Kurt walked out of the hospital and went into his bag for his keys when he remembered he didn't drive himself.

"Shit." Kurt said pulling his phone out.

"Hello?" Finn answered

"Hey how far away are you?" Kurt asked embarrassed.

"Like five minutes we stopped for some coffee, why?" Finn asked

"Your brother is an idiot. I completely forgot I drove to Blaine's and rode with him and his parents. Could you come back to this hospital and pick me up and drop me at Blaine's so I can get my car?" Kurt asked

"Sure dude, want me to get you your regular coffee while I am here?" Finn asked

"No thanks, it's too late for coffee." Kurt said ignoring the dude comment only for the fact that his brother had to come get him and drive him to get his car.

"K see you in a few minutes." Finn said before hanging up.

Kurt stood outside and wrapped his scarf around him not wanting to go back inside still embarrassed that he forgot he didn't drive here. 7 minutes later Finn drove up in Rachel's car and they drove in almost silence until the got to Blaine's house to pick up Kurt's car.

The next few days went by pretty quickly. Blaine didn't have to go to school but he wanted to, he missed his friends and missed seeing Kurt every day. Since Blaine still couldn't drive and he didn't live in the district Kurt picked him up and dropped him off for school every day. Everyone welcomed him back with open arms and Puck even apologized for being rude to him when he found out that he had told Sebastian about MJ. The next thing they knew it was Wednesday and Kurt was driving them back to the hospital for the check up. There were no panic attacks this time and Kurt was grateful. He knew Blaine still hadn't talked to his dad but he would in time.

"Mr. Anderson?" A female nurse called from the desk.

"Come with me." Blaine said pulling Kurt with him.

"Right this way." The woman led them to an exam room.

"Are you nervous?" Kurt asked

"Not really. I haven't even taken any pain meds in almost 36 hours it kind of hurts but it is more like a dull throb rather than actual pain. Plus I hate the way the pain meds make me feel so I'd rather not take them." Blaine said

"You are hilarious on pain meds; it's like when you are drunk. This whole other Blaine comes out to play and he is a huge dork." Kurt said

"Don't lie you love my inner dork." Blaine said

"I do, I love every aspect of you." Kurt said

There was a knock on the door before the Dr. came in.

"Hello Mr. Anderson and Mr.?" The doctor said looking at Kurt.

"Hummel, Kurt Hummel." Kurt said

"I see and you are?" The Dr. said looking at their clasped hands.

"Kurt's my boyfriend, he drove me today, and my parents are busy with work and meetings." Blaine said

"I see, well your previous Doctor, Dr. Mitchell got pulled to do an emergency surgery so I am Dr. Conroy and will be examining your eye today. Do you have any pain?" Dr. Conroy asked

"Not really, it's more like dull throb then pain; it's more obnoxious then painful." Blaine said

"When is the last time you took any pain medication?" He asked

"Almost 36 hours ago." Blaine said

"Have you taken the eye patch off at all?" He asked

"Only to change the gauze after a shower and in the morning like I was told." Blaine said

"When you have changed the gauze has there been any kind of discharge?" The doctor said

"No." Blaine said as both he and Kurt shivered in disgust.

The doctor smiled at them

"Ok then hop up on the table I am going to take the gauze and eye patch off and take a look, if I like the way it looks you can get rid of it all together." The doctor said

Dr. Conroy pulled the eye patch off and peeled the gauze off and got out his light and looked at Blaine's eye. There were a lot of hums and I see, and good, and telling Blaine to look in certain directions before he stepped back and wrote in his chart book.

"Your eye looks wonderful, it has healed very nicely. You are probably going to have some light sensitivity and might get a little dizzy or headaches as your brain gets used to seeing with two eyes again but other than that you are fine. I would suggest wearing sunglasses for a few days and still refrain from any strenuous activity. Just listen to your body it will tell you if you shouldn't be doing anything." The Dr. said

"So, Valentine's Day is next week." Blaine started to ask them stopped as he looked at Kurt who was as red as a tomato.

"Yes, Mr. Anderson. Like I said listen to your body." The Doctor said smirking at the two blushing boys.

