Kurt got his assignments and texts in less than 10 minutes and left for Blaine's house. McKinley was in between Kurt's house and Blaine's house and Kurt arrived at 1:15 and knocked on the door to be greeted by Richard Anderson.

"Hello Kurt, he is upstairs pacing." Richard said

Kurt went up the stairs to Blaine's room where the door was shut and knocked on the door. Blaine threw upon the door looking slightly angry but as soon as he saw it was Kurt his face softened and he pulled the taller man in for a tight hug. In the split second before he was enveloped into the hug Kurt could tell how anxious Blaine was. His hair was everywhere looking like he had been tugging on it. There were papers all over his bed and floor and his guitar was out and Across the Universe was playing which Kurt knew was his ultimate 'chill out' movie. Kurt could feel the wetness on his neck from the silent tears Blaine as crying but he was becoming less and less tense with every passing minute.

"Shh baby it's okay." Kurt said holding onto Blaine.

Chapter 4:

Kurt went up the stairs to Blaine's room where the door was shut and knocked on the door. "Shh baby it's okay." Kurt said holding onto Blaine.

"I'm sorry for crying on you." Blaine said pulling away and wiping at his good eye.

"Don't ever be sorry for crying Blaine. What you went through before Dalton was horrible; no one should ever go through that. I know what happened at the dance but I don't know what happened after but obviously whatever happened has affected you in a very bad way. Maybe you should talk to a professional?" Kurt asked

"No I don't need to talk to a shrink. I just need you. How much time until we leave?" Blaine asked

"About 20 minutes." Kurt said looking at his watch

"I don't think I have time to go to into detail but I can tell you part of what happened that is the reason why I have these feelings." Blaine said

"Whatever you want to tell me or don't want to tell me is fine don't push yourself." Kurt said

"No I think I need to do this. Let's sit." Blaine said pulling Kurt to sit on his bed.

Kurt held Blaine's hand and rubbed his thumb in circles over his knuckles to keep him calm.

"I blacked out after the beating and when I woke up the first time it was my best friend Brenda who had found us she was screaming and getting teachers and police. I remember asking Brenda to check Justin and he was still there at this point he couldn't talk but he could understand. I heard the ambulances and I relaxed a little and blacked out again. When I woke up the second time I was in the hospital. My mom was there and she told me Justin was in a medically induced coma because there was so much damage to his face and brain that for the sake of healing his brain as much it would be better and faster for him to be in a coma and for the sake of his face it would be less painful for him to be in a coma. She told me there was a lot of damage and he might not be the same person when he wakes up. I only had broken rib and a concussion. But it had been 2 days. I asked where my dad was as he wasn't there and my mom said he hadn't come up yet. I remember I started freaking out. I knew he blamed me or my sexuality for what happened. If I was straight it wouldn't have happened, if Justin and I didn't go to that dance it wouldn't have happened. Before the dance he was really starting to work hard on accepting me but then it was like we went 500 steps backwards. He didn't come to see if I was okay. Cooper came in and told me that dad had been on the phone with lawyers and police since they found me. But it still hurt that he hadn't come to see me or call me or anything. And then the police that I gave my statement to seemed to think it was my fault too, the looks they gave me when they asked if we provoked them and I said no they have been bullying us for over a year, ever since we came out, I knew then that they thought we deserved it. Luckily the lawyer dad got didn't care at all about my sexuality. I tried talking to my dad when I got back home to ask why he never came up to see me but he avoided the question he would change the subject any time I tried to address the issue. We went to Dalton the next week and he didn't talk to me once. He asked the dean questions and the dean asked me questions but my dad didn't talk to me at all. I couldn't get in right away I had to wait until after the winter holiday. I wouldn't miss that much school anyways because the holiday break started the second week of December at my old school and at Dalton so I would only be missing 3 weeks of school. I went to visit Justin in the hospital every other day but nothing at home changed. Dad didn't talk to me, or make eye contact with me at all. Mom just sighed and hugged me when I would try and talk to him but it didn't change. I packed some of my stuff and went to Dalton. Mom called everyday then every few days and finally we only talked one a week. I never came home for weekends because I didn't want to be around my dad. When I came home for spring break it was like Sadie Hawkins never happened. My dad was talking to me again and asking me about Dalton. I didn't know what the hell to think so I just accepted it and anytime those feeling from before surfaced I would just push them away. That is why I started using the punching bag and working out. I didn't know how to get my frustrations out so I started working out. My dad thought I just wanted to bulk up so that I wouldn't look like an easy target but my mom and Cooper knew the real reason why." Blaine said

