Author's Notes:

As usual, I am ridiculously sorry about the late update! I had finals and the holidays and this year is just crazy but anyways. Heres the chapter! Heres where I beg for reviews. Anyways, enjoy! :)

“So anyways, last night we were eating dinner and the phone goes off. Dad grumbles about those ‘damn solicitors calling during dinner' and gets up to answer it. He's just about to tell the guy to go fuck himself, when he stops midsentence. I swear to God guys I've never seen a man's eyes get so wide in my entire life. I thought they were going to take over his entire face!” Blaine toppled over laughing his arm grabbing his locker door to keep himself steady.

“Dude come on who was on the phone!” Finn whines

“Yeah Anderson don't be such a cock tease, who the fuck was it?!” Puck yelled, punching Blaine in the arm.

Blaine, ever the showman, paused and looked at the 3 boys for dramatic effect. He lowered his voice and held a sly smirk, “It was Cooter Menkins.”

Sebastian gasped, “Holy Shit.”

Finn stutted, “Cooter MENKINS? As is, Ohio State's head football coach Cooter Menkins?!”

Blaine smirked and leaned against his locker, “That's the one.”

All three boys burst into cheers and slapped Blaine on the back.

“Dude that's awesome!!”

“I can't believe it!”

“You are one lucky son of a bitch Anderson!”

Blaine laughed again and shook his head, “Thanks guys! No it was the craziest shit I swear. He wants to meet with me today after school today to talk about ‘my bright, shining, and potentially free of charge career as a Buckeye.”

The boys cheered again and Blaine laughed, turning around to shut his locker door before the boys started walking down the hallways.

“Hi guys.” A female voice said, stopping the group in their tracks.

Finn smiled, “Hey babe.” He said, sliding his arm around his girlfriend.

Quinn blushed and leaned up to kiss Finn's cheek. “You know Blaine Misty's been asking about you lately. So has Tracey.” She said, causing the guys to roll their eyes, when weren't girls asking about Blaine.

Blaine snorted and shook his head, “I don't think so Quinn.” He replied as his phone buzzed in his pocket. He pulled it out and saw a text from Kurt, his mouth falling into a smile almost immediately.

I'm pretty sure if I have to listen to Rachel babble on about it not being fair that Finn is with Quinn when they are obviously soulmates, I'm going to light myself on fire. Please tell me you're almost ready to go to the Lima Bean for lunch?

Quinn scowled, “Well why not? They're both nice girls.”

Puck nodded, “Yeah man you haven't gotten any action in like months. What the fuck is up with you? You suddenly on team abstinence or something?”

Blaine smiled, sending out a quick reply to Kurt that he was on his way and put his phone back in his pocket. “I'm just not into it anymore guys. Anyways, I gotta go, I'll see you later.” He said hiking up his backpack and shuffling down the hallway.

---

“So Kurt what's going on with you and Blaine?” Tina asked glancing at Kurt who was staring longingly at his cell phone.

“Yeah white boy what's the deal?” Mercedes asked, bumping him with her hip and jolting the boy out of his trance. Kurt was visibly startled, and felt his face heat up in a blush.

“Um, I don't know what you mean. We're friends. You guys know that.

Mercedes snorted, “Kurt you look at that boy like he is some kindof God. Friends my ass.”

Tina nodded. Kurt looked between his best friends and sighed, “Okay look, I may have a slight crush on Blaine. But you both know that he is straight, and completely out of my league. So we're friends, that's it. Now can we please stop talking about this..”

“Stop talking about what, Peaches?” Blaine said suddenly sliding up to Kurt. “Hi girls!”

Kurt's eyes went wide behind his glasses and he dropped the books he was holding. He blushed and quickly reached down to grab them, “N-Nothing Blaine! We were just talking about Rachel and her ridiculous obsession with ugly sweaters.”

