Author's Notes: A little on the outcome of the accident and afterwards. I couldn't write a funeral...I was just at one Friday and I couldn't do it...somewhat a filler chapter but there's still importance.
The group stood by the damaged car somberly. Cooper's eyes held a mix of pain, sadness, and anger. Kurt held onto Blaine's hand tightly.

“I want to know if any of you saw anybody touch this car.”

Nobody spoke and Cooper seemed to grow angrier. Kurt worried about what might happen in the group since they lost Nick.

“Did anybody see anything funny last night? Nick's car was tampered with...somebody had to do it last night at the races,” Blaine said. Nobody said anything and Kurt felt worse. After a few more moments of silence Cooper spoke.

“Everybody go home. Don't come for the next week. We need to get over this and Friday is up in the air. It may not happen,” Cooper said.

“And just so everybody knows...we're not blaming you for this but we will have our eyes on everybody. Help us out with that,” Blaine said. Everybody nodded and they all left. David and Wes took Jeff with them and Kurt turned to see Blaine was crying. Cooper walked away from them and Kurt felt more hopeless than before. When Blaine seemed to calm down some more and he looked at Kurt worried.

“You're not racing until we know who did this.”

“We don't know how long that's going to be! I want to race,” Kurt said.

“I'm not letting you race.”

“You have no right to tell me what to do.”

“Kurt, you saw what happened! I'm not letting that happen to you.”

“So, you'll drive so it can happen to you?” Kurt replied crossing his arms.

“I never leave my car alone. Nobody would dare touch my car. If Cooper found out that anybody touched my car he'd take care of them...” Blaine said. Kurt looked at him worried and bit his lower lip as Blaine moved closer to him.

“You are riding with me until we sort this all out,” Blaine said. Kurt looked down and nodded reluctantly.

“If it would make you happier then okay,” Kurt replied. Blaine smiled at him and kissed him. Kurt wrapped his arms around him and held him close. They spent the day at the garage with Cooper working on the Shelby. Blaine got a few more parts ordered for the car and they finally stopped for the day after a few hours. Blaine took him back to Blaine's house and they spent the day curled up on Blaine's couch watching movies.

“Kurt?”

“Yeah?”

“I know it's only been a few weeks but...I really want you to move in. When we get more comfortable in this relationship I want you to move in. I miss you when you're not here.”

“I miss you two but yes, we still need some time.”

The rest of the day dragged for them. Cooper came home with Chinese for them. They sat in the kitchen eating and talking quietly. Blaine and Cooper left him alone and he finished his food. He waited for them to come back and when they did Blaine led him up to his bedroom. He held onto Blaine as they slept. He was concerned about Blaine but knew he'd be okay eventually.

The week went by pretty fast. They didn't race that week because of what had happened. Kurt and Blaine worked on the Shelby the whole week. Cooper had some other project he was working on. Blaine said a brand new engine was on its way to Ohio for the Shelby. When they were taking a break one day during the second week of working on it he saw Blaine staring at a car in the corner of the garage. He'd never noticed it before but it was impressive. It was a 57 Chevy Bel Air. A simple baby blue color and looked to be in perfect condition.

“Did you restore that?” Kurt asked.

“Sadly, yes.”

“Sadly?”

“My father loves cars. Old, new, sporty, or classic. Well, when I came out he got a piece of junk and had me restore it with him. That was the end result. I loved it until he talked to me after we finished it,” Blaine said.

“What did he say?”

“He said something about getting my hands dirty and feeling like a man. I walked away, called Cooper, and Cooper came home. Cooper talked to our dad and took the car. After that, my dad basically ignored me and stayed away from me...”

“I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked.”

“It's okay. I should be honest with you about my parents...”

“When you're ready,” Kurt replied standing up from his chair. He went over to Blaine and leaned down pressing a kiss to his lips. Kurt smiled down at him as Blaine's arms wrapped around his waist. Kurt squealed as Blaine pulled him down into his lap. He giggled and kissed Blaine once more. Blaine looked at him lovingly and ran a hand through his tussled hair.

“Guys! I want you to come see something,” Cooper said. They looked at each other confused but got up and followed him. He led them down the back and into another room. There was Nick's car repaired and Jeff standing next to it. Kurt stared surprised at the sight. The car looked like nothing had ever happened to it.

“I had to fix it up. It felt right. And Jeff, don't worry, we're going to find out who did it and we're going to take him down,” Cooper said. Jeff nodded and looked down. Blaine left Kurt and went to Jeff. He hugged him and Kurt smiled at the sight. He could see Jeff was crying probably from more than one thing. He walked over to them and hugged Jeff tightly.

“Here's my keys Cooper. Thank you,” Jeff said throwing a set of keys to Cooper. Cooper nodded and Jeff got into the car. They moved away and he drove out the garage door. Kurt stood behind Blaine and wrapped his arms around him and kissed his neck.

“I'm worried...For the first time I'm really worried...” Blaine said.

“It'll be okay.”

End Notes: Thoughts!? :) Thanks for reading!
