"Hey Blaine?" Kurt turned slightly from where he was laying on the bed to look at Blaine, who was strewn across the floor.
"Yeah?" Blaine opened one of his closed eyes and peeked over at Kurt. Kurt rolled off of his bed and crawled over to Blaine, sitting lightly on his stomach.
"Want to go for a walk? I'm going kind of stir crazy, sitting in the house all day."
"Sure, but you're going to have to get up." Blaine smiled up at Kurt.
"Aw but B you're so comfy!" Kurt fake pouted at his boyfriend.
"I guess we're staying inside then... Damn that sucks because I was going to buy us ice cream."
"Oh you are such a tease." The two boys chuckled and stood up, making their way down the stairs.
"Hey, boys. What are you up to?" Carole said from the couch.
"We're just going to the park. The house is getting a tad boring." Kurt smiled at Carole.
"Okay then. Have fun." Carole smiled and turned back to her magazine. "Oh wait, sweetie your father said to stop by the shop around four."
"Okay. Bye, Carole." Kurt and Blaine left through the front door and walked to the park hand in hand, talking about the things both the New Directions and the Warblers did that were funny or crazy.
When they got to the park, they instantly went to the ice cream stand, both getting vanilla cones. They sat peacefully on a bench, eating in silence. When they were done, Blaine insisted that they lie in the grass and soak up the sun.
Suddenly, Kurt heard Blaine giggling beside him. He slowly opened his eyes to see Blaine stroking a Beagle's stomach, the dog almost as happy as Blaine.
"Kurt, look! He's so cute!" Blaine exclaimed, not taking his eyes off the dog. Kurt just laughed at his easily excited boyfriend.
"You know, it's not really nice to steal people's puppies." He said jokingly.
"He came to me. I must say it was a bit odd having a wet nose tickle my neck."
Kurt and Blaine just sat there, stroking the dog's stomach. They both had smiles on their faces, and occasionally giggled when the dog made a content noise.
"Hagrid, there you are! Why'd you wonder off like that, boy?" A girl in her teens knelt down with Blaine and Kurt and smile at them.
"I'm sorry. He likes to wander. I'm Tammy." The girl stuck her hand out for Kurt to shake, which Kurt did.
"I'm Kurt." Tammy turned towards Blaine and shook his hand.
"I'm Blaine. So you're a Harry Potter fan?" Blaine's smile widened as the dog let out a bark.
"Oh god yes, it's taken over my life. All of my pets are named after a character. I have a lot of pets."
"Really, like what?" Kurt asked.
"Well, I have Hagrid here. Then I have a Canary named Hedwig, a cat named Crookshanks, a Gerbil named Ginny, and two fish named Fred and George." She spoke with a look that could only be concentration, as if she were trying to remember all her pets and their names.
Blaine chuckled. "You are like, my new favourite person." Kurt turned to him with a raised eyebrow. "Well, my second favourite. If I could have pets, I would want a goat with a beard so I could name it Dumbledore. Oh! Kurt! When we movie to New York can we get two dogs? One of those dogs with the really long facial fur so we could name it Dumbledore and a smart one so we can name it Hermione!" Blaine turned to Kurt with a hopeful expression.
"If we can find an apartment that allows pets, then we are getting pets. Or maybe we'll get a small house." Kurt bumped Blaine's shoulder and smiled.
"Well guys I'd love to stay and talk about pets and Harry Potter, but my girlfriend is definitely going to wonder where I went, or if I fell down the rabbit hole or something." Tammy said, attaching a leash to Hagrid and standing up.
"You're gay? Sorry, I just wouldn't have guessed." Blaine smiled up at her.
"A lot of people don't guess that. I assume you two are, too?"
"Proudly so." Kurt said.
"Well I hope I'll see you two soon. I moved here in the middle of the semester, so I don't have many friends outside of school."
"Where do you go?"
"Well, it's not that well known, but it's the sister school of Dalton Academy."
"No way! I go to Dalton!" Blaine said happily.
"I used to go to Dalton. I transferred back to McKinley, though."
"Oh! That's awesome! Well I really better- ah, crap," Tammy looked across the field to see her girlfriend with a worried look on her face, "Well I've done it again. See you guys later." She smiled and waved, before running towards the end of the field where her girlfriend stood.
"That was the most interesting introduction I've ever had." Blaine said.
"Even more interesting then the spy on the staircase?"
"Never." Blaine smiled and went in for a kiss.
