Author's Notes: Blaine leaves his phone behind, and Kurt reads one text from Blaine's Dad, and fears for the worst...
"That was at least eleven hours ago, I hope he's okay" he whispered to himself

"What's that Kurt?" Burt said walking out of the kitchen with a burger in his hand

Kurt jumped up from the step snatching the burger from his dad's hand

"Nothing Dad. What have I told you about eating junk food in the morning?"

Kurt had been ever so cautious of his fathers health after his heart attack, he threw the burger into the bin and wiped the mustard sauce of his hands in disgust, and went over to the fridge to get his Dad a nice, crisp, fresh salad from the fridge, and handed it to his Dad as he sat in the kitchen chair

Burt looked at Kurt

"Whats wrong son?" Burt said picking bits out of the salad

"Nothing Dad, just a bad day"

"Okay then" Burt said patting Kurts back

"I had Blaine over last night Dad"

"You didn't…you know, have se-"

"No Dad, we didn't" Kurt said trying not to laugh

"Oh, okay good" Burt replied finishing off his salad

Burt threw the salad bowl in the sink and ran into the living room throwing his work cap on the side getting ready to watch the match that he had been waiting for at least a month.

The bell rang, Kurt jumped up thinking it would be Blaine coming to pick up his phone but as he opened the door, He saw Carole's face in her work uniform

"Hi Carole!" Kurt said with a broken smile as he hugged her

Carole leant back looking at Kurt's face confused

"Kurt are you okay?"

"Yes Im fine, why is everyone asking that!"

"You just look a bi-"

"Yeah? Well Im tired of it" Kurt said tears falling from his ice blue eyes

Carole put down her shopping that she had done after work and hugged Kurt tightly as she took him into the living room to see Burt who had just started to watch the match and Kurt talked to them about what he feared Blaine's parents might be doing to him, abusing him…

Kurt sat there with his head in his hands, how could this get any worse? His boyfriend had just ran home, not speaking to him and if he was being abuse, it was Kurt's fault he remembered when they were both practicing for sectionals Blaine had a really dark painful looking bruise on his face and when Kurt asked how he got it, Blaine tried to avoid answering the question

Carole got up from the sofa leaving Kurt in the comfort of his father as she picked up the house phone

"Do you have his home number?"

"Yeah it should be in my phone" Kurt said tears streaming down his face

Carole went upstairs to Kurt's bedroom to get Kurt's phone.

Kurt sat on the sofa with his head resting on his Dad's shoulder, he knew that not everyone had caring parents like him, but why did someone that didn't have to be the boy he loved? All sorts of things ran through Kurt's mind, he couldn't stand too see the boy he loved in pain. But why would his homophobic parents be abusing him if they didn't know he was gay yet? Or was Blaine lying through is beautiful, straight, white teeth? Kurt leant up fiddling with his designer scarf

"It'll be okay" Burt said munching on some Doritos

Carole finally came back downstairs after what felt like forever, She started dialling Blaine's house number.

"No Carole, stop it, I'll go to his house"

Carole put the phone down after a couple of rings

"Yeah okay, let me go get the car ready" Burt smiled gently

"No Dad, I'll go by myself, I mean how bad could it be?"

But Kurt should have been prepared for the worst..
