December 3
Hey Blainey, I need to tell you something (unsent)
Hey, Blainey, would you forgive me if I said I kissed someone else? (unsent)
Hey, Blaine, I cheated on you (unsent)
Hey Blainey
Kurtlet! <3
Rachel won’t shut up about the tree lighting. It’s been two days and she’s still on about it
Well, I can’t stop thinking about it. You thought kissing in the snow was cheesy romcom stuff. But right in front of the tree as it lights up for the first time?
Oh, by the way, I’m a huge sap.
Haha
Hey, I’ve got a question for you
Sure. What’s up?
Would you be mad if I said I was in contact with a certain someone you don’t like? (unsent)
Have I been distant the past couple of days?
Yeah. I wasn’t going to say anything, but you have. (unsent)
Yes. (unsent)
I dunno. Why? Are you okay?
Not particularly
Kurt, you can tell me anything.
I promise I won’t get upset.
You will get upset (unsent)
Um, remember when I said I was going for coffee with my coworker?
Yeah...
It was actually Wes (unsent)
We went for a walk afterwards
Wes kissed me (unsent)
So? It’s not like you and I had plans. It’s fine.
No, it’s not
My coworker tried to kiss me
I don’t know what you’re trying to tell me. (unsent)
Did you kiss them back? (unsent)
Was their try successful? (unsent)
[silence]
I left right afterwards
I haven’t talked to him since
I’m sorry
Who was it? (unsent)
Did you actually return the kiss? (unsent)
It’s okay.
No, it’s not. I didn’t get a chance to back away. I pulled away as soon as I realized what he was doing, though
So, you kissed him.
He kissed me. I stood there trying to figure out what was going on
So, you kissed him.
Blainey, I am so sorry. I didn’t know what he was going to do
It’s okay.
It’s not okay. I know you’re upset about it
No, it is. I’m not.
You would be if I told you who it was (unsent)
I feel terrible. I’ve felt terrible
Kurt, I forgive you.
It’s just going to be hard to forget. (unsent)
Are you sure?
Yes. It wasn’t your fault.
I have to go, I’m in class.
Okay, I’m sorry
Before Blaine makes it home from class, Kurt has arrived at Blaine’s apartment, clutching a flower arrangement and making use of his key to get inside. He places the arrangement, complete with an “I’m sorry” card on the coffee table and sits on the couch, biting his nails.
Blaine trudges up to his apartment, his eyes almost glazed over and red, the excuse for which he made on the metro being the wind on campus that day. He opens the door and drops his bookbag on the floor, staring at it for a second as he closes the door, then glancing up to notice Kurt. His face remains expressionless.
When Kurt hears the door opening, his entire body tenses. Once Blaine walks in, he stays still for a moment before he is unable to contain himself any more. Bouncing up, he dashes at Blaine, wrapping his arms around him and starting to cry.
“I am so sorry. So, so sorry. I’m sorry, Blainey!”
Blaine instantly wraps his arms around Kurt and inhales.
“I can’t not forgive you. It wasn’t your fault. But it sucks. And it’s hard.”
“It’s the reason why I was so distant. I was ashamed and upset and angry at myself. Mostly angry that I couldn’t tell you. But I didn’t want to tell you in front of Rach, either...”
“Why didn’t you just tell me right away?”
“Because I was scared.”
“Why were you so scared?”
“I don’t know. But... the last time I was kissed against my will I ended up transferring schools. Just so you know. Randomly.”
“I hope you’re not going to transfer out of the city. Long distance relationships have a history of not working for me. I don’t think I can handle being away from my boyfriend.”
Kurt gives a choked sob and clings tighter to Blaine.
“I’m not leaving. I hate long distance relationships. You... you called me your boyfriend...”
“I.. did. Is that not okay?”