"Blaine, hunny, I'm so sorry your dad wasn't there for you then. I hate that your dad wasn't as accepting as my dad was of me. I didn't know you then and I can't come up with an idea of why your dad wasn't there for you, or why he suddenly just changed like everything was the way it was before but maybe you should ask him?" Kurt said

"I've tried but he just changes the subject." Blaine said

"When was the last time you tried?" Kurt asked

"Christmas before we started dating." Blaine said

"Maybe it is time to ask him again. Talk to your mom; tell her how everything made you feel like you've told me. Remind her of how much it hurt you and that you want to know why. Ask her to help you talk to your dad." Kurt said

"But everything has been going so well. He is trying so hard to accept me and everything. I mean he suggested that you spend the night Kurt. That is a huge step and I'm just afraid that if I bring it up again he is going to shut back down and shut me out." Blaine said

"But it is eating you up Blaine. You need to address this. He loves you. I can see that, I know you can see it. Yes he may not be entirely comfortable with everything but he loves you enough to try." Kurt said

"I'll think about it." Blaine said

"That is all I ask. I want you to be happy. I don't want you having these dreams. They say that having bad dreams is our minds way of trying to work through things we don't work through when we are awake so many if you address everything with your dad the dreams won't come back." Kurt said

"I'm sorry I'm being such a basket case." Blaine said sighing

"You are not, and do not be sorry. I'm your boyfriend I love you and I will always be here for you. You don't have to be strong all the time. You took care of me last year, now it is my turn to take care of you. We are equals, we love each other and we take care of each other. There are going to be good days and bad days and you will be there for me on my bad days and I will be there for you on your bad days, that is what relationships are about, that is what love is about." Kurt said

"Through sickness and in health." Blaine whispered

Kurt wasn't sure if Blaine had meant him to hear it but he heard it and immediately started coughing when the shocked breath he took in got caught somewhere.

"Come on boys we need to leave." Kathy said walking past Blaine's room.

Kurt looked at Blaine with a questioning glance and Blaine just returned that look with a smirk and a shrug before grabbing his hand and walking them down the stairs. The car ride to the hospital was uneventful. They plugged Blaine's iPod in and sang along to all the songs. Everyone understanding that Blaine needed this to keep his mind off things but not saying anything about it.

When they got to the hospital Kurt took Blaine's hand in his and squeezed it giving Blaine a smile. Blaine got out of the car looked at the hospital and took a deep breath. Kurt could tell he was nervous, his palms were sweaty and Blaine was gripping his hand tightly.

"We are all here for you Blaine. All of us are. You are going to be fine." Kurt said emphasizing ALL

They walked into the hospital with no problem and got into the elevator making their way up to the 3rd floor. When they got off the elevator Blaine's breathing started getting erratic.

"I can't. I can't do this. I can't be here." Blaine choked out.

"Blaine sweetie you are going to be fine." Kathy said

"I can't breathe." Blaine whispered clutching his chest. His eyes wide in fear taking in short shallow breaths.

Kurt took Blaine's hand and put it to his chest.

"Blaine do you feel my heart? Do you feel the rise and fall of my chest? I want you to concentrate on it ok? I want you to breath with me." Kurt asked

Blaine was pale and Kurt could see he was starting to sweat. Kurt took his hand and mimicked Blaine's hand on his chest. Kurt began counting for every breath he took and for every breath he exhaled. He kept his eyes locked with Blaine's and when he got to 15 Blaine was starting to breathe with him and Kurt could feel his pulse starting to slow down. When he got to 60 Blaine fell into his Kurt's chest sobbing.