"Awesome." Blaine said

"You are good to go now. If you have any problems call the hospital and we can make another appointment." The Dr. said dismissing the two boys.

Blaine threw on his bright yellow sunglasses and grabbed Kurt's hand as they walked back out.

"I cannot believe you just asked the Dr. if we could have sex!" Kurt exclaimed when they got in the car.

"What? I want to be able to show my boyfriend how much I love him and how much he means to me on our first Valentine's day together as a couple." Blaine said

"You are so lucky you are so adorable." Kurt said putting his seat belt on and glaring at Blaine to do the same.

"So where are we going? My house or yours?" Kurt asked

"Let's go to yours, we are going to be at my house practically the whole weekend. We can cook dinner for your Dad and Carole." Blaine said

"I love that you love my family so much." Kurt said putting the car in drive.

When they got to Kurt's house no one was home. He assumed Finn was out with Rachel somewhere and his dad and Carole wouldn't be home from work until around 7pm so they had a few hours to hang out and cook dinner.

"So what should we cook for dinner?" Blaine asked

"Let me call Finn first and see if Rachel is coming over first." Kurt said

Kurt pulled out his phone and called is brother.

'Hello?'

"Hey Finn I'm going to get started on dinner soon, are you going to be home for dinner and if you are is Rachel coming?" Kurt said

'Yea I'll be home, Rachel won't be her dads are taking her shopping.'

"Ok be home by 7." Kurt said hanging up the phone.

"So I take it Finn and Rachel are doing pretty well then? I haven't heard of any fights lately. I think it has got to be a record." Blaine said sitting down on the couch.

Kurt turned pale white. He had totally forgotten he had never told Blaine about Finn and Rachel's engagement. Granted he had only known since Sunday but still, as he thought about it he didn't really want to tell Blaine himself, afraid he might get a silly idea.

"Why do you look like you've just seen a ghost?" Blaine asked

"I forgot to tell you something." Kurt said sitting next to Blaine on the couch running his hands through his perfect hair.

"What?" Blaine asked nervously wondering what could have happened.

"Finn proposed to Rachel, she said yes." Kurt said slowly looking at Blaine trying to gauge his reaction.

"What! We are in high school." Blaine said his face showing shock and almost a little bit of disgust.

"Oh thank god." Kurt said sighing and relaxing into the couch.

"Why oh thank god?" Blaine asked raising his eyebrow at Kurt.

"The other day when we were talking about always being there for each other you said through sickness and in health, and then hearing about Finn and Rachel, I was afraid if I told you that you would get an idea. Not that I don't love you, because I do, and one day in the not so soon but not so far away future I do want to marry you, but I was afraid you would get some crazy idea in your head to propose that we get married like soon. Don't get upset." Kurt said blushing

"Babe, we are on the same page. I love you too and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. But I am in no rush to define that with a piece of paper. Honestly, I think Rachel and Finn are being stupid. They are too young. They have an off again on again relationship. They are not mature enough for marriage. I don't even think they are mature enough for engagement." Blaine said taking the older boys hand in his.

"I am so glad we are on the same page. I love my cute little paper promise ring but that is enough for me. I think Finn giving her a promise ring would be fine, but proposing is too much. They are going to regret it. As much as I love my brother and I love Rachel, and as much as I want them to be happy together if that is what they want, if they get married now I don't think it is going to last. Rachel is too high strung. They need to live together before they make that leap. Finn needs to know what he is going to get himself into. He is a slob and Rachel is borderline OCD." Kurt said pulling Blaine to the kitchen to start on dinner.

"Do your Dad and Carole know?" Blaine asked sitting at the kitchen table until Kurt told him how to help.

"Yea I told them as soon as I got home from Rachel's when she told me. Apparently he has talked to Rachel's dad's and they are planning something, reverse psychology or something." Kurt said

"I hope it works." Blaine said

"Me too." Kurt said.