“N-no... it’s okay. I just... I should have read the signs more clearly. W-when he-”
“Hey. Listen. I was in class when you told me earlier. I sat there, well, actually in the bathroom, for the rest of the day, trying to figure out what was going on in my head. And what might be going on in yours. And I love you. And I don’t want to have to push you out of my life because someone else thought you were attractive. Yeah, I’m not happy about it, but it wasn’t your fault. I’ve realized, at this point, that I don’t really want to be without you. And I’m not about to do anything to change that.”
“I love you so much.”
“You’re my favorite.”
Kurt presses a kiss to Blaine’s lips, still crying.
Blaine kisses back, pulling Kurt close, as though to symbolize how much he never wants to be apart from him.
Kurt pulls back slightly, leaning his forehead against Blaine’s.
“I love kissing you. Kissing him felt wrong. Kissing you is perfect.”
“I think that’s good for me, that I feel right to you. But it’s good for you too, because everything about you feels right. Everything.”
“Blaine...”
“My Kurt.”
“My Blaine.”
“My boyfriend Kurt. You don’t have to share me with anyone.”
“You don’t have to share me with anyone either. I love you.”
Blaine leans in and kisses Kurt again lightly.
“It might not have seemed like it a while ago, but this could be the best day all week.”
“Yeah, it could. I’m so glad...”
“I’m so glad there are no more secrets between us.”
Kurt freezes for a split second. He manages to contort his face to stay in the mild expression of content, although all he wants to do is break down and start crying again. Taking a deep breath that he hopes sounds more like he’s sighing, he blinks once.
“Yeah. Secrets are horrible.”
“They really are. I promise I’ll keep it true with my no secrets thing. You know, from back when we didn’t know each other and were just texting.”
“Yeah, I know. I’m glad.”
“So glad. You.. got me flowers?”
“Yeah. You like?”
“I do. Are those... forget-me-nots?”
“Forget-me-nots, chrysanthemums, peonies and hyacinths. I wanted to get flowers that showed how I felt. The forget-me-nots and the chrysanthemums represent love, and the peonies represent how I felt ashamed at what had happened. And the hyacinths are me asking forgiveness from you. I was thinking about getting roses or tulips, but they seemed too cliché, so I decided on chrysanthemums instead. Forget-me-nots are clichéd too, but they were perfect because I’ll never forget you. And the peonies and hyacinths were no brainers. There were others I could have added but it would have taken longer to put together and I wanted to be here before you got home from class and-”
“Kurt. Kurt. They’re fantastic. Even the cliché ones, because let’s face it, I’m a sap. They’re beautiful, and I love them, and you’re beautiful and I love you.”
Blaine wraps his arms around Kurt in the most affectionate hug he’s ever given.
“And I’ll never stop.”
Kurt can’t help the worried thoughts when he thinks about the secret he’s still keeping from Blaine, but he manages to control his expression.
“I’m glad. I love you too. I’ll never stop loving you. I don’t want to ever have to say goodbye to you.”
“Just promise me you’ll love me forever, because even when you’re upset, I can’t stop myself from falling in love with you.”
“I promise. I’ll love you as long as I live. Blaine Anderson, I love you so much.”
Kurt kisses him softly.
“You are so perfect, Kurt.”
Blaine kisses Kurt in return, lightly touching his fingertips on Kurt’s cheeks.
“So are you. Can I cook you dinner tonight?”
“I can’t believe that’s even a question. Of course. You can do anything you want for me.”
“I’m glad. Let’s see what you have in that kitchen of yours.”
“Baking ingredients. Pasta. Baby carrots. They’re sort of a weakness. I lived off half a bag of them for a few days like, last month.”
“Blainey, I need to go shopping.”
“You wanna go to the grocery store with me, Kurtlet?”
“Depends on how you are in the grocery story. Will you be productive?”
“What do you mean by productive? I’m scared.”
“Well, we need to be quick and efficient.”
“You’re not going to make me hold the list and sit in the cart are you?”
“You’re too big to sit in the cart. But you will be holding the list. Pen and paper?”
Blaine pulls a pen and a notepad off of the top of the refrigerator, not looking at it before he hands it to Kurt, and missing the little Kurt + Blaine in a heart in the corner.
