Author's Notes: Hey guys! Hope you like it! Thanks for reading!!
“Please Rachel?” Kurt asked. They were sitting in his car and waiting to go to his parents house.

“Why Kurt? Why me?”

“You're my best friend. Finn is okay with it and Blaine knows and he's okay with it. We'd be able to pull it off. I need to know who she is. Once things settle down I'll tell her who I'm really with,” Kurt said.

“I know Kurt...I don't know though. Why lie? Just say who you're really with and maybe she'll change her mind. You're her brother. She has to like you,” Rachel said. Kurt sighed and shook his head.

“My Aunt and Uncle have a daughter of their own who was curious and she hasn't spoken to her since she said something and hates her. I need to know my sister before I never do,” Kurt said. He didn't know much but all he had been told was that she did not support gay rights at all. She was an advocate for anti-gay groups and was active in her church that supported anti-gay groups.

“Okay. Fine. I'll do this.”

“Thank you so much Rachel! I'll pay you back. I promise I will,” Kurt said smiling and hugging her across the seat.

“Yes...you will,” she said. She smiled and sat back against the seat in Kurt's car.

“Finn told me that you and I can either be dating or engaged. You can decide that part.”

“Engaged. It might help make it more believable,” Rachel replied to him. Kurt nodded and started the car. They pulled onto the highway and towards Kurt's parents house. Everything was running through his head about his new found sister. He couldn't remember her at all from his childhood but she existed. Something he had longed for, a full sibling, he had gotten. He was happy to have Finn as his brother but there was something about having a sister, a full sister, that just made him excited despite the one thing she despised. He wondered if she resembled their mom like he did or if she was as compassionate as their mom. He knew that second one was a long shot considering how much she hates Kurt's lifestyle before even meeting him.

“How long are we doing this for?” Rachel asked after a few minutes.

“Hopefully no longer than a few months. I just hope it doesn't blow up in my face.”

“Same. I want you to know her but I don't want you to be disappointed if something happens,” Rachel said sympathetically. Kurt just shook his head and pulled onto the road his parent's house was on. He pulled into the driveway and parked his car. Blaine's car was already there and so was Finn's. A new car was parked in the drive way next to Blaine's. He assumed it was his sisters and took a deep breath. He got out of the car and went over to Rachel's door and opened it for her.

“Here we go,” Rachel said as Kurt took her hand. They walked up to the front door that was already open and saw Carole waiting for them.

“Hello you two. She's in the living room Kurt. She's anxious to meet you,” Carole's soft voice said as a smile took over her features. Kurt nodded and took a deep breath and let it out slowly. They walked into the house and right into the living room. A young lady sat on one of the chairs across from Blaine. He looked down at Blaine who looked up at him and smiled. She looked over at him at that point and got up and came over to him. She was a little shorter than him and dressed casually.

“Hi...you must be Kurt?” she said. She had a high pitched voice like him. Her eyes were a dull gray blue and her brown hair was curled loosely.

“Yeah. I am,” he said.

“I'm Annabelle,” she said. He looked at her and saw that she did resemble their mother like he did. He held his arms out to her and she hugged him.

“It's about time we met,” Kurt said smiling. She looked like a nice young lady and he wondered how she could not support gay rights. He let her go and smiled at his dad.

“Annabelle this is Rachel. She's my...fiance,” Kurt said. He realized how hard this was going to be. He looked over at Blaine who was just smiling. Annabelle and Rachel started talking and heading towards the kitchen. He went over to Blaine and Finn.

“Have you guys talked to her at all?” he asked.

“She's really nice Kurt. I don't know why she would hate you two,” Finn said.

“She thinks I recently got out of a bad relationship and has been giving me those looks,” Blaine said.

“Well you can pull off straight better than me any day of the week. I need Rachel for this,” Kurt said. Blaine just shrugged and sighed.

“I don't like it but I guess we can keep it up. I just can't wait to get home tonight and away from here,” Blaine said. Kurt nodded and sighed looking at Blaine.

“I'm sorry...I just...”

“Want to know your sister. I know,” Blaine replied. Kurt got up and went into the kitchen. Rachel and Annabelle were talking amongst themselves while setting the table.

“Blaine? Will you be staying for dinner?” Carole asked Blaine came into the kitchen.

“Not tonight. I have a lot of papers to grade still,” Blaine said.