"Shhh baby it’s okay. It's okay to be scared. What you went through is horrible and it is okay to be scared. But I am here now and your mom is here and your dad is here and we all love you." Kurt said

"Is he okay?" A nurse walked by

"Panic attack, it's under control now." Kurt said

"Are you okay to walk Blaine or do you want the nurse to get a wheelchair?" Kathy asked

"I'm okay to walk." Blaine said taking in a deep breath and exhaling trying to regain his composure.

Kurt and Blaine held hands as they walked to the waiting room where Mr. Anderson checked Blaine in and they waited.

"I don't want to bring this up, but once they take you in for the surgery your parents are going to ask me what happened back there. They are going to ask me if I know why you had the panic attack. If you want I will tell them I don't know or it isn't my place to say. I just want to know what you want me to say when they ask." Kurt asked Blaine.

"If you want to tell them what we talked about earlier you can. Maybe if you tell them how I feel it will be more eye opening then me just complaining again." Blaine said sighing.

"It isn't complaining Blaine. What your Dad did hurt you and you have every right to be hurt and you have every right to confront him on it. If you want I will tell them that way it won't be as such a shock when you are better and you bring it up. Your dad can think about it and have an answer for you when you ask him about it yourself." Kurt said.

"You're right. I can't keep living with this. I need to get it out. I love you. I've been so afraid to push myself to talk to him but you are right I need to do this. I need to do it for me. If I don't it is just going to eat at me." Blaine said

"What are we talking about?" Kathy said as she and Richard walked over to sit next to the boys.

"Valentine's Day." Blaine said

"Oh yes that is only a few weeks away. What do you two have planned?" Kathy said

"Not sure yet, maybe go see a movie and head over to Breadstix. I'm sure half of the New Directions will be there so it might be fun to have dinner with all our friends." Kurt said

"I'm so glad you two have so many friends that support you." Kathy said

"Are you two the only two gay kids at school?" Richard asked

"No, our friends Santana and Brittany are together finally." Blaine said

"Finally?" Richard said

"Brittany confessed her feelings for Santana last year but Santana wasn't ready to come out, she pretended to date a closeted gay kid at our school who has since graduated but then my idiot step brother outed her. Everyone in glee club knew she was gay but she didn't want the whole school to know. But now Britt and Sanny are together and I've never seen Santana happier. She is less evil now." Kurt said

"I didn't really know her much but from the stories I have heard she seems calmer. I'm happy for them." Blaine said

"She was mean before?" Kathy asked

"Mean isn't the right word. She was just rude maybe? It's hard to explain. The things she said and did might seem mean to other people, but to those of us who know her we knew it was more of her defense. None of us took anything she said personally because we knew that her attitude and words were her way of protecting herself. Plus I kind of like her nicknames, some of them may be questionable but they are pretty funny. If we weren't friends I might be offended." Kurt said

"Does she call you names Blaine?" Richard said

"No she hasn't come up with a name for me yet." Blaine said suddenly disappointed that he didn't have a nickname.

"You sound disappointed." Kurt said

"I feel kind of left out; I think I am the only one without a nickname." Blaine said pouting

"Aww poor baby." Kurt said laughing

"What are your nicknames Kurt?" Kathy asked

"Lady Lips, Teen Gay, Prancy Smurf, Porcelain is usually reserved for the cheerleading coach but sometimes Santana uses it." Kurt said laughing.

"You aren't offended?" Richard said

"Like I said at dinner the other night, I know I can't pass as straight. I know I fit the stereotype and I'm fine with that now, the names aren't meant to harm. With Santana it is her way of showing she cares about me. Same with the cheerleading coach. She pretends to be a hardass and can be pretty mean but she has my back. She is the one that while acting as principle expelled my bully so she's got my back." Kurt said

"She calls me Young Burt Reynolds." Blaine said smiling.