“So, wait, you would make me sit in the cart if I was small enough?”
“Maybe.”
Kurt takes the notepad and pen, noticing the artwork in the corner.
“Cute.”
He immediately sets off around the kitchen, taking stock of what Blaine has before starting to make a list of what he needs to make what he wants to make.
“I know a couple of recipes off by heart.”
“What are you making?”
“That’s for me to know and for you to try to figure out by what I buy at the store.”
“Oooh a guessing game. I like those. You do realize that I’m going to try to distract you too, right? I mean, efficiently. While holding the list.”
“No distractions. I’m ready. Let’s go.”
“Come on, the grocery store is boring without distractions. How about you give me a limit to the amount that I can do?”
Blaine picks up his keys and shoves them in his pocket, putting his coat on and standing by the door.
Kurt ignores Blaine and grabs his coat, slipping the list into his pocket. Once he’s ready to go outside, he walks over to the door and grins.
“We’ll see.”
“Do I have to beg?”
“Maybe.”
Blaine puts on his poutiest face as he closes the door behind them. He tugs on Kurt’s coat, and sticks his lower lip out.
“Pretty please?”
He bats his eyelashes at Kurt.
“You’re cute.”
“Distractions. What kind do you want?”
“This is plenty.”
“It is not. I could do a lot of other cute things.”
“Like what?”
Blaine smiles and takes Kurt’s hand, making him hold still for a second. He leans in and brushes his eyelashes on Kurt’s cheekbone.
“Like butterfly kisses.”
Kurt stands still, breathing through his nose.
“I’m going to get hungry if I don’t get stuff bought and cooking dinner.”
Blaine makes a disappointed face.
“Okay...”
“You can do that later, though. The butterfly kisses. I liked that.”
“Maybe.”
“You couldn’t refuse me.”
“I have will power. I could totally refuse you.”
“Oh, really, now?”
“Yes, really.”
“I’m really curious to see you try.”
“Oh, I can. No doubts about it. I’m like, an expert at refusing you.”
“I won once before.”
“Psh. I’ve been building my defense. Or is it offense? Whatever. I got this.”
“I know how to make you squirm.”
“I have incredible resistance powers. I can turn it off. Whatever it is that you’re talking about, that probably isn’t right anyway.”
“I guess we’ll see tonight after we eat.”
“Except you’ll forget.”
“I don’t forget.”
“I could make you forget.”
“Oh, really now? How do you propose that?”
“That’s a secret. I have super powers.”
“Of course you do. Now I need to concentrate on finding stuff in here. Just tell me what’s next on the list.”
Kurt hands Blaine the grocery list as they walk into the store.
“Oh, fine. Mushrooms.”
Blaine stares at Kurt, trying to catch his eye.
“Ah, yes. Produce. Let’s see... these look good... what?”
Biting his lip, Blaine smirks and shakes his head.
“Dork.”
“Onion.”
“I’m going to make you cry with that onion.”
“Don’t hit me with it. I’m kind of a wuss when it comes to pain.”
“Haha, fine. Next.”
“Garlic cloves.”
“Delicious.”
“Let’s see, what’s next... Oh, kiss Blaine.”
“Maybe after I’ve tasted the garlic.”
“Hey I’m no vampire. And, it’s next on the list. You’d better get it, or your list-holder will get in trouble.”
“Where does it say that? Hand it here.”
Blaine holds up the list for a fraction of a second, pointing to it randomly and then shoves it in his pocket, all while holding back a giggle.
“Right here. Quick! We’re not being efficient!”
“Dork. I want to get cooking, we need to hurry. Just tell me the next item.”
“I dunno, that seems like a major ingredient. But alright, Chef Ramsay. Ham.”
“You’re impossible.”
Kurt rolls his eyes and leans in, giving Blaine a quick peck on the cheek before turning and marching off towards the meat department.
Blaine smiles a quite cheesy smile and follows after Kurt.