Conversation was slim after that. Kurt decided on garlic and herb chicken with baby red potatoes and steamed broccoli. Kurt pulled some chicken breasts from the fridge and began chopping herbs and mincing garlic to add to the chicken. He gave Blaine a knife and cutting board and directed him to cut the potatoes into bite sized bits before adding a little oil and coating them in garlic and herbs as well. When Blaine was done he washed and cut the broccoli and put it in Kurt's bamboo steamer. Kurt put the chicken and potatoes in the oven. It was too early to start steaming the broccoli so they cut up some tomatoes and set it aside for the salad and started washing the little amount of dishes they had made.

The next thing they knew they were laughing and singing Teenage dream together while Blaine washed dishes and Kurt dried and put them away.

"You two act like an old married couple." Finn said as he walked into the kitchen to grab a pop, scaring the shit out of Blaine and Kurt who were wrapped in their own little world.

"Shit! Number one announce yourself if you are going to be all stealthy like a ninja. Number two you are engaged, why are you making fun of us when we act like an old married couple, when you my dear brother are actually about to be married." Kurt asked as he started poured water into the wok and turned the burner on to start steaming the broccoli.

"Really Finn, we could have dropped a dish or something. For being so tall you can be very sneaky." Blaine said drying his hand off.

The three boys ended up sitting at the table.

"So you told him then?" Finn asked Kurt

"Yes I told him. Are you ashamed? Because that is not a great way to start a marriage. Being ashamed or embarrassed of your marriage or engagement." Kurt said secretly hoping Finn was changing his mind.

"I'm not ashamed I just know some people don't approve." Finn said

"I highly doubt anyone 100% approves Finn. I know you are young and in love but I think you are rushing into this. You two break up and get back together so often it spins my head. I get that you guys haven't broken up since you got back together at nationals last year but this insane. You two are in high school, neither of you have ever had a real job. You don't even know where you are going to school or what you are going to do in New York; you've never even lived together. You two have this whole fantasy of how it will be when you get married and live together in New York but you have no idea what the reality will be like. I love you like you were my real brother Finn, and I love Rachel and I want you two to be happy. But if you do this now I don't think it will last. You have no idea how the other is in a living together situation. I want you two to last and I want you to be happy. But I want you two to be happy forever, not for a few months, or maybe a few years. I just think you are rushing it. Have a long engagement or something wait a few years." Kurt said

The look on Finn's face was confusing, there was anger and there was understanding and then there was confusion.

"I don't know how you can say this. You are supposed to be my brother and support me. I love Rachel, I want to marry her. I'm pretty sure if Blaine asked you to marry him right now you would say yes." Finn said

"You are wrong. First off we wouldn't be able to get married right now because it is not legal for us to get married in Ohio. And secondly Blaine and I are on the same page. Do we love each other? Yes. Do we want to spend the rest of our lives together? Yes. But do we need a piece of paper to prove we love each other? No." Kurt said.

"Kurt is right. There is no reason to rush anything. If Rachel were pregnant I could maybe see you two getting married now for the baby's sake, but that is not the case. What is getting married right now proving? That you love each other? We can all see that. You don't need to get married to prove that. I don't think you know each other’s quirks enough to take this step. I don't think you know what the other is like enough to live together peacefully." Blaine said

"Oh and you two know each other’s quirks? Me and Rachel have been dating longer then you have." Finn said getting angry

"You and Rachel have known each other longer and when combining all the times you two were together have been dating longer then Blaine and me but that doesn't mean anything. What is Rachel's nightly routine?" Kurt asked

"I don't know she probably showers and then goes to bed." Finn said

"Wrong, her nightly routine is almost, if not more, elaborate then mine." Kurt said

"And Blaine knows about your nightly routine?" Finn asked

"Yes he does and he knows what products I use as well and even has the more important ones at his house in case I spend the night." Kurt said taking Blaine's hand and smiling.