"Thankfully you look nothing like him, ick he reminds me of Chewbacca." Kurt said disgusted.

"I love that you are secretly a geek under all your fashionable clothes." Blaine said smiling.

"Yes well at least I am better at hiding the fact that I am secretly a geek, instead of practically screaming to the entire glee club that we all have to go to see Episode 1 in 3D." Kurt said

"Everyone loves Star Wars. Anyone who says differently is lying." Blaine said

"At least I won't have to practically carry you out of the theater because you are too busy sobbing about your childhood being over the world losing its meaning at Start Wars like I had to over the summer at the last Harry Potter." Kurt said smirking.

"Don't lie now, you were crying too." Kurt said

"I didn't say I didn't cry, but I wasn't a sobbing mess." Kurt replied

"Fair enough." Blaine said

"I remember taking you to the midnight releases at Barnes and Nobel every time a new book came out." Kathy said smiling.

"My mom took me too until she got sick and then my dad took me for the other ones." Kurt said

"Blaine Anderson." A nurse asked from the desk.

"I'll be in the room when you wake up." Kurt said holding onto Blaine's hand.

"You should have brought a book; you are going to be bored." Blaine said standing

"I've got my phone I'll be fine." Kurt said smiling.

Blaine pulled him up and gave him a hug. Then realizing he didn't care about the people around them possibly being offended planted a kiss on Kurt's lips. Nothing passionate or obscene but a loving kiss none the less.

"I love you." Blaine said smiling

"I love you too, see you in a bit. Don't give those doctors a hard time." Kurt smiled

Blaine walked off and Kurt sat back down suddenly feeling slightly uncomfortable sitting there next to Blaine's parents.

"So you love my son?" Richard said

Kurt blushed.

"Yes I do." Kurt said looking over to Richard.

"How long have you been saying that to each other? Blaine has never said anything." Richard said

"He told me he loved me the day after I got back from Nationals. We were at the Lima Bean and I was telling him about New York and how amazing it is and then he told me he loved me." Kurt said smiling remembering that day.

"And you said it back, just like that?" Richard said

"Not right after, I admit I was shocked. But yes I did say it back, and I meant it then, and I mean it now." Kurt said

"So you two are very close then." Richard said

"Yes." Kurt said simply.

"So you two are very serious about New York. New York is something you two both really want?" Richard said

"We were telling the truth last night at dinner. They have the best schools for what we want to do. We could never make it in Ohio, or even in the Midwest. Maybe in some of the bigger town in the Midwest, maybe Chicago but nowhere else really fits. For what we want to go to school for, New York is the best option where we can be ourselves." Kurt replied.

"You're talking about being gay right?" Richard said

"Richard!" Kathy practically yelled.

"Yes, I am talking about being gay. Blaine and I have both had to transfer schools because of bullying. We get treated differently because we are gay. Not everyone accepts us. We get that not everyone is on board the gay express but in New York, in the bigger cities no one cares, or the people that do care are out numbered by those who don't care about someone's sexuality. I am lucky that my dad has always been accepting of me, not everyone has that." Kurt said

"You are talking about me aren't you?" Richard said

"I didn't say that." Kurt said nervously not wanting to upset Blaine's parents when he was going to be stuck here alone with them for at least 2 hours.

"Do you know why Blaine was pacing earlier? Why he had the panic attack?" Kathy asked

"Yes I do." Kurt said simply looking down at his phone wishing for someone to text him or something so he could avoid this. It had only been 15 minutes since Blaine had been taking back to surgery. They probably just sedated him and are getting ready to fix his eye. Kurt knew that Blaine gave him the ok to talk about this. And actually wanted him to talk to his parents about it but he still felt as if he was breaching his trust.

"He told you but he wouldn't tell his mother?" Richard asked with a twinge of anger.