“Not impossible. Actually, probable.”
“Whatever. Let’s go get the ham, Ham.”
“I’m not a fan of that nickname. Also, can you make sure we don’t get ham that’s cured with like, cloves? I mean, I dunno if that’s even the right word. I just am not a huge fan of spice.”
Kurt freezes for a split second, remembering the last conversation he had about spice. He recovers quickly and grins.
“I don’t like spice either. So we’re good.”
“Oh good. I do have an idea for this dessert though, can I make you some dessert?”
“What kind of dessert?”
“It’s sort of this creme brule, but it’s a twist. It’s got chocolate and vanilla.”
“Chocolate and vanilla mix well. Good choice.”
“I think so too.”
Seriously. Chocolate and vanilla are the perfect match. Anyone can see it.”
“Yes! Exactly! Other people are always like, mix it with cinnamon and whatever, and I’m just like, no. Chocolate and vanilla.”
“Vanilla and cinnamon don’t taste well together at all. It’s just wrong.”
“They absolutely don’t. I mean, I’ll admit that I like cinnamon on my cocoa, but I am not a fan if it in anything else. At all. Especially desserts.”
“I’ve tried vanilla chai, and it just doesn’t work for me.”
“I hate chai. In general.”
“I think I’m heading in that direction. We should keep going, or I won’t have time to cook.”
“Oh, right. Sorry. Yeah, we need whipping cream. That’s it.”
“Alright. Let’s go get that, then we can head home.”
Blaine leads the way to the dairy section, stopping in front of the glass door with the different types of cream behind it.
“Whipping cream... Here. Okay, list is done. Though, that little ingredient that really is the main ingredient, you know, the one you pretty much skipped over, I think you should get more of that.”
“There’s enough of that at home.”
“But it looks so good here.”
“Let’s go, Blainey.”
Kurt starts walking towards the checkout counter.
“Oh, fine.”
Disappointed, Blaine follows Kurt.
After paying, Kurt leads the way back to Blaine’s apartment.
“Well that was a nice shopping trip.”
“Boring, if you ask me.”
“Oh, you sap.”
“Ham. Sap. Three-lettered nicknames. When are you going to test my ability to resist?”
“You can’t know or you’ll prepare for it.”
“I’m already prepared. I mean, I’m always prepared. Just in case. You know.”
“Right.”
“Fine, don’t believe me. Soon, I’m going to start using my arsenal of weapons against you.”
Kurt remains silent until they reach Blaine’s apartment, smirking.
Blaine takes the lead once they get inside the building, pulling out his keys and unlocking the door. He lets Kurt go inside first.
“Ahh, home sweet home.”
“Yeah...”
As soon as Kurt walks through the door, he puts down his bag of groceries and spins around, grabbing Blaine and kissing him.
Blaine barely has the door closed when he feels Kurt grab for him and kiss him. He kisses back, truly not having been expecting the attack now. He drops his keys on the floor and wraps his arms around Kurt.
Kurt works his fingers through Blaine’s hair, still not loving the hair gel. Soon, he moves to kiss along Blaine’s jawline, plan in mind.
A smile stretches across Blaine’s face as Kurt kisses lower. He inches himself out of his coat, letting that fall on the floor. He closes his eyes in an attempt to actually resist the power of Kurt.
Kurt doesn’t bother getting out of his coat, but focuses on Blaine. He is glad that Blaine discarded his coat, though, since it leaves Kurt’s destination available. Kissing down Blaine’s neck, he finally reaches his collarbone which he peppers with kisses.
Blaine tries to keep his breathing even, and is fairly successful until Kurt reaches his collarbone. He tries to concentrate on something else, but he can’t think of anything besides how soft Kurt’s lips are against his own skin, and how his knees are starting to go weak.
Kurt smirks and moves back up towards Blaine’s ear.
“What was that about being able to resist me?”
A chill runs through Blaine’s entire body.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“I think you do.”