Blaine laughed loudly and leaned against Kurt's shoulder, “Well, I can't exactly argue with that, Rachel's fashion taste is a bit… interesting. Anyways, you ready to go?”

Kurt nodded and said a quick goodbye to Mercedes and Tina before taking off down the hallway with Blaine.

The girls watched them walk away before bursting into laughter.

“Oh god, they are completely hopeless.”

---

“That is so amazing Blaine. Honestly! I am beyond happy for you, you deserve this.” Kurt said fondly looking at is friend.

Blaine smiled widely and hung his head, “Thanks Kurt. That means so much to me.” He reached over and squeezed his hand, before sighing deeply and dropping his gaze.

Kurt tilted his head puzzled, “What's wrong B?”

Blaine looked around and scrunched his face up, “I just, what if I mess up Kurt? What if Cooter isn't impressed, what am I gunna do?” Blaine asked, eyes wide with panic.

“B, first off, there is no way you are going to mess up. You are an exceptional football player and you know it, don't doubt yourself. And if Cooter watches you and doesn't realize your potential, then we forget Ohio State and look at other schools. You're going to get something B, you're too exceptional not to.” Kurt said with a reassuring smile.

Blaine smiled back, eyes bright with joy, “Thanks pumpkin.” he said with a wink.

Kurt threw his head back and laughed, there's the cocky asshole he knew and lov- err enjoyed having around. “Yeah yeah of course Anderson. So your meeting is right after school today right?” Blaine nodded. “Damn, you mean I'm going to have to survive Glee without you?” Kurt said with a groan. He had gotten quite used to Blaine being in the choir room with him, talking nonstop and laughing constantly.

“Unfortunately you will love. But I'll call you right after I promise.”

Kurt smiled for what had to be the 50th time since they entered the coffee shop, “You better.”

---

Kurt's day had gone pretty smoothly after he and Blaine got back from lunch. He hadn't been bullied since Blaine had stood up for him in the hall that one day, so going to school was much easier. It wasn't like the magic acceptance fairy had gone around and waved her wand over every homophobe geek hater in the school or anything, but no one messed with him in particular anymore, which was pretty awesome. After the final bell that day rang he met up with Blaine for one final, Good Luck. You'll do Amazing. I'm rooting for you. Before Blaine had to leave and Kurt headed to Glee club.

He took his seat next to Mercedes and immediately became engrossed in the groups discussion. He was just about to yell at Tina for even thinking that Katy Perry was better than Lady Gaga when he heard a voice above him.

“Hey Kurt.” Kurt looked up and was a little surprised at who he saw.

“Hi Sebastian…” He said more than a bit confused. Sebastian had never tried to initiate a conversation with Kurt before. In fact, he wasn't sure if he had ever even heard the boy talk before, except for the occasional Yeah and Okay. He was without a doubt the quietest of Blaine's group and the one Kurt knew the least.

Sebastian fumbled with his backpack straps nervously before looking up at Kurt again, “Can I sit next to you” he asked glancing next to the empty seat to Kurt's left.

Kurt raised an eyebrow curiously but nodded. Sebastian looked relieved and sat quickly.

“So um, how's your day going?” he asked with a smile.

Kurt looked at him still confused, but smiled back, “Pretty good actually. You?” he said taking off his glasses and rubbing them on his sweater, trying to get rid of some very stubborn smudges.

Sebastian nodded with a smile, “Good good, that's good! And mine has been good, really good actually!”

Kurt stilled his action and looked at Sebastian with a smirk, “That's… good.” He said and they both broke into laughter. Kurt resumed his previous task of removing the smudge. “So what's up Sebastian, is there something you needed?” he asked.

Sebastian didn't answer for a moment, adjusting his letterman jacket nervously. “Um- well I was actually just wondering if- um- you, well- I mean if you maybe wanted to- if you'd be interested in, or um you'd consider maybe, going on a date… with me?”

Kurt's heart stopped and his breath caught in his throat, the glasses slipping from his hands, “W-what?”
