Author's Notes: Hope you liked it :) I guess this was more of a filler? Alough they clearly are getting closer--and took another step today! lol so I wanna see if anyone actually reads this. Should the next one have their date in it? I was thinking of contiuing it from this part (like walking home) and maybe add in a little drama before they even have a first date.idk, i'm just thinking out loud via typing xD anyway, please leave a comment! :) Thanks for reading, and follow my twitterrrr!@starkid_dork -- warning: i tweet a lot, usually rants about celebs or just random crap about klaine, darren, jonas brothers, etc. lol

When Kurt got back to his apartment, Rachel was right there at the door to find out every detail of his day with Blaine.

"Tell me Kurt! Please, I made popcorn and picked out all our favorite movies, I even made your favorite tea." Rachel babbled, moving her hands around animatedly.

"Rachel, Rachel! You didn't have to bribe me!" Kurt laughs, taking his shoes off. "But I do appreciate the offer. Let me change and I'll tell you all about it." He smiles, going off to his room. He sends Blaine a text, wanting him to know how much he loved tonight. He obviously can't gush too much, fearing that would only scare off Blaine. Kurt changes into sweatpants and a t-shirt while he and Blaine text a little more. Eventually he tells Blaine goodnight because he can tell Rachel is getting antsy, so he puts his phone down and wanders back into the makeshift living room of their apartment.

"Finally! Now come sit down." Rachel exclaims as she pulls on his hand, leading him towards the couch. She smiles at him after handing Kurt the cup of tea. "So. He's definitely gay too right?" Kurt chuckles as he blows lightly on his tea.

"Yes, he kinda just told me casually. Which is good, because I didn't wanna have to ask." Kurt sips his tea with a smile. "Everything was amazing. We just walked around and talked for hours, and ate dinner at that café you and I love, and he even paid for my meal. Then we got ice cream after and walked around more until it got late. This was the best afternoon and evening ever. Best date ever, actually."

"Aw I'm so happy for you!" Rachel smiles. "So did you kiss?"

"No, just a hug, but we only met today. I wanna get to know him first you know?" Kurt answers, eating some popcorn.

"True, and obviously this could be going somewhere. Are you gonna see him tomorrow?" She asks, reaching for the bowl.

"Yeah, I am." He smiles again. "We're meeting for breakfast. Maybe I'll even get to spend time with him after, because I have work at 4."

"Damn, I forgot we were on different shifts tomorrow. I'll be done when you start." Rachel sighs softly. "I'd love to officially meet him though. Maybe you can ask him out on a real date. You're not working on Friday."

"Hmm, that could be a good idea." Kurt nods thoughtfully. "We'll see. He might beat me to the punch though, since he clearly isn't afraid to just...ask me out." He chuckles. The rest of the night is filled with more conversations about Blaine, and watching/reciting the movie together. He couldn't wait to see Blaine tomorrow.

Kurt was just about to text Blaine that he's in the lobby when the dark-haired dreamboat walked through the elevator's opening door. He was wearing dark-washed shorts, a grey v-neck shirt and flip-flops. Compared to last night, he looked so casual, yet still managed to look so damn good in Kurt's eyes. One thing that was off though, were the small dark circles under his eyes, a clear sign of a lack of sleep. But Kurt didn't want to worry about that now.

"Hey," Kurt smiled, smoothing out his perfectly quaffed hair under his
black cap absentmindedly.

"Hi there," Blaine smiled tiredly back, but nonetheless warming. "You look great. I look like a bum compared to how you're dressed." He chuckles. Okay so Kurt did get carried away this morning, but he wanted to look good for Blaine. He paired his grey cut-off pants with a stylish white shirt. His plan obviously worked.

"Thank you," Kurt blushed slightly. "You look great too though, very relaxed." He smiles. They head out of the hotel and onto the sunny sidewalks of NYC.

After about the third time Blaine yawned, Kurt spoke up. "So you look pretty tired...trouble sleeping?"

"Well um..." Blaine hesitated. He already told Kurt about his bullied past, but he didn't want to have that be a conversation they always had. It would just bring down the mood. "Yeah. I was just pretty excited for today." He gives Kurt a smile. It wasn't a lie exactly, he did think about today while trying to rid the haunting thoughts of his past.

"Oh okay," Kurt smiles. He can tell Blaine isn't telling him everything, but he won't press on about it. "I'm pretty excited too. Because this place we're going for breakfast has THE best pancakes ever. You'll love it." Blaine chuckles at his excited antic. Kurt's energy is almost contagious; it instantly puts Blaine in a better mood.

"Can't wait to try them," Blaine responds, glancing at Kurt slightly. Yep, he could get used to this.

After piles of pancakes and endless conversations, the boys finish their breakfast. Blaine was definitely in a better mood now, Kurt noticed. Kurt may have thought that Blaine was probably just hungry, but in reality, Blaine's mood was better because he was with Kurt. His nightmares from last night were starting to fade away, and the happiness he feels with Kurt took their place.

"Okay, I honestly don't know how I ate all those pancakes," Blaine laughs, rubbing his flat belly. "I think I have a food baby."

"A food baby?" Kurt laughs too. "You have the cutest ways of describing things you know that?" And with that, Kurt actually made Blaine blush.

"Oh stop," Blaine chuckles. "But really, that was so good. Can we go here for breakfast more often? It can be our little thing." He smiles at Kurt.

"I'd love that," Kurt smiles back. "Oh and since I thought of this, I'm paying for our food." He adds in, taking out some money.

"Fine," Blaine sighs dramatically. "But from now on I wanna pay. My parents raised me to be a gentleman." He smiles, standing up after Kurt puts the money on the table. The walk out of the place and start heading back to the hotel.

"So you're planning on buying me food again?" Kurt said half-jokingly, but he really did want to know if Blaine wanted to keep seeing Kurt.

"Yeah, unless you don't want me to," Blaine answers, looking over at Kurt as they walked. "I mean I know we only met yesterday, but I'd like to see if we could...try going somewhere with this. Like going on real dates and what not."

Kurt was almost speechless for a second, taken aback at how straightforward Blaine was being. Kurt definitely didn't mind, but he didn't think it would happen so soon.

"I would like that too. A lot actually," Kurt smiles. "And there's nothing wrong with going on a few dates, we don't have to make it like a super official thing unless we feel it's right."

"Yeah, exactly," Blaine says, practically beaming. "For the record, I'm glad I ordered room service yesterday, because then we might have never met."

Kurt blushes slightly, but smiles widely at this. Never had he met a guy so honest to him, nor has he met one he practically fell in love with the moment he saw him.

"Me too, and I'll even forgive you for making me carry that tray up to you." Kurt says playfully, causing Blaine to laugh.

"Good, because I won't make you bring up that much food to me again," Blaine chuckles. He glances down at Kurt's hand and gently grabs it with his own, intertwining their fingers. Blaine takes a deep breath to shake his nerves for what he's about to say. "So speaking of real dates...why don't we go on one this Friday?"

Kurt looks at him and smiles, his heart racing for two reasons—Blaine just asked him on a real date, AND he's holding his hand. He feels like a 14-year-old girl acting all giddy like this, but he doesn't care. "Yes, of course. I don't work Friday so that's perfect."

"Great," Blaine smiles, relieved Kurt didn't reject him. "We can go catch a movie, and maybe get dinner after."

"Yeah, I'd like that." Kurt replies shyly; he hasn't felt this way for anyone in years. Kurt was never a fan of thinking summer romances were everlasting, but after meeting Blaine at room 321 yesterday, he was starting to think that these "silly summer romances" were better than they seemed.