With all of his willpower, Blaine pushes away from Kurt and tries to act cool, stepping away a few steps and watching the other.
“You... haven’t won yet.”
Kurt breathes in through his nose and grins.
“Okay. I’m going to go cook dinner now.”
“Oh, yeah. You go ahead. I’m going to get out my torch and make some dessert.”
“Have fun.”
Having stored the torch in his bedroom, heads in that direction, trying not to tear out his own hair on the way. Once inside, he flips the light switch and lets out a very frustrated sound, takes a deep breath, and finds the torch.
Kurt grits his teeth and breathes harshly as he starts preparing the pasta dish he had decided on.
Appearing suddenly, Blaine gets out his ingredients.
“I’m going to need a burner, if that’s okay.”
“Yeah, it’s fine.”
Blaine pulls out a double boiler from a bottom cabinet and puts water in the bottom half, then setting it on the stove and dumping a bunch of chocolate chips in the top part. He peeks into the bottom part and innocently bumps his hip into Kurt.
“Oops.”
Kurt raises an eyebrow. He reaches across Blaine as if to grab a spice jar, but seems to reconsider. As he brings his arm back towards him, he lets his fingers graze across Blaine’s collarbone.
“Sorry about that.”
Blaine’s lips form a thin line and he closes his eyes for a second, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly. He then continues whisking his chocolate.
“Oh, that’s okay.”
“Mhm, chocolate.”
“You want a taste?”
Blaine raises an eyebrow and swipes his finger in the not-quite-blistering chocolate, and holds it out for Kurt.
“Sure.”
Kurt takes Blaine’s hand and licks the chocolate off, his free hand inching towards the boiler and swiping up some of the chocolate. Bringing his hand back towards him, he smirks and swipes his fingers across Blaine’s cheek.
“You’ve got some chocolate there.”
Blaine’s eyes are fixed on his own hand, and the fact that Kurt is doing a very effective job of licking off the chocolate, and he doesn’t notice Kurt’s plan until the chocolate is actually on his face. He smiles, through a slight blush, and swipes more chocolate out of the boiler, reaching across and leaving a trail of it down Kurt’s neck.
“So’ve you. Want me to get that?”
Kurt raises his eyebrows and leans in, licking some of the chocolate off of Blaine’s cheek.
“I get to go first.”
Blaine tries to remember that he’s attempting to resist Kurt.
“Sounds... fair.”
“Good...”
Kurt swipes more chocolate and puts it on Blaine’s neck as he licks the rest off his cheek.
“Oops, looks like I’m not done.”
Blaine is still, though only because he’s, with good reason, leaning against the counter behind him. Resisting is getting harder and harder, and his voice gives that away with it’s sudden softness.
“Oh, darn.”
“Almost done.”
Kurt continues licking down Blaine’s neck, making sure to make a pitstop by his collarbone, intent on making Blaine fall apart.
Blaine’s breath catches and he leans fully on the counter now. His knees are betraying him, and he shakes the tiniest bit.
Finally, Kurt kisses Blaine on the lips, traces of chocolate still on his.
Kissing back with a force that says, ‘Who cares about food,’ Blaine leans away from the counter, wrapping his arms around Kurt, forgetting about the chocolate on his own hands.
Kurt’s brain fixates on one thing only - kissing Blaine - and forgets that he has fettuccine boiling. He wraps his arms around Blaine and holds him close.
Blaine forces his lips to leave Kurt’s, and trails kisses down the other’s neck, reaching the spot where he’d left the chocolate mark.
“Mmm, you taste good.”
“Y-you taste b-better.”
“No, I don’t think so.”
“Subjective opinion.”
“If you can use words like that right now, I’m not working hard enough.”
Blaine offers a nibble on the side of Kurt’s neck, then kissing down to his collarbone.
Kurt’s breath hitches and he presses his lips to the side of Blaine’s neck, on his pulse point.
Blaine’s hands grip at the fabric of Kurt’s shirt, and he kisses back up the other’s neck, finishing with a fantastic kiss right on Kurt’s lips.
