave.
Mrs. Anderson gasped. "Honey! It's so good to see you!!" She pulled him into a hug, keeping him there for longer than expected. She pulled back just a little resting her hands on his face. "Wow, you look great. How have you been?"
"Really great, thanks. How about you?"
"Good sweetie good. Oh! Let's go in the house, your father must be wondering where we are."
Blaine nodded, grabbing the suitcases and heading into the house behind his mom and Kurt, who were chatting and smiling. He didn't know what he was expecting, but this was better than he could have ever imagined.
When he had set down the bags, he looked up to see his father hugging Kurt with a large smile on his face. Kurt was laughing and was hugging him back. Blaine couldn't help the large grin that spread across his face. Even his dad was happy to see Kurt.
"Blaine! Get over here and join this hug fest."
He just laughed and went to hug his dad and Kurt, his mom joining in a few seconds later. This was how it was supposed to feel. This was his family, and he would do anything to keep it that way.

Blaine laid still in the warm bed of his childhood home, thinking. Kurt was beside him, sleeping presumably, the room as dark as it was outside.
"I can hear you thinking." Kurt said quietly, surprising Blaine.
"I thought you were sleeping."
"No, just resting. What's on your mind?" He asked, turning on his side to face Blaine.
Blaine mirrored his position and placed his hand on Kurt's hip. "You are."
Even in the dark Blaine could see Kurt blush. "Oh, well what about me?"
Blaine only hesitated for a moment. He didn't know if it was too soon to say those three words, but it was true and he wanted Kurt to know how he felt. "That I love you and I can't wait to see what comes of our future."
Kurt's face turned into a surprised expression, then into a large smile. "Blaine! I love you too!" With that he leaned and kissed Blaine hard on the mouth.
Blaine giggled and pulled Kurt closer. He let out a content sigh. "I'm so happy right now."
Kurt smiled against his neck, snuggling even closer. "Me too Blaine. I'm so happy we met again at the coffee shop."
"As am I babe, as am I."
They laid quietly together, just wrapped in one another, when Kurt whispered quietly into the air. "Do you think this is it?"
Blaine looked down to see Kurt staring at him with large blue orbs. "Yea," he nodded. "I'm not letting you go again Kurt."
Kurt smiled against his shoulder. "Good, because I'm don't want to be."
