On Monday morning, Blaine was waiting at Kurt’s locker.

“Good morning,” he said as soon as Kurt walked up.

“Hey,” Kurt said shyly. It was one thing for Blaine to want to hang out outside of school. Kurt couldn’t believe Blaine wanted to be seen with him during school.

Blaine waited while Kurt opened his locker and pulled a few notebooks out, chattering about the weather and everything else that popped into his head. Too soon, it was time to go to class. Blaine said goodbye and Kurt left for French. The class went by quickly, with Kurt contributing more to the discussion than he had in days. After the bell rang, he met Tina in the hall and they walked to English Lit together. When they entered the room, the sight of Blaine sitting at the desk in front of Kurt’s made his heart melt. Blaine smiled as Tina and Kurt walked over. As soon as Blaine turned around to say something, the jocks walked in. Blaine turned back around slowly, trying to make himself as small as possible so as not to attract attention. A few of the boys gave Blaine questioning looks but none of them said anything.

Kurt didn’t pay much attention in class that day. He was too focused on the back of Blaine’s head. Too focused on the unruly curls. Too focused on the olive skin on his neck. His imagination spun out of control, imagining Blaine on his knees in front of him, mouth on his cock.

When class ended, Kurt was forced to hold his books in front of his waist to avoid funny looks.

It took all of History for Kurt to reign in his imagination and calm down. He began to wonder if Blaine would sit with them at lunch. There was no reason for him not to. Kurt really hoped he would.

While waiting in line for his salad, Kurt felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to find Blaine looking at him sheepishly.

“Hey,” Blaine said.

“Hi,” Kurt replied. “You ok?”

“Yeah,” Blaine said quickly. “Um, I was just wondering if it would be ok for me to sit with you at lunch.”

“Of course!” Kurt said, relieved. “Wait a second and I’ll walk over there with you.

Blaine waited until Kurt had paid for his salad, and the two of them headed over to Kurt’s regular table. Mercedes, Tina, and Rachel were already there. They looked up and immediately looked at Kurt when they saw his guest.

“Hey, guys,” Kurt said. “This is, uh, Blaine.”

Rachel was the first to recover and held out her hand.

“Hi, Blaine,” she said. “I’m Rachel Berry, future Broadway star. It’s very nice to meet you,”

Blaine looked at Rachel as though he was wondering if she might be slightly crazy, but shook her hand all the same.

“Hi, Rachel,” he said. Then he looked at Tina. “You’re Tina, right? I think you’re in our English class.”

Tina nodded and smiled, pleased to be recognized. Kurt swooned over Blaine’s use of the word “our.” “Our”, “We”, “Us”.

Blaine looked at Mercedes next. “I’m Blaine.”

“Hey! I’m Mercedes,” she told him.

“Nice to meet you,” Blaine said. “I don’t think we have any classes together.”

“Damn. What a shame,” a voice said behind them. “It would be great to be able to look over in class and see that ass in those tight pants.”

Santana sat down beside Blaine. “Hey, pretty thing. Nice to meet you.”

Blaine looked at Kurt. “Should I be afraid?”

Kurt giggled. “No, she’s harmless.”

Blaine looked back at Santana. “I’m Blaine,” he said hesitantly.

“Santana,” she replied. “I hope I’ll be seeing a lot more of you around here.”

“So Blaine, how has school been so far?” Rachel interrupted, glaring at Santana.

“It’s been fine. The people are nicer here than at my old school,” Blaine replied, shooting a quick smile at Kurt.

Kurt turned to Mercedes. “I’m mad at you. I didn’t get a single phone call or text about your date.”

Mercedes looked alarmed for a moment, before smiling dreamily. “It was amazing, Kurt. He is so nice. We went to the movies and then had dinner at Breadstix.”

“That sounds nice. How did he say goodnight?” Kurt asked mischievously.

“There was a kiss on the cheek,” Mercedes said, knowing exactly what Kurt was asking.

“That’s boring!” Kurt complained. Mercedes smiled. The bell rang soon after and Blaine and Kurt rose together. Before they walked away, Kurt heard Blaine promise Rachel that he would see her tomorrow.

This chapter was really good. It made me happy to see that Blaine actually went out of his way to spend time with Kurt and to meet Kurt's friends.