Kurt kisses back, testing his own resolve. When he finally pulls back, he smirks.
“I’m going to check on my pasta now.”
He turns back to the stove, stirring the fettuccine.
“Oh, okay fine. I have dessert to make anyway.”
He glances to the chocolate, knowing that he needs to stir it immediately, but his legs aren’t cooperating with him. He takes a deep breath, locking his eyes onto Kurt’s lips, and turns toward the stove, stirring the chocolate, and switching off the burner.
Kurt pretends to focus on preparing the rest of his dinner, although he sneaks glances at Blaine every so often.
Blaine gets out his ramekins and pours a mixture into them, topping it off with the chocolate from the boiler, and swirling it together. He doesn’t care about dessert anymore, except for the little bit of chocolate left on Kurt’s neck.
Soon enough, Kurt’s main course is complete.
“Time to eat.”
“Finally. I mean, great! I’ll put these in the oven. I’ll have to torch them right before we eat them.”
“Alright. Can’t wait to try what you made.”
“I could try part of it now. There’s still some on your neck.”
“Go ahead.”
Blaine raises his eyebrows.
“You do realize that you put me in a very difficult situation, don’t you?”
“Did I?”
“Oh yes. See, if I take your bait, you win, because I’m officially weak. But, if I don’t take the bait, then there’s still a chance you’re going to win later, and I’ll have missed out on the chance to... get that chocolate off of your neck.”
“It’s your choice, Blaine.”
“Oh, well, if it’s completely up to me, then, I know what I’m picking.”
Blaine gets out plates and silverware, setting them on the table neatly. He pulls out a chair for Kurt.
“Have a seat, Mr. Hummel.”
“Why thank you, Mr Anderson.”
As Kurt sits, Blaine crosses behind him, but stops, leaning down and doing away with the last bit of chocolate left on Kurt’s neck. He then takes his seat as though nothing happened.
“Dinner looks fantastic, Kurt.”
Kurt bites his lip as Blaine gets the last bit of chocolate and breathes through his nose. Once he composes himself, he smiles pleasantly at Blaine.
“Why thank you. It’s one of my favourite recipes.”
“I should hire you as my personal chef.”
“Sorry, not for hire. I’m only for hire as a fashion consultant.”
Blaine puts down his fork and looks at Kurt, a weird fiery look in his eyes.
“Will you change my font, Kurt?”
“What would you like me to change it to?”
“You’re the consultant.”
“We’ll work on it after dinner.”
“I might consider doing away with the gel. But you’re going to have to consult with me about that. For sure.”
“I remember our deal. And I’m still thinking about it. But there are other things that could be changed.”
Picking his fork back up, Blaine twists some fettuccini onto it, and hesitates before taking the bite, glancing over at Kurt. Without another thought, he holds it out for Kurt instead.
“For you.”
Kurt smiles fondly and leans forward, taking the bite of food.
“Thank you.”
“Mhm. You know, it’s going to be hard for me to get through dinner.”
“Why?”
“I can’t stop thinking about ...dessert.”
Blaine stares at Kurt.
Kurt stares back.
“You’ve got a point there.”
“I’m really anxious to see how the mixing of the chocolate and the vanilla works out.”
“You know, I think I may have eaten enough.”
“Oh? Should I break out my torch?”
“I think so.”
Blaine stares at Kurt for probably too long and scoots his chair out, standing up and heading to the kitchen. He pulls the ramekins from the oven and sets them on a plate, grabbing the torch and taking everything back out to Kurt.
“Torch.”
“Why am I suddenly afraid of you playing with fire?”
“I think I’ve been playing with fire for long enough. I’m almost an expert. Though, I’ve never actually used this torch before.”
“I’m going to stand over here, as far away from you as possible.”
“You don’t have to be scared, Kurt.”