"Kurt and I may not live together but I have pretty good idea what it would be like to live with him. I saw his dorm at Dalton and I see his room here and I see how he acts. He is tidy. He likes there to be a place for everything. Your kitchen here? That is not Carole's doing, that is all Kurt. The spices have to be in alphabetical order. I know this because one night you grabbed some crushed red pepper and didn't put it back where it belonged and Kurt had a fit. I think it's cute. He doesn't like shoes passed the front door. He vacuums his room nightly. And has to change the sheets once a week. Laundry has to be separated by color and fabric content. He likes to sleep dead center in the bed on his right side and would prefer it to be cold so he can cuddle into his bed. In the shower he washes his hair twice and leaves the conditioner on for the remainder of the shower until he is done before rinsing it. I know all of these things about Kurt and they don't bother me. Do you know any of the quirky things about Rachel that would affect you living together?" Blaine asked

Finn didn't answer he just looked at the two boys holding hands and sighed.

"What does Rachel look like in the morning right when she wakes up?" Blaine asked

"I don't know I've never spent the night with her." Finn said

"When Kurt wakes up in the morning he looks adorable. His hair is always flat on one side and sticking up everywhere on the other side. He talks in his sleep too. No matter how we fall asleep when we wake up he is always on my chest. And I am going to get kicked in a minute but he drools just a tiny bit in his sleep which I think is so cute." Blaine said laughing.

"I despise you." Kurt said glaring at Blaine.

"How often do you two sleep together?" Finn asked

"There have been a handful of Warbler parties, and a few times my parents have been out of town." Blaine said

"How come you get to spend the night with your boyfriend but I can't spend the night with my girlfriend. That is not fair." Finn said

"It probably has to do with downstairs equipment. And maybe trust. Your mom has already had a Grandma scare. Neither me nor Blaine can get pregnant. Rachel on the other hand can. I assume that is the main objection to you and her having sleepovers. You and Rachel having sex can result in a fetus, which would ruin you two's lives right now. Blaine and I having sex can't result in any life changing events." Kurt said

"I do not need to hear about my brother and his boyfriend having sex." Finn said blushing.

"I agree, I acknowledge that you have a sex life but I do not want to hear about it." Burt said walking into the kitchen.

"Jesus what's with everyone being so sneaky tonight?" Kurt said grabbing his chest in a dramatic fashion.

"What's for dinner?" Burt asked looking in the oven.

"Garlic herb chicken, potatoes, broccoli and a salad." Blaine said

"Thanks boys." Burt said

"Go clean up I'll get everyone's salads ready." Kurt said

After dinner was done Finn and Carole did the dishes while Burt went upstairs to shower. Kurt and Blaine went to Kurt's room and laid down on the bed. Sometime during dinner it had started to snow and the two just laid on Kurt's bed listening to whatever Kurt's Iphone decided to play while watching the snow fall out of Kurt's picture window.

Knock knock.

"Come in." Kurt said.

"Blaine can I have your mom or dad's phone number?" Burt asked

"Sure why?" Blaine said sitting up and grabbing his phone from the nightstand.

"The snow is coming down pretty hard out there and I don't want Kurt having to drive in it." Burt said

"Oh kay?" Blaine said in a questioning manner not really seeing where this was going.

"I'm going to ask them if you can just stay here tonight. They are calling for 6 inches of snow." Burt said

"Ok." Blaine said this time with a smile on his face.

He gave Burt his home phone number and Burt dialed them right there.

'Hello?' A woman answered after 3 rings.

"Mrs. Anderson?" Burt questioned

'Yes who is this?' Kathy Anderson questioned

"This is Burt Hummel, Kurt's dad." Burt said

'Oh hello Mr. Hummel how are you?' Kathy asked enthusiastically.

"I'm fine how are you?" Burt asked

'Wonderful, just wondering why the call is Blaine okay?' Kathy asked

"Blaine is fine, but I am actually calling to see if it would be okay for him to stay the night here. I don't know how much snow you are getting right now but it is coming down pretty hard over here and I'd rather not have Kurt drive in this weather right now. If it is an issue I will drive him home though." Burt added

'No no, don't worry give me just a moment.' Kathy said

Over at the Anderson's house Kathy looked to her husband before putting the phone on mute.

"Richard, its Kurt's father on the phone. He said the snow is coming down pretty hard at his house and wants to know if Blaine can just spend the night." Kathy asked

"Kurt is spending the night here tomorrow night so I don't see what the big issue is." Richard said seemingly uninterested.

