Cooper was the rebel Anderson, whereas Blaine was supposed to be the goody two shoes. Blaine was reminded of Brian Kinney from Queer as Folk, but straight. When he came to a stop in front of Blaine, Blaine was still standing there in shock.
"Blaine, you gonna stand there all day or are you gonna hug me?" Cooper asked, raising his arms in invitation. Blaine ran into them.
"I missed you! Why haven't you been home in months?" Blaine asked when he pulled away.
"You've met our parents, don't tell me you would come home regularly if you had the choice not to."
"I don't have a brother at home that has to live with them." Blaine crossed his arms.
"You're right, I'm sorry. But, if it's any comfort to you, you do have a brother living at home now." Cooper made a face, hoping Blaine would catch on.
"You got canned." Blaine sounded sad for his brother. He did, after all, have a great paying job, and was basically the boss.
"Yeah, they said they just wanted to shake things up. Stupid, right?" Cooper tried not to look too hurt.
"I'm sorry, Coop. You should come to glee with me, it might cheer you up!" Blaine rested his hand on Cooper's bicep for a moment before motioning for him to follow down the hallway. They walked to glee together, catching up on the past couple of years.
"Wait," Cooper stopped the two,” when did you get a boyfriend?"
"You just missed our one year anniversary... so about a year ago."
Cooper cursed under his breath. They had a lot more catching up to do.
