Blaine loved looking at the moon and stars when they were bright in the sky at midnight. He usually sat on his porch or the roof of his house and just watched them; thinking about being up so high nobody could touch you or even think to bring you down. Sometimes he wished that upon himself, but he knew that if he started hoping and it never happened, it would be more un- needed disappointment.
But this time was different. This time, he was out in the middle of nowhere (well... still around other people, but for the most part, nowhere), beside a huge tent holding Carole and Kurt, and Blaine, if he was inside. There was another tent right across the lot holding Burt, Finn, and Sam. This time, he looked up at the sky and felt that nothing could touch him and Kurt, and nothing could bring them down. They were in this together, and Blaine didn't just hope anymore, he knew. No more false hopes and unnecessary disappointment.
The sound of the tent holding Carole and Kurt opening registered in his mind, but he couldn't be brought to look away from the sky.
"Blaine? What are you doing out here? It's..." Kurt checked his watch, "Midnight."
"I'm watching the stars. Care to join me?" Blaine asked, finally turning away from the sky to look at Kurt. Kurt smiled.
"Sure." He crawled to Blaine and sat in his lap, resting his head on Blaine's shoulder. He looked up at the stars.
"They're beautiful." Kurt said as he turned his head back to Blaine, only to find that he wasn't looking at the stars, but he was looking at him.
"Yeah. They are." Kurt turned completely around, on his knees in front of Blaine's crossed- legged form. They looked at each other for a while, slowly leaning in, and closing their eyes. Their lips touched for a second, and then they pulled apart and smiled at each other. They leaned in again, this kiss more passionate than the last. They stayed kissing like that for a while, before they needed to come up for air.
They pulled apart once again and looked into each other's eyes. As they went to lean in again, a loud snore came from Burt's tent.
"It's like he knows..." Blaine commented, making Kurt giggle.
"Well, it's midnight anyway, so we better get back to bed."
The two boys went back into the tent quietly, trying not to wake up Carole. They got back in their sleeping bags and cuddled as close together as possible before quickly falling asleep.

Ahhh I really love this! I actually wrote a chapter in one of my stories that was eerily similar to this, so it was awesome to see someone having a similar thought :) I love how Blaine's looking at Kurt- I literally could not stop saying 'Awwww!' It's kind of my head canon now that this happened at one point.
i'll definitley check out your story! its my head cannon too :D hooray for thinking alike!
i love this one the most–so far. star-gazing (or kurt-gazing as the case may be) is so romantic. and sharing that with the one you love, well, it just gives me chills. cheers!
thanks!
