Jeremiah “Johnny” Gal-aria, was named dead. The whole school knew. Grieving classes were available for those who needed and an hour long assembly, three days after the news broke free, was held in the great hall for the students. His parents, girlfriend and close friends gave tear-jerking speeches and a heart drenching video was played in his memory. Many students were given special absences from classes and some first year classes were cancelled. The school mourned for two full weeks and then slowly returned to normal.
Kurt and Blaine both attended his funeral and wake. Kurt cried in Blaine's arms the night the news broke and some nights after. Blaine let slip a tear here and there, but did his best to stay strong for his boyfriend.

“I love you.” Kurt whispered into my chest. I rubbed his head and hugged him tighter.
“I love you too. More than anything.”
Kurt looked up at me, a small tear in his eye. It had almost been a month. Kurt had stopped crying a while ago. Something must be wrong.
“Kurt, what's the matter?” Oh, no, Kurt, please, be okay.
“ What if I lost you? Did you see Jessica at the assembly. She lost her love. I couldn't handle losing you. Not ever.” Kurt wipes his tear away.
“You won't ever lose me. I promise. I'm right here, forever and always.” I hold back, but my voice cracks. I could never loose Kurt either. He is the love of my life. The person I look forward to every day.
“Forever?” He asks leaning in.
I kiss him, full of lust and passion. “Always.”
