“What for?” Kurt asked, confused on why his Dad would buy him a gift for no reason. Burt hadn’t answer him right away, but had motioned Kurt to follow him. They walked for a couple of minutes in a comfortable silence, enjoying the light breeze and the soft sounds of kids playing. Burt had then stopped his tracks and turned to his son.
“I’m proud of you Kurt. Not only because you’re doing good in school but because of how much bravery you have. You show me that I raised you right. So to reward you for being a great son I got you these.” Burt handed a white envelope to Kurt, who had been surprised on the whole scene. When he had finally opened the gift two airplane tickets came out. Kurt had looked closely at the ticket which had said: New York flight 25 3:30 pm.
Kurt looked up at his Dad with tears in his eyes.
“W-what...I-I..Thank you so much Dad!” Kurt said as he hugged his Dad tightly crying tears of joy.
“The other ticket is for whoever you want to bring. I wa-” Burt had been cut off by a loud shrieking scream. Kurt had then turned around to see the most horrific thing.
“WAIT STOP!” Kurt jolted up from the ground as he woke up, screaming like he always does when he had nightmares. He got up from the couch and made his way to the window. It was about 8 am and there was a few zombies outside but not as much as there were at night. Kurt pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up. Kurt had started smoking a couple weeks after the virus had hit. Kurt tried to forget his whole past so to do that he did the exact opposite of what he would normally do. He started smoking, change the designer to leather jackets, and didn’t give one fuck about anything. Though being two years straight of not talking or seeing anyone -a side from the zombies- he’d never admit to himself that he felt alone.
Kurt hadn’t eaten for about three days, the apartment he was staying in had no more food which meant he had to go looking for some. Kurt grabbed his things -which were only his gun, bullets, knife, and cigarettes- and headed outside. Kurt looked around, gun in his hand making sure no zombies where near. Kurt only had to walk about 4 blocks since the grocery store was near. Kurt had been close but suddenly the noise of running footsteps came near.
“Shit,” Kurt turned around to see 2 zombies coming at him. Kurt shot one twice making blood spill all over the floor and pieces of brain fly in the air. Kurt hadn’t had time to reload so he got his knife and stabbed the zombie right in his neck and middle of his head. “Little fuckers got my jacket dirty.” Kurt muttered to himself as he was about to walk into the grocery store but the sound of metal stopped him. He turned around right away gun pointing straight up.
“Come out you shitheads! Come on!” Kurt yelled ready to make whatever it was have a taste of his own medicine.
“Wait, don’t shoot!” A voice yelled which made Kurt do a double take. The first voice Kurt had heard in two years. A young male came out behind the car with a small handgun in his hands. Kurt had to admit this guy was good looking....fuck he was gorgeous! The boy had been wearing clean cut clothes,Kurt raised an eyebrow from his appearance. Where the fuck did this guy come from? Kurt thought to himself. The boy looked a Kurt with a shock expression in his face. Kurt didn’t say anything just kept quiet.
“Are....um are you a survivor?” The boy had asked looking at Kurt with scared eyes.
“No...I’m a fucken zombie that’s talking to you,” Kurt chuckled at the stupid question the boy asked. Kurt stood there for a few more moments until finally turning around and going inside the grocery store. He heard footsteps following him but he didn’t dare turn around. He just kept going forward, like always.
The boy finally ran in front on Kurt stopping his tracks. “Hi, I’m B-” Kurt cut him off putting his hand on top of his mouth.
“I don’t do names. You get to attach to a person and blah blah. Ok um you’re umm,” Kurt looked at the boy and then to his hair which was styled with too much gel. “well from the way you were about to say your name it sounds like it starts with a B, so nice to meet you B. Or it could be sex on a stick cause from the looks of it that’s what I see. I’m....K.” Kurt walked around B who had a weird expression on his face and a slight blush.
“I um I...can I stay with you?” B asked quietly. Kurt stopped and turned to Blaine. “I please....before this I stayed in a underground tunnel with my family but...I um...they kicked me out so I... please.” Blaine had looked at Kurt with this expression in his eyes like...like he needed Kurt.
Kurt stared at Blaine for a while in silence, not saying a word. He walked around Blaine and to the canned food section. Blaine had stayed in place though with a sad expression on his face. Kurt turned to look at him.
“Well are you fucken coming or not? I have to get some food I’m starved.” Blaine smiled as he followed Kurt.
2 hours later
“So what happened?” Kurt asked Blaine as they sat on an outside bench eating canned ravioli.
“What?” Blaine asked though knowing what he was talking about.
“With your family kicking you out and shit. And plus how did you guys get an underground
tunnel?” Kurt got a cigarette from his pocket and lit it, feeling the fumes go through his lungs. Blaine had looked at Kurt with a face of disgust.
“You do know that those are bad for you right? Like you can die,” Blaine said with a small hint of concern. Kurt rolled his and took a long drag of the cig. Blaine sighed but didn’t say anything else. “My dad was a lawyer got lots of money and knew a lot of people. He knew this guy who had shelters under his house, they had food, clothes, and anything else you can think of. When the virus hit he told my dad that him and his family can come....so that’s that story.” Kurt raised an eyebrow as Blaine stopped.