Looking down at the torch, Blaine raised his eyebrows in a ‘here’s to hoping’ sort of look, and clicked the igniter once, a little blue flame shooting out the tip. He took it to the tops of the chocolaty warm mixture, crystallizing a layer and watching the last bit of it bubble to what he thought looked like perfection. He let go of the trigger.
“Not so bad.”
Kurt watches from across the room, apprehensively. Once Blaine is finished, he walks back over and looks at the finished dessert.
“It actually looks really good.”
“Add a little heat to anything, and it’s fantastic.”
“Oh, yes. Definitely. I’m excited to taste it now.”
“Me too, you have no idea.”
Blaine slides one of the little chocolate desserts over a bit for Kurt, and holds out a spoon. He takes one for himself, cracking through the crispy top and dipping into the chocolate below.
“Cheers.”
Kurt takes a bite and smiles.
“Wow, that’s really good, Blainey.”
“Mhm. You know, I kind of just threw this together in my head. I’ve never made it before. Be impressed.”
“Oh, wow. I am impressed. Good job, sweetie.”
“Why, thank you. And, that’s a much better nickname than Sap or Ham. Though, I kind of like Blainey.”
“Blainey is my favourite.”
“That’s my line. Kurtlet. You’re my favorite.”
“And you’re mine.”
With a smirk, Blaine swipes his finger into his wonderful dessert, and waves it at Kurt.
“You, uh...”
He steps closer to Kurt, stretching his hand out.
“Have a little...”
“Oh?”
“Right here.”
Blaine trails his finger down Kurt’s neck again.
Kurt raises an eyebrow and stands still, staring at Blaine with a smirk.
“Thought you’d want to know.”
Blaine raises his eyebrows at Kurt, biting his lip through a smirk, and purposely catches his finger on the collar of Kurt’s shirt as he brings his hand back to himself.
“Ah, yes. Thank you... would you mind getting that for me?”
“Oh, sure. Where was it again? Here?”
Deliberately missing the smear he just made, Blaine kisses below Kurt’s ear.
“Dork.”
“Or, is it here?”
He kisses down the side of Kurt’s neck, still missing the smear.
“Blainey...”
“Mmyes?”
“Stop teasing.”
Without another word, Blaine finds the chocolate, effectively licking it perfectly, and gently, from Kurt’s neck, and then stands back.
“Got it.”
“Thank you.”
Kurt lunges forward and grabs Blaine’s head, kissing him firmly.
Blaine kisses back, snaking his arms around Kurt’s waist.
“Perfect night.”
“Everything’s perfect with you.”
“We could clean up. Or we could cuddle.”
“I pick door two.”
“Alright then. Come on.”
Blaine passes Kurt and turns around to walk backwards into the living room so that he can smirk at the other.
“Cuddle time. You’re not going to know what hit you.”
“I’m looking forward to finding out.”
Turning around, Blaine almost dances over to the couch, standing by the middle cushion and glancing at Kurt before he falls onto the thing, kicking his shoes off and putting his feet up, effectively taking up the entire seating area.
Kurt rolls his eyes and quickly crosses over to the couch. His eyes twinkle in amusement.
“There’s no room for me.”
“Sure there is. You have no imagination.”
Leaning up, Blaine makes a grab for Kurt and tries to pull him down onto the couch with him.
“I have plenty of imagination.”
Kurt lets Blaine pull him down so he’s lying on top of the other, their faces quite close. He gives Blaine a quick peck on the lips.
Blaine smiles up at Kurt, resting his hands on the other’s hips.
“This is familiar.”
“Very.”
“Oh! Hey. I wanted to ask you, are you ticklish?”
Blaine’s fingers jerk to life, poking Kurt’s sides.
“N-no, I’m n-not...”
“Oh, okay. So you don’t mind if I keep trying?”
Blaine wiggles his fingers up Kurt’s one side, holding onto him from the other, just in case anything crazy happened, and Kurt decided to try and get away by falling off the couch.
Kurt tries to hold himself together, clenching his teeth.
“No. N-not at a-ah-all.”
“Oh, that’s good.”
