Author's Notes:

Ya girl has no side-effects (yet?)! Anyway, I’m trying hard to keep most chapters between 500 - 800 words and it’s actually quite nice.

Eddie Andrews: Are you a junior too?

Blaine Anderson: Yes.
Oh that’s rough.
You’re transferring for your senior year?

Eddie Andrews: Terrible, isn’t it?
How about you?
Why did you transfer?

Blaine Anderson: … that is kinda a long story.
I might tell you another day.
It’s… kind of a punishment.

Kurt groans in frustration. He doesn’t need to hear Blaine’s self-pitying story about how Dalton Academy is beneath him, how he traded the prestigious Dalton for the austere McKinley, and how it’s a punishment to be so much better than everyone.

Eddie Andrews: That’s fine.
I mean, we’re technically strangers.
I’m moving to Lima,
that’s why I’m transferring.
My mom got a new job, so.

Blaine Anderson: Do you have to leave
your friends from your old school behind?

Kurt rolls his eyes. What kind of question is that?

Eddie Andrews: Unfortunately.

Blaine Anderson: I hope you’ll find your place
here at McKinley.
I sure haven’t.

Eddie Andrews: That sounds rough.

Kurt has to use every muscle in his body to not scream out loud while typing that. Yes, that would be really rough if it were true.

Eddie Andrews: Yeah, maybe I’ll come
and find you next year at McKinley.

Blaine Anderson: That’d be nice.

Kurt looks down to the right bottom of his screen and he sees the time. He has to go to class soon. Break will be over in five minutes.

Eddie Andrews: Gtg. Talk to you later?

Blaine Anderson: ðŸ˜Š

Kurt logs off and he slips out of the computer room. Good thing the teacher who’s supposed to guard it is too drunk to even care about Kurt clearly using the computer for Facebook.

When he walks through the hallway, he passes Blaine from all people.

For once, he’s not surrounded by his horde of adoring fans. Kurt hides behind the lockers to watch him. Blaine’s on his phone, maybe messaging Eddie, and he indeed looks a bit sad. Is he genuinely sad?

Does Blaine Anderson truly believe that he doesn’t fit it? It’s laughable!

Kurt straightens his posture and he fixes his collar. He looks around to see if the coast is clear from homophobic Neanderthals. When there’s no jock in sight, he walks away.

With a head held high, he passes Blaine Anderson. Out of the corner of Kurt’s eye, he can see Blaime roll his eyes when he walks past.

Blaine can’t handle the truth. Kurt will find why Blaine is like this and when he does, it’s over. Kurt can already envision him and Rachel having Breakfast at Tiffany’s whilst Blaine will be stuck at Ohio State or Lima University.

Everything will work out for him.