“Why won’t you tell me the rest? What scared that I’m gonna tell anybody hot stuff?” Kurt chuckled darkly. Blaine had felt his face getting hot when he heard the nickname.
“I um I guess I’m just not ready.” They stayed silent for a few seconds when they suddenly hear gurgling noises. Kurt shot right up getting his gun, about 6 zombies came out of the shadows. Kurt shot 3 down but when he aimed for the other nothing came out.
“Fuck! B what the fuck are you doing get up! HELP ME!” Blaine had been looking at the scene with large shocked eyes. He got his hand gun and aimed it at the zombie but his hand was shaking so much that he had missed. “You dumbass, give that to me!” Kurt grabbed his gun and shot the rest of the zombies. One was left so Kurt got his knife and threw it aiming it right in the middle of the chest. The zombie fell blood dripping all over the floor. Kurt walked towards the zombies head and stomped on the face with his boot.
“Double tap, just to make sure.” Kurt smirked at the job he done then looked over to Blaine who’s face was pale as a sheet. “Aww first time ever seeing a zombie killed babe?” Blaine stood quiet, not looking up from the zombies body.
Kurt started to get worried What the fuck? Why do you even care how this guy feels, by a week he’ll be dead! Kurt cleared his throat which made Blaine finally look up.
“I..um I...sorry I just never....I’m scared” Blaine said the last word in a whisper.
Kurt groaned throwing his head back from frustration. “ You don’t think I was! Look you may be new to this but I’m not! So if you’re gonna stick with me you’re gonna have to get used to this.” Kurt pointed to the zombies on the ground.
“I can’t even fire a fucken gun! How am I supposed to make it alive?” Blaine sat back down on the bench putting his fist on his eyes. Kurt stood there quiet for a moment not knowing what to do when finally a smirk planted on his face.
“Get up,” Blaine looked up confused. “What? Are you just gonna fucken sit there. Get up so I can teach you how to shoot.” Blaine slowly got up and walked next to Kurt.
“Um Ok teach me. But if I shoot you I’m sorry, K” Blaine chuckled lightly but Kurt then grabbed his hands and put the gun between them. “Um...how do I hold it?” Kurt rolled his eyes but then went behind Blaine. Kurt put his arms around Blaine and his hands on top of his. Blaine’s heart started beating faster and his breathing deeper. Kurt had noticed and decided to press his body closer to Blaine’s.
Kurt put his mouth right next to Blaine’s ear and whispered “Now let’s try the window over there. Ok so you put your finger outside the trigger and breath in deep and-” Kurt then squeezed the trigger with their fingers. The bullet hit the window perfectly. “Now you try by yourself.” Blaine shivered by the whispers in his ears. Pay attention Blaine, don’t mess up anything now
Blaine aimed for the next window and breathed in slowly, then squeezed the trigger. He flinched at the noise and squeezed his eyes shut. Then he heard a whistle from Kurt.
“Pretty good for a rookie but you still need work. You’ll just need a little practice” Blaine had looked at the window which was only broken but some pieces stayed.
“Thanks K, you better help me practice!” Blaine nudged him in a playful way but Kurt had pushed him on the bench. “Hey what was that fo-” Blaine sentenced had been stopped as Kurt went on top of his lap and started kissing him. Blaine moaned from the sudden pulse of lust going through him.
“You’re so fucken hot.” Kurt whispered as he kissed down Blaine’s neck. Blaine threw his head back and groaned loving the way Kurt’s soft lips felt against his neck. Wait what are you doing Blaine!? You’re not like this! Blaine started to move his face away from Kurt.
“Wait..wait K-K I...we can’t do this.” Blaine said pushing Kurt off him.
“What do you fucken mean? Wait, shit are you straight?” Kurt asked feeling embarrassed that he might have just made out with a straight guy. He was now standing up with an obvious erection showing.
“No, no I’m...I’m gay. I just don’t do this type of thing.” Blaine motioned between them.
“And you know killing zombies isn’t normally my thing either but still!? What? You want to go on dates and cuddle. Blaine the world is filled with zombies! Come on, I’m horny, you’re horny,” Kurt then went back on top of Blaine whispering in his ear. “I know you’re just dying to be fucked. A nice little virgin like you, bet my cock will feel good around your tight ass. Come on, B. I’ll make you scream. Make you beg for more until you can’t walk straight.” Kurt then rubbed their erections together making both of the boys moan.
Blaine felt amazing but he knew he couldn’t do this. “N-no...look K please. My body wants it but I don’t want it. I’m sorry K.” Blaine pushed Kurt up and walked up to a car, seeing the keys were still inside. “I..um there’s a car we can take.” Blaine looked at Kurt who had a angry -with a hint of hurt- expression on his face. Kurt just walked towards the car and got into the passenger seat.
“You’re driving.” Kurt muttered.Blaine sighed as he walked around going into the driver’s seat. They drove for about about half an hour. Blaine had felt bad about the whole situation. It’s not like he didn’t want to cause god did he want to. He just didn’t feel right about it.
Blaine finally broke the silence. “I’m sorry. I am K, I guess I’m just not ready” Kurt looked up at Blaine with a small smirk on his face.
“Hmm well I always like a challenge.” Kurt smiled at Blaine, lust in his eyes, then turned back to the window. Leaving Blaine with very tight pants.