Blaine holds on tight on the one side, and really lets Kurt have it on the other.
Kurt starts laughing and begging for Blaine to stop, squirming around on top of him.
Blaine doesn’t stop tickling, but laughs along with Kurt.
“I thought you weren’t ticklish?”
“I’m... not...”
“Oooh, okay.”
Pausing for just a second, he shoots a mock-questioning look at Kurt, and within seconds continues his tickling mission, finding the entire thing incredibly adorable.
“Oh, FINE, I am ticklish! Stoppit!”
Blaine stops and runs his hands down Kurt’s back.
“Mhm.”
“Not fair.”
“So fair. You know, you’re incredibly, perfectly adorable.”
“And you’re a lovable dork.”
“Guilty.”
“You’re incredible.”
“You’re going to make me want to kiss you again.”
“Good.”
Blaine leans up, running his fingers through Kurt’s hair and kisses him, letting out a small sigh as he does so.
Kurt smiles contentedly into the kiss, working his fingers through Blaine’s hair, trying to loosen the gel.
Blaine chuckles, and reaches up to his own hair, quickly working the gel out of it, so that his hair is a delightfully curly mess, and proceeds to kiss Kurt again.
Kurt pulls back enough to speak.
“So that’s what your hair looks like without gel.”
“Funny.”
“Actually, it’s kind of cute.”
“Sure it is. In a scary, haunted mansion kind of way.”
“Really, it is. I love it. I love you.”
“It’s okay, you don’t have to lie about my hair. But, I love you too.”
“I will get you out of here with no gel. It’ll be part of my changing your font.”
“I’m starting to rethink that changing my font thing. I mean, as president, don’t I get veto powers?”
“Not fair.”
“A lot of things aren’t fair. I mean, I can think of at least three things off the top of my head, about laying on this couch with you, that aren’t fair.”
“And they are...?”
“As president, I veto having to tell you.”
Kurt attaches his lips to Blaine’s collarbone.
Blaine’s breath catches.
“No... not...going to work...”
Kurt pretends not to hear Blaine and starts sucking on his collarbone, nipping gently.
Blaine attempts to breathe evenly, failing miserably, but never makes an attempt to stop Kurt.
“It’s haa-it’s not... working...”
Kurt doesn’t answer and moves to a different spot, resuming his activities.
“Kurt... I.. you... If you don’t stop...”
Blaine starts to squirm.
Kurt finally looks up.
“Yes?”
Face flushed, and breathing heavy, Blaine lays his head back, his eyes closed.
“You don’t even want to know. Or maybe you do, I don’t know. But I don’t think I’m going to tell you.”
Kurt resumes in a different spot.
Blaine sucks in a massive gulp of air.
“Kurt... D-don’t... It’s.. “
“Tell... me... what’s... not.... fair...”
“Can’t.”
Kurt has a different idea.
“Alright.”
He starts to slide off of Blaine and off of the couch.
Blaine’s eyes open and he gets a frantic look on his face.
“What? I.. you... Where are you going?”
“You won’t tell me. So I’m going to clean up in the kitchen.”
“No. God. I have a love-hate relationship with your whole I’m-going-to-make-you-say-it game. You... are just so.. damn hot.”
“I’m glad to hear it... you... you are so hot... too.”
Blaine bites his bottom lip.
“Don’t wash the dishes.”
“Why not?”
“Because I want you... to stay here.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, really.”
“Sit up.”
Blaine does as he’s told, and sits up, staring at Kurt.
Kurt walks back over and sits down next to Blaine, looking into his eyes.
“Much better.”
He kisses Blaine, fiercely.
Blaine is hardly in control of himself, and takes hold of Kurt, kissing him back and trying to move closer.
Kurt fights to stay in control, holding Blaine where he is.
Breathless, Blaine doesn’t put up much of a fight, and let’s Kurt keep him there.
“Love you so much.”
“Hngg.. Love you... too.”
Kurt reaches up and shuts off the lights.