"Richard stop, he is a teenager you really expect him to tell us everything?" Kathy asked

"He's our son, he should tell us." Richard said

"He probably didn't tell Kathy because he didn't want to cause conflict between you two." Kurt said simply

"Will you tell us what it was about?" Kathy asked holding Richards hand.

"I will but only if you promise not to confront Blaine about it. I don't even feel comfortable telling you, I think he should but he basically asked me to go ahead and tell you that way when he is ready to confront you about it you will have an answer ready and won't blow him off." Kurt said looking at Richard.

"I can't promise you that." Richard said

"Then I am not telling you. You can't confront him on this. I'm sure you won't have to wait long I'll make sure he brings it up again. This is important and bringing it up to him when he isn't ready can be harmful." Kurt said

"We promise. Don't we Richard?" Kathy said

"Yes, we will let him address it." Richard said

"He had a nightmare today when he was taking a nap. It was of that night at Sadie Hawkins. It brought up some issues from that week. It obviously brought up the feelings of what happened to him and Justin but more so it brought up the feeling of his dad not being there. Of his dad not visiting him once while he was in the hospital. He said before the dance things between you two had seemed to have gotten better. You were more accepting, you talked. After the dance you weren't there. He said you hardly spoke to him. He didn't go back to school and didn't start Dalton until after the Winter Holidays but you still never really spoke to him. He went and visited Justin a lot and anytime he tried to talk to you about what happened and why you weren't there you would ignore him or just straight change the subject. He felt, and probably still feels that you blame him for what happened. If he was straight he would never have been a target. If he wasn't out of the closet he wouldn't have been a target. He told my dad and me once about how you built a car one summer, and how he thinks it was you trying to turn him straight. He said he never came home for weekends when he started Dalton because he didn't want to be around someone who didn't want him. Then when he came home for spring break it was like nothing happened. It was like the dance never happened and you were back to talking to him, and accepting him. Blaine told me he has tried to ask you about why you were never there and what changed but you still to this day avoid it and change the subject. Richard, you may not see, but it is eating him up. He needs to know what happened. He needs to know why his dad never visited him in the hospital; he needs to know why his dad stopped speaking to him for almost 6 months." Kurt said wiping away tears.

Kathy looked at her husband and was using a Kleenex to wipe her own tears away. Richard looked shocked. Richard started to get up.

"Where do you think you are going Richard?" Kathy asked

"I need to go for a walk." Richard said

"No you are going to sit in this chair and think about what Kurt just told you. You are going to stay there and you are going to go into that room when Blaine gets out of surgery and you are going to be there for him. I don't care if you are upset right now, I don't care if you are angry. I don't care what you are feeling. You are not going to walk away and not be here when he wakes up. You are his father act like it." Kathy said

Kurt's eyes were wide as Kathy told Richard off. He didn't know what to say or what to think. Richard sunk back in his chair obviously shocked as well.

"I suggest you start thinking about your answer, I don't think Blaine is going to wait very long before asking you that question." Kathy said

Kurt's phone buzzed.

Rachel: Is Blaine still in surgery?

Kurt looked at his watch surprised to see it had almost been an hour since they took Blaine back.

Kurt: Yes, they said it shouldn't take more then 2 hours so he has another hour to go.

Rachel: That's good. Give him our love. How is it hanging out with his parents?

Kurt: Awkward.

Rachel: None of us really know about his parents. Are they okay with you two being gay?

Kurt: His mom has always been supportive, his dad not so much although he has been slowly coming around. He invited me to sleep over next week so I guess that's progress.

Rachel: Ha, that's like giving you two permission to get dirty.

Kurt: Yea well we aren't going to disrespect his family by having sex while they are home. I get to meet his brother finally, I don’t want to get kicked out before that.

Rachel: ! WHAT? Blaine has a brother? Why have I not heard of this?

Kurt: Because he is away at college. His is coming home next weekend so his girlfriend can meet the family; she is vegetarian so I am helping his mom cook.

Rachel: Aww that's so cute.

Kurt: Have you told Finn about NYADA yet?

Rachel: I am telling him tomorrow at dinner at my house.

