“Have fun...and good luck,” Kurt said. Blaine chuckled and left. He drove about twenty minutes before he got to Annabelle's house. He got out and went to her front door. She soon answered the door all ready to go. She had a red sundress on paired with black heels.
“How are you doing today Annabelle?”
“I'm doing fine. How about yourself?”
“Perfect.”
“So where are you taking us?”
“Back to Westerville to a small diner near the city part of town. My mom used to always take me to it when I was younger,” Blaine said. He opened the car door for her and closed it. As he walked around to his side he prayed things would go over well. He got into his car and started it up. The ride was silent except for the radio playing low. Annabelle would sing along to some songs but not very loud. She seemed to love music as much as Kurt and that made him happy.
When they pulled into the lot he got out and opened her door for her. He couldn't help but see Kurt in her. He thought about the time he brought Kurt here for the first time. It was only a month into their relationship and he had brought him here for lunch on a Saturday. He smiled at the memory and held her hand as they walked in.
They were seated and he ordered his coffee to drink. Annabelle got herself a water and they looked at the menus until the woman came back. Blaine got his usual, the fettucine alfredo, and Annabelle decided on the same thing. When they were given their food he asked a really stupid question.
“Why don't you support gay rights?” Blaine asked. Annabelle stopped eating and looked up at him.
“I never thought it was right. It's wrong to love somebody the same sex as you. It's viewed as a sin in the bible and I live by it.”
“So you believe that if you love someone of the same sex you're going to hell?”
“Yes...I do. Why? Do you support same sex couples?” she asked seeming disgusted.
“I never even thought about it. Ohio isn't very accepting so you don't find them around here and I've never invested my time in that stuff.”
“What do you believe though?”
“I believe that love is love and people can love whomever they want to love,” Blaine said.
“Even if it's a sin?”
“Love is love. We can't tell eachother who to love. You fall in love with a person...you can't help it.”
“We don't tell eachother who to love, God does.”
“Please...Annabelle don't lecture me about the bible. I don't mean to be rude or anything of that nature. I just haven't talked about it in about ten years. Things got bad in my life for a while and me and my dad never got along after a while,” Blaine said.
“Why? What happened?”
“When I was 15 I was attacked outside of my school. That was when I started going to Dalton and met Kurt. After that my dad just turned into somebody I didn't know. We started fighting and things got bad. He always pushed religion on me...not that I hated it but he was extreme with it. When I moved to New York with Kurt and Rachel he told me to not come back. So I decided I wouldn't,” Blaine said.
“Why would somebody attack you?”
“I don't...I don't know. It was just me and a friend outside of the school and they jumped us,” he said. She nodded and looked away.
“I'm sorry,” she simply said. Blaine just shook his head and looked away.
“I hope school was better for you than me,” he said.
“I wish it was. I had a really close friend until sophomore year. That was when we fought. High school sucked after that. Then my cousin said she was bisexual and we fought about that.”
“That's not good. She's your cousin though...don't you love her?”
“Of course I do but not if she chooses that lifestyle. I haven't spoken to her since because of it,” she said.
“You should love her no matter what. She's your family. Maybe you don't support it but you should love her,” Blaine said. He knew he was getting no where with her and sighed.
“Does my brother and Rachel support gay rights?”
“Why do you ask me?”
“You're close with them and I never asked Rachel and you brought up the topic,” Annabelle said.
“I know Rachel does support gay rights...I don't know about Kurt. We never talked about it. I would assume maybe he does because he's with Rachel or he just doesn't have a preference,” Blaine said. She just shook her head and looked away.
“Look, I don't want our beliefs to get in the way of us. I don't want that to be the deciding factor on whether we make it or not,” Blaine said reaching over for her hand. She looked up at him and smiled. He really dug his own grave there.
“You think we have a chance?”
“I don't know. You need to take it day by day,” Blaine replied. The rest of their meal was completed in silence. When he paid for the bill they walked down the road.
“I want to know one thing,” Annabelle said.
“What?”
“If we were to be compatible would you go out with me or not because of Kurt?”
“Kurt? I try to not let things get between our friendship and it would be bad if we got together only to break up. He'd be stuck between us. However, knowing Kurt he would still talk to us both,” Blaine said.
“No. I don't think he would. He doesn't know me that well and you two have known eachother for years. He'd put you above me any day,” she replied. She looked down at her watch and turned to him.
“I'm sorry I need to go. I need to go see my Aunt's family. Is it okay if we end our...”
“Date? You can call it a date and it's fine. Come on, let's go,” Blaine said smiling. He drove her back to her house and then went back to his. Kurt would still be home today. He didn't plan on going out at all. Maybe now they'd finally get some uninterrupted time. He opened the door to see Kurt sitting on the couch watching some show.
“How was it?” Kurt asked not turning to look back at him.
“It was good. She had to go to some family thing so I came back here.”
“She told me that you were talking about gay rights and your views on it,” Kurt said. Blaine sighed and sat down by him.
“Why would you say that?” Kurt asked starting to get upset. Blaine took a deep breath knowing this was his fault and accepting whatever came after it.
“Say what?”
“That you don't know whether you support it or not...you should have just said yes! She might have stopped pursuing you,” Kurt said.
“What was I supposed to do? I just said whatever came to my mind at that time and that was it...I don't know why but I did. I wanted to try and change her mind even a little but it wasn't working. She tried using religion to see what I said and then I had to explain some things in life that made her let it go. Then she wanted to know what you supported and I said I didn't know,” Blaine said.
“I told her that I supported gay rights. That I grew up knowing somebody who was gay. She let it go and said okay. So, it got me thinking of stopping this whole charade and letting it go,” Kurt said.
“She told me that she doesn't love her bisexual cousin and hasn't talked to her in years. I think you might want to reconsider that if you want to have any relationship with her. Even if it is for only a few weeks or whatever,” Blaine said. Kurt just nodded and looked away.
“I know. I just...I just hate watching her have you and I can't unless we're home and away from her,” Kurt said.
“This was all your idea and you can do whatever you like,” Blaine said. Blaine took Kurt into his arms and kissed his forehead.
“Just give it time,” Blaine said as Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine's neck. Kurt laid his head on Blaine's shoulder and pressed a tender kiss to the spot where his neck and shoulder met. He held his boyfriend close to him.

Ughh, as I read this I feel like Blaine is straight. It urks (is that even a word) me soo much. But I like the story ! Thought when I read that Annabelle will get more annoying I shuddered. -.-
Thanks for reading and the review! :) Lol....I don't like Annabelle at all with her attitude either and she really is annoying.
This is what I was waiting for. Good delivery, you like to imply things I'm noticing so maybe a bit more like at what point did she text kurt right after the date, on the way home, while she was with her aunt. Her exit was a bit hasty also. Now the christian vs gay views that is what I'm looking forward to so I wont say anything about that until it comes up again.
You liked it! :D Lol...seriously though the help is appreciated and I will work on it and I might edit everything over again before it's complete.
I don't like Annabelle and it seems like one minute Blaine is telling Kurt to tell her the truth because he hates it and the next he is telling Kurt to wait and see how it goes I don't think they should he is leading his bf's sister on and I want to slap her lol he should have said he supported gay rights too
