When Blaine woke up he couldn't move. He noticed there was no sound outside but it was still dark. He moved his head slowly and looked up to see Kurt. He was still laying under him with a trail of blood leading down the side of his face and he wasn't moving. Blaine realized Kurt was barely breathing too. He turned his head away and saw they were covered by debris. He looked up between some of the boards to see clouds swirling above him. Zaps of lightning flashed above him and he saw mini-twisters forming. Other than that the walls of the cloud were completely smooth. They were in the eye of the storm!

His breathing started to hitch and a weird sensation filled his insides. He tried to move but pain flared in his right shoulder. He stopped moving it and laid his head down on Kurt's chest hearing the thumping of his heart and sighing in relief. He looked up once more and saw a bright flash of blue and darkness overcame him once more.

The next time he woke up again he was laying a plain white room. He looked to his side to see Burt sitting next to him. He wasn't surprised he was there but he was confused as to why Burt would be with him and not Kurt. The worst thought crossed his mind and he feared that Kurt was gone.

“Hey kid,” Burt said. Blaine looked over at him unhappily.

“You okay?” he asked. Blaine shook his head and Burt got up and left. Blaine waited to see if he would come back and when he did a nurse was with him.

“Okay...we're going to give you some pain meds. They're going to knock you out for a while but you need the rest,” the nurse said. Blaine watched her administer the medicine into his IV line and let them take effect and fell asleep.

Blaine opened his eyes slowly and looked around the room. Nobody was in the room with him. He waited to see if somebody would come back in and a few minutes later Carole came in.

“Hi, honey,” she said smiling. She came over and sat in the chair by his bed. She took his hand and he smiled at her.

“How are you feeling?” she asked.

“Okay, I guess,” he said. Wait a minute...that wasn't his voice.

“Good...hmm...you look sick,” she said.

“Can I have a mirror?” he asked. Okay, that was definitely not his voice! She got up and brought over a small mirror and held it out for him to take. He took it and closed his eyes wondering what he'd see. He opened them and saw Kurt staring back at him. No! He was Kurt! So...was Kurt him? Or was Kurt gone? He tried to get up but Carole held him down gently so she didn't hurt him.

“Kurt? Are you okay?” she asked. Blaine put the mirror down and looked at the ceiling. What the hell was going on?!

“Where's K-Blaine?” he asked catching himself.

“He's still out honey...he hasn't woken up yet...” she said. Blaine's stomach dropped. Was he dying?!

“How long has he been out?” God he'd have to get used to such a voice.

“You were out for five days...and then after you got more medication you were out for another. So, almost a week.”

“What's wrong with him?”

“He got hit pretty hard on the head. His shoulder is broken, he has a bad concussion, and a few broken ribs,” she said. Blaine let out the breath he was holding and looked away from Carole. The only thing scaring the hell out of him was the fact that he was Kurt and not himself. What the hell had happened?! This had to be some sick dream and he'd wake up in his body.

“What about me?” he asked.

“You're fine for the most part. You got hit on the head and have a concussion but they've said you'll be okay. Other than that...you're okay. Blaine took the worst of the injuries,” Caroled replied. Just then Burt walked in and looked at him surprised.

“Kurt?”

He nodded and Burt ran over and hugged him. He needed to see...himself...or Kurt...immediately.

“Can I see Blaine?” he asked. Carole looked up at Burt and nodded. Burt walked over to the side of his bed and pulled the curtain back for Blaine. There he laid in a bed with a mask over his face, his chest rising and falling slightly. His right arm was in a sling and a bandage was wrapped around his head. The tears slid down his cheeks before he knew it and Burt left it open a little so he could still see him.

“Are you okay Kurt?” Carole asked. Blaine nodded his head and looked down at his bed. This was getting weirder every second and it was scaring him. Would Kurt wake up in his body? Was this Blaine's second chance at life and Kurt died? He just wanted answers but he wouldn't get any until Kurt, himself, woke up.