Back at the Hummel-Hudson's Burt gave Blaine and Kurt a shrug at their looks of 'what is going on?'

'Mr. Hummel that should be fine. I was also wondering if you and your wife and other son would like to come over for dinner tomorrow night?' Kathy asked receiving a look from her husband.

"I thought your oldest son was coming into town?" Burt asked now receiving strange looks from Kurt and Blaine who were obviously wondering what was going on as they could only hear one end of the conversation.

'Oh no, Cooper is coming into town until Friday. Kurt was coming over tomorrow anyways so I think it would be nice if we could have dinner together and get to know each other.' Kathy said

"That sounds wonderful, I don't know if Finn will be coming but Carole and I would love to come over for dinner." Burt said

'Wonderful, I still have my shopping trip with the boys after school so how about 7 for dinner?' Kathy asked

"Sounds great we will see you tomorrow then." Burt said

'Looking forward to it. Goodbye.' Kathy said hanging up the phone.

"What the hell is going on?" Kurt asked shooting his father a worried yet curious look.

"Blaine can spend the night, and Mrs. Anderson invited Carole, Finn and I to dinner tomorrow night after you boys go shopping with her." Burt said

"Well there goes movie night." Blaine said

"You don't want out parents to finally officially meet?" Kurt asked with a tinge of anger in his voice raising his eyebrow at Blaine.

"Of course but I was looking forward to us just having a night to ourselves." Blaine said

"I'm spending the night we will have all night to hang out and watch movies." Kurt said

"Yes hang out. By the way since you are spending the night. No funny business." Burt said walking out of the room.

"Hey Dad wait." Kurt said

"Yes son?" Burt asked

"What are you and Carole planning with this whole wedding business?" Kurt asked

Burt shut the door and sat in the chair Kurt had across from his bed and the two boys sat up straighter.

"I don't know yet. Leroy, Hiram, Carole and I have all been trying to think of something, why, do you have any suggestions?" Burt asked

"Earlier, when Blaine and I were making dinner, Finn mentioned we acted like an old married couple. It kind of clicked; Rachel and Finn have never had a sleepover. They don't know what it would be like to live with each other at all. They have no idea how it would be. I think you guys should try and show them how that would be. Maybe give them a weekend away together under the guise of an engagement gift or something." Kurt suggested.

"Oh that is good. Hey you know my parents have this place out by Cedar Point. I don't think they would let two teenagers go out there by themselves for a weekend, but maybe if it was all four of us and me and Kurt could kind of make ourselves scarce so they would have it to themselves mostly it would let them play house and hopefully bring some things to light." Blaine said

"It sounds like a good idea but I don't know how well I like it. It would be like giving them a free pass to have sex." Burt said sighing

"I feel like I am going to kick myself in the ass for this but I am all for equality. I know it is different cause Blaine and I can't get pregnant but you letting us have sleepovers is like giving us a free pass to have sex. If Blaine's parents agree we will be there too some of the time. Even if they get married we are still planning on living together at college. They couldn't afford a place just them and I couldn't afford a place being just me so I guess it would be kind of nice for us all to play house together. Then next spring Blaine will be joining the mix." Kurt said looking at Blaine smiling. He couldn't wait until they could live together and fall asleep every night together.

"Maybe we could do it the week after Valentine's Day?" Blaine said smiling back at Kurt and nudging him.

Burt glared at Blaine and when Blaine caught his eyes his smile dropped and he looked at the bedspread.

"Yea maybe not, no that would be bad. Not Valentine's Day." Blaine said

"Quit glaring Dad, that could actually work. Rachel is such a romantic she will expect the weekend to be perfect, when it doesn't live up to her expectations she might change her mind." Kurt said

"Oh oh we could sabotage it!" Blaine said suddenly excited and started plotting in his head what he could do to make their Valentine's Day not perfect. Maybe Kurt could cook something that would make Finn super gassy or a little sick so Rachel would see that it's not all pink and rainbows.

