“What happened?” Kurt asked. Blaine looked over at her questioningly. What could have turned this girl so cold towards their lifestyle and many others? Blaine held Kurt's hand tightly as she started.

“I had a friend. She was my best friend...we had been together since we were five. She started changing when we got into high school,” Annabelle said.

“How so?” Blaine asked.

“She started going out to this club and with another friend...one day me and her were in her room and she said she liked me...and then she...kissed me,” Annabelle said. Her voice started shaking at the end and she started crying lightly.

“Anna...I'm sorry honey...” Blaine said.

“I left her there. I said I didn't like her and she shouldn't have done it...she looked at me like I had three heads! She thought I actually liked her...”

“She shouldn't have but that doesn't mean that we're all like her,” Blaine said.

“I never told anyone until today...I just said that we had a fight and stopped talking,” she said quietly. She had her head in her hands and kept running a hand through her hair.

“I never told anybody about what happened with me either...only Blaine knew, and now you do too,” Kurt said.

“So because she did that you left her alone and started to hate all of the LGBT community?” Blaine asked slowly. He looked over at Kurt who let go of his hand and went over to Annabelle.

“Yes...I didn't want it to happen again...I left her and all of her friends alone. I never went near the gay people or the lesbians or anybody! I started going to church more and learning how they viewed it and they said it was a sin so I went with it...when our cousin came out I pushed her away. It hurt to do that but I just couldn't live with her. I always felt like she knew what happened and she was going to try and get me to go out with her and meet somebody,” she said.

“You're straight though?” Blaine asked.

“Blaine!” Kurt yelled. Blaine shrugged and looked at her.

“Yes I am...I pushed my friend away because I didn't have those feelings and the friendship would be completely awkward after that...”

“Annabelle...what she did to you is nothing we would ever do. We're not like that. Not everybody is like that. She was probably just being stupid and didn't realize what she was doing until it happened. Not everybody is out to get you,” Kurt said.

“Sadly, most people think like that even if it never happened to them. They think we're out there to change them or their kids,” Blaine said. Annabelle looked up at him and sighed. Blaine hated saying those words but it was still the truth. People were still cruel to them and they couldn't do anything about it.

“I really did love you Blaine. You were amazing and one of the sweetest guys I ever met,” she said. Kurt slapped her arm playfully.

“He's mine so back off,” he joked. Blaine smiled and watched her as she wiped the tears away. This went a lot better than he thought it would but there was still going to be a lot to fix.

“So Anna...this is going to sound so stupid but are you mad at...me?” Kurt asked. She stood up slowly and faced him.

“Us. We both did you wrong,” Blaine said standing up and joining Kurt. They laced their fingers together like they natrually did and waited.

“I am. You lied to me for months and let me believe that I could actually have a life with Blaine,” Annabelle said. Kurt slowly nodded to her. Blaine took his hand from Kurt's and put them on his shoulders.

“Why did you do it?” she asked.

“Isn't it obvious? I was told you were homophobic and I put the plan together. Everybody agreed and we went from there...I just wanted to know you before I lost you again. I wanted to know my baby sister. I don't remember you and I just wanted to know you,” Kurt said. Blaine rubbed Kurt's shoulders as he confessed everything.

“We were wrong to do what we did. We never planned for it to get too far out of hand to the point where you and I were supposed to be together...” Blaine said.

“You were definitely in the wrong! Both of you!” Annabelle yelled. Kurt jumped shocked by her sudden outburst.

“I know and if you never want to speak to us again...I understand,” Kurt said. Annabelle was glaring at him but Blaine watched as her eyes softened.

“No,” she said. Kurt shrank back and put his head on Blaine's shoulder.

“I mean...I want to talk to you and get to know the real you...you too Blaine. I just need time...” she said grabbing her purse and going to the door.

“Annabelle...I'd do anything to change the events of these past few months. I would...” Kurt said. She looked back at him and sighed.

“I know but...the problem is you can't. I wish we hadn't met like this and I want to start over but these lies...they were awful. You really hurt me,” she said. Blaine went over to her and put his hands on her arms.

“I'm really sorry and when you're ready to talk we'll be here,” Blaine said. She just nodded and walked out the front door and Blaine slowly closed it behind her and turned to Kurt.