Kurt: He'll be excited for you. I have to go now I think Kathy wants to chat.

Rachel: Bye

Kurt put his phone back in his pocket and picked up a Vogue magazine and started flipping. Kathy moved over to him and for the rest of the time they were waiting Kathy and Kurt talked about fashion and decorating and the dinner next week while Richard sat in his chair looking serious.

"Mr. and Mrs. Anderson?" A male nurse came into the waiting room.

Kathy grabbed Kurt's hand and walked to the nurse, Richard following closely behind.

"Is Blaine awake?" Kathy asked

"Not yet it will take up to a half hour for the sedation to wear off but you are welcome to wait in his room now. The doctor will be in once he wakes up to check everything, but there were no complications so everything should be fine with your son." The nurse said walking them to Blaine's room.

Once they were in Blaine's room Richard sat in the corner next to the window while Kurt and Kathy sat on opposite sides of Blaine's bed. Kurt immediately took Blaine's hand and held it.

"Richard I didn't mean to upset you with what I said, but you asked. I also don't think it is a good idea for Blaine to wake up and see you like this." Kurt said quietly

"Kurt is right hunny, when he wakes up your attitude needs to change. Blaine isn't going to want to talk about this when he wakes up, and you acting this way is going to force the conversation." Kathy said.

Richard looked conflicted but shook his head in agreement and sighed rather loudly.

The three of them sat in silence with the sedated Blaine and Kurt getting bored and having nothing to read in here started humming songs. He was on his third song ironically Teenage Dream when Blaine started mumbling something.

"What did you say Blaine?" Kurt asked

"Thas our song." Blaine murmured.

"You are correct that is our song, how are you feeling?" Kurt asked

"I feel like I have no bones, oh my god did Professor Lockhart magic away my bones like he did Harry? Oh my god get Madame Pomfrey to give me skele-grow but that stuff is horrible!" Blaine said serious as all hell.

"Blaine we aren't wizards, you are just having a strange reaction to the sedation okay your bones are still there." Kurt said trying not to laugh.

"I wanna be a wizard though, they're so cool, like they can fly and do magic and they get to go to Hogwarts and hang out with Dumbledore. And you know everyone should have known he was gay I mean come on those robes? They were pretty flamboyant. It was pretty obvious. I wasn't shocked. But those robes were intense I tease you about all your layers but damn I feel bad for whoever was his partner having to get all those layers off, probably had a harder time then I do." Blaine said giggling a little.

"Blaine stop it, your parents are right here." Kurt said seriously feeling his face blushing.

"What? All I was talking about was how you wear too many clothes. It makes getting you naked kind of hard. Ha har…" Blaine started to say

"BLAINE!" Kurt practically screamed

Kathy was smirking on her side of the bed and Richard looked shocked. He was pretty sure the two were fooling around but this conversation that his son was having was obviously indicating that they were doing more than just fooling around

"Good afternoon I see someone is awake. How are you feeling Blaine?" A doctor said walking in.

"I feel like my bones are gone. You know that happened in Harry Potter right? But they have skele-grow. Do you have skele-grow?" Blaine asked

"Is this normal? I mean for him to be this out of it?" Kurt asked motioning to Blaine

"He is on a little bit on pain medication so it could be the pain medication, but people can get pretty silly coming out of sedation as well so it can be a combination of the two. It should wear off soon." The Dr. said

The Doctor asked Blaine some questions, if he was in pain, what level the pain was. He pulled off the patch over his eye and looked at his eye for a good 5 minutes before replacing it.

"Ok so everything looks spectacular, if you want to go back to school on Monday you can. I am going to schedule a follow up visit for Wednesday and if everything looks fine you can go without the patch. The eye heals amazingly fast. Once the patch is off you might want to wear sunglasses while your eye gets used to the light again but we can discuss that more on Wednesday.

"Can he drive? Richard has a meeting Wednesday all day and I have a charity that I can't reschedule." Kathy asked

"He cannot drive until the patch is off." The doctor said

"I can drive him I don't mind. Just schedule it for after school and we can come right after school." Kurt offered.