"Blaine quit jumping and explain what's going on in your head." Kurt said laughing at his boyfriend jumping around while seated in the bed at whatever he was thinking about.

"So you said that Rachel has this whole idea in her head that everything is going to be perfect right? Them getting married. She has no idea what it would be like to live with Finn let alone be married to him. If we do this we should show her the not so nice side of living with someone, especially a Finn someone. I've seen his room, he is a slob. When we're there we could cook dinner and put a lot of garlic in it to give him indigestion. Or something really spicy." Blaine said

"Oh my god Blaine you are horrible. You want me to make my brother sick to get his fiancé to realize he is gross and postpone the wedding?" Kurt said appalled.

"No, not like sick, sick. Just you know uncomfortable. Don't girls always like to be ignorant of what goes on in the bathroom?" Blaine asked

"That is so disgusting it might work." Burt said

"You're not serious Dad." Kurt said looking at his Dad and seeing the look of optimism on his face.

"Oh my god, you are seriously considering this aren't you?" Kurt said looking at his boyfriend who was shaking his head in agreement with a huge smile on his face and then looking to his dad who looked slightly guilty.

"Talk to your parents tomorrow Blaine, explain to them and see if they will let you guys go. I'm going to go talk to Carole about it and then call Rachel's Dads and see what they think." Burt said leaving the room.

"You are horrible." Kurt said looking at Blaine whose smile faded at the statement.

"What? They are making a mistake. You want them to last right? Them getting married isn't going to be a positive thing. They are too young, you said it yourself." Blaine said

"I know but I just feel bad. What happens if they do decide to wait but only one of them wants to wait and they break up because of it? It will be my fault. Or what if the weekend goes swell and they go forward with their plans? If they break up then there goes the apartment in New York. I'd have to live on campus until the spring when you get there." Kurt said

"If the worst happens and you have to live on campus for a semester it would be better then them breaking up while you are living together and one of them leaving the apartment and you and whoever is left over struggling to pay the bills." Blaine said

"You have a point." Kurt said

"I'm always right." Blaine said

"Keep telling yourself that gorgeous." Kurt said getting up.

"What are you doing?" Blaine said almost whining

"Pajamas, I want to be comfy." Kurt said

"Since I didn't know I was spending the night that means I get to sleep naked right?" Blaine said winking.

"Yes I am sure my father would love that." Kurt said

"Who cares you would love it. I think we should both just sleep naked." Blaine said getting off the bed and joining Kurt at his dresser.

"Us being naked would lead to sex; you are supposed to take it easy." Kurt said as Blaine started unbuttoning his shirt.

"No the doctor said listen to my body. Right now my body is saying it wants to ravish you. Plus if you are so worried you could just ride me." Blaine sighed sliding his shirt off and hanging it over Kurt's desk chair before bunching the fabric of Kurt's sweater and pulling it off.

"You are so beautiful." Blaine said as he brought his lips to the base of Kurt's neck and placed open mouthed kisses, occasionally nipping and biting.

Kurt sighed and brought his hands to Blaine's hair happy that he hadn't used that much gel today. Blaine continued his assault on Kurt's neck and brought his hands to Kurt's hips and backing him into the dresser and pressing their hips and consequently groins together.

"Blaine." Kurt sighed out resisting the urge to buck into his boyfriend.

"I need you." Blaine groaned grinding his erection into Kurt's.

Kurt reached down and began unbuttoning Blaine's jeans and lowering the zipper while Blaine moved his hands and did the same. They both stepped out of their jeans leaving them on the floor and Kurt pushed Blaine back until his knees hit the bed causing him to fall on it. Kurt smirked at Blaine and pulled his socks off and then slowly pulled his boxer briefs off, licking his lips at the display in front of him. Kurt removed his own socks and briefs and climbed on top of his boyfriend, effectively rubbing their erections together. They both moaned quietly and Kurt leaned down to kiss Blaine. Kurt leaned over and reached into his end table drawer pulling out a bottle of lube. Blaine grabbed it and motioned for Kurt to sit up on his knees. He opened the lid and poured a little onto his fingers before closing the lid and setting beside him.