"And you are?" The doctor said

"Um." Kurt said not sure if he should actually say boyfriend or not but judging by their hand holding it was obvious.

"Kurt is my boyfriend." Blaine said smiling at Kurt.

"I see, after school seems fine. And just so you are all aware visiting hours end at 9pm and start back up again at 7am tomorrow morning. No overnight guests." The doctor said looking at Kurt and Blaine.

"Of course." Kurt said

"This is boring; there is nothing on this TV." Blaine said

"Why don't you see if any of your friends want to come visit?" Kathy said

"Britt did express her want to see her dolphin this morning at school." Kurt said

"Aww Britt, I love her. When we move to New York can we bring her with?" Blaine asked smiling.

"With Britt comes Santana are you sure?" Kurt said laughing

"We have to! It will be Klaine, Finchel and Britana taking on the big city!" Blaine said

"Us, Finn and Rachel will definitely get to New York, I think that Britt and Santana should get to New York too, I think it would be good for them." Blaine said

"So do you want me to tell everyone to come up to see you?" Kurt asked

"Not everyone, they aren't going to let everyone in here how about just Brittany, Santana, Finn and Rachel, tell them to bring food. I don't want this hospital food it's gross." Blaine said.

Kurt to Finn and Rachel: Finn and Rachel, Blaine says he is up for visitors, but only if you bring food, I'm inviting Britt and Santana so can you go to the Chinese place and get what we normally get. I'll pay you back. We are third floor room 321.

Kurt to Santana: Tell Brittany her favorite dolphin wants to see her. Finn and Rachel are going to get Chinese so come on up. Third floor room 321.

"Ok everyone has been texted." Kurt said.

"Why does Brittany call you a dolphin?" Richard asked

"We tend not to ask Brittany her reasoning for anything, we just accept it as a Brittanyism." Kurt said laughing.

"You don't have any idea why at all?" Richard asked

"She was on this kick a couple years back about how dolphins are just gay sharks so that might be why." Kurt said

"Brittany is a little out there, she was calling Kurt a unicorn for the better half of a month earlier this year." Blaine said

"And why unicorn?" Kathy asked

"To quote our lovely Brittany 'A unicorn is somebody who knows they are magical and isn't afraid to show it.'" Blaine told his mom.

"So basically the dolphin and unicorn things are to make fun of your sexuality." Richard said starting to get angry.

"No, it's not like that. Yes she might be referencing our sexuality but Britt is harmless. She is kind of innocent but not at the same time. I don't know how to explain it without being mean." Kurt said

"Brittany is a stereotypical dumb blonde." Blaine said

"Blaine that is horrible." Kurt said offended

"I don't mean it to be rude but she is. It doesn't mean we don't love her. Even she knows she is. I saw the shirts you guys wore for Born This Way last year. She realizes she isn't the smartest but she doesn't let it bring her down and she isn't afraid to be who she is or say what she wants to say. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body." Blaine said.

"I see. I think we should be going Richard. Blaine is fine here. And his friends will be here soon. We can come back tomorrow when we pick him up." Kathy said

Richard stood and Kathy gave Blaine a kiss on the head and Richard gave Blaine a pat on the shoulder.

"Thanks for being here Dad." Blaine said

"I'm always here for you son." Richard said and they walked out.

"Holy shit was that papa Anderson?" Santana said walking into the room.

"That would be my father yes." Blaine said

"He looks like a hard ass." Santana asked

"MY DOLPHIN!" Brittany said hugging Blaine

"Hey Britt." Blaine said

"I made you this card!" She said handing him a homemade card.

Blaine looked at it and smiled. The front had a rainbow with Get Better written under it with a picture of an ocean and two dolphins touching noses. He flipped it open and read what she wrote. 'Dear Blainey, I hope your surgery went well and you get to take your pirate patch off soon. Kurtsie has been sad in school without you and I don't like when he is sad so you need to get better so that he will be happy again. Plus we all miss you and want you to come back soon. Love, Brittany S Pierce (Brittany Spears)'

"Aww thanks Brittany that was sweet. I miss you guys too." Blaine said

Finn and Rachel showed up about 15 minutes later with Chinese and everyone dug into their respective white boxes.

"That was so good. I feel like I haven't eaten in ages." Blaine said

"It has been almost 24 hours so I'm not surprised." Kurt said

"I ate so much I'm going to need to really work out when I can engage in strenuous activity again." Blaine said

"Wanky!" Santana said

"Oh my god Santana!" Kurt yelled blushing.

"Hey she is right, it's been a couple weeks now, and that is my favorite type of exercise." Blaine said winking

"I think I'm going to throw up." Finn said looking at his food and setting it down.

"I'm confused." Brittany said

"Your dolphins are lacking in the sexy time department." Santana said

"I love sexy times." Britt said

"Don't we all." Kurt said

"So you two can't do anything? What does your eye have to do with, ya know, down there." Rachel asked

"I don't know they just said no strenuous activity, I'm sure sex falls into the strenuous activity category." Blaine said

"Well you could just lay there and let Kurt do all the work." Rachel said

"Oh my god stop just stop! I do not want to hear about my brother’s sex life that is just wrong." Finn said

"Oh chill out man boobs, I'd rather watch these two fairies have sex then you two, and I'm not even into dicks. These two here get me all hot and bothered just by the looks they give." Santana said

"Sorry to break up this party but visiting hours are over. Blaine I will be back in 10 minutes to check your bandage." A nurse said popping in and back out.

"Well I guess that's our cue to leave then." Santana said standing up and waving to everyone.

"Bye Blainey, bye Kurtsie." Brittany said giving both Kurt and Blaine kisses on the cheek before her and Santana walked out of the room.

"I take it you are going to defy the nurse and hang out a bit longer?" Finn said

"You know it." Kurt said

"Don't stay too long Mom said it is supposed to storm pretty bad tonight I'll see you at home bro." Finn said

"Yes mother." Kurt said rolling his eyes.

Finn and Rachel left with the left over food and Kurt went into Blaine's bag and pulled out his phone charger and plugged it in.

"You are so smart I never would have thought to bring that." Blaine said

"I know you, you are going to be on the phone playing games all night probably or watching movies and I want to be able to text you when I get home if you are awake and then text you when I get up." Kurt said

"I love you. You are perfect and so good to me." Blaine said

"I love you too. I should get going before that nurse comes back." Kurt said

"Mmm but I want to kiss my boyfriend." Blaine whined.

"You think I am that mean? I wouldn't leave without kissing you goodbye." Kurt said

Blaine smiled and sat up a little bit in his bed as Kurt walked stood up and leaned over him. Kurt planted the most innocent kiss ever on Blaine and straightened back up.

"I do not think so. Get your sexy ass back down here. I want a proper kiss goodbye." Blaine said

Kurt leaned back down and kissed Blaine pulling his bottom lip into his mouth and lightly sucking on it. Their lips continued to move against each other tongues lightly licking but never breaching each other’s lips. Kurt let out a little whine and suddenly the kiss got more heated. Tongues intertwined and hands gripping hair. Blaine nibbled on Kurt's bottom lip causing the older boy to let out a deep moan.

"Eh hem." A voice from the doorway said.

"Shit." Blaine said under his breath.

"Visiting hours are over, your boyfriend needs to leave Mr. Anderson." A male nurse said.

"I'll see you tomorrow when I get home baby." Blaine said giving Kurt once last kiss.

"I'll text you when I get home. I love you so much." Kurt said

"I love you too." Blaine said

"Sorry." Kurt said to the nurse as he left a deep blush covering his face.

"Don't be ashamed of being love. You two are sweet." The nurse said

Kurt smiled and kept walking.

"Ok Mr. Anderson let’s check your eye out and give you your night meds." The nurse said walking into the room fully.