“Come on Blaine,” Annabelle said. Kurt tried to ignore the way she said it but it bothered him. Blaine sighed and looked at Kurt.

“It's a family night tonight. I don't want to impose. I think it's best I go,” he replied to her.

“You can tell me how you met Kurt and how you're like a part of the family,” she said. Kurt went over to Rachel and looked over Annabelle's back and turned to Blaine.

“Stay,” he said to Blaine hoping he stayed. He didn't want to do this alone. Blaine just sighed and nodded.

“Fine Annabelle. I'll stay,” Blaine said putting his hands up in defeat.

“Thanks!” she said as a bright smile took over her face. They all sat down at the table soon after and started to eat.

“So tell me, how did Blaine become a part of the family?” she asked.

“I was spying on Dalton's glee club because nobody else wanted to go to a private, all guys school. I met Blaine on the staircase and he took me to where The Warblers were performing,” Kurt started.

“It was horrible spying. He wasn't even in uniform. It was a giveaway that he was spying. We had coffee and just got to know eachother. Eventually, he came to Dalton,” Blaine said.

“Why?” she looked at Kurt. Kurt stopped in the middle of taking a drink of his wine and put it down. How the hell did he reply to that? He can't tell her what really happened.

“He convinced me. It was an amazing school and the education was a lot better than McKinley. I would get an education better there,” Kurt said. Blaine looked at him and then down at his plate. Kurt would not let the truth out now.

“He joined us for a few months then went back to McKinley because he missed his old glee club,” Blaine said.

“You were in glee club?” she asked the two of them.

“Yeah. I loved to perform back then and was in a few plays. Now I teach music at the elementary school by Dalton,” Kurt said.

“I did the same as him but my career choice was an English major and a teaching degree. I teach at Dalton now,” Blaine said. She smiled at Blaine and it irked Kurt.

“So Kurt, how did you and Rachel meet?”

“We used to go to school together. Moved to New York City after graduation and I went into NYADA for performing arts. I got into some Broadway plays and we came back here for a while and to meet you,” Rachel said. Annabelle smiled at them.

“How long have you been engaged and when's the big day?”

“It was just about three months ago. He took me out for wonderful dinner in New York City to one of our favorite places. We walked down into Times Squares to those big red steps and he proposed. As for a date we haven't really discussed when yet. Sometime next summer though hopefully,” she said.

“Take your time honey,” Kurt said smiling. Rachel kicked him under the table, her smile not faltering. Kurt was hoping this did not drag out that long. When everybody was done Rachel started to help do dishes and Kurt was going to help her but Annabelle told him to go in the living room so she talk to Rachel. He went in and sat on the couch by Blaine. Blaine sat forward and sighed.

“I hate this,” Blaine said simply.

“I know. I do too,” Kurt said. He heard the girls laughing in the kitchen and smiled.

“It's going better than I thought though. This can't drag on for almost a year though,” Kurt said. Blaine laughed at that and looked at him. Kurt wanted to kiss him so bad but couldn't and it killed him inside.

“Kurt! Come here!” Annabelle yelled from the kitchen. He walked in as Rachel was walking out. He turned to her and smiled.

“Is Blaine single?”

“Excuse me?” he asked.

“Is Blaine single or does he have somebody?”

Kurt's face fell and he just stared at her shocked. She looked at him still and her smile left her face.

“He's...single,” he choked out.

“What's wrong?” she asked.

“Um...he just got out of a relationship. They were together for about two years and he caught her cheating. He's been picking up the pieces for a few months,” Kurt said.

“Do you think he's willing to date somebody?”

“I don't know. I'd just give it time.”

“Would you be okay if I asked him out? I don't want you to feel torn if me and him didn't work out,” she said. Say no, say no, say no.

“I'd be...okay with that. Just, you know...don't hurt him,” Kurt said.

“Thanks Kurt. Wish me luck,” she said smiling and going into the living room.

“Oh, hell no,” he said. He bit his bottom lip and stood there biting back the tears. This was not supposed to be happening! She had just met him! He walked back into the room and went to Rachel.

“Rachel? Can we go?” he whispered. She looked up at him surprised and looked at Annabelle.

“We have a two hour drive back to the house,” Kurt said. Rachel nodded and got up.

“You need to leave already?” Annabelle asked.

“Kurt has to be up early tomorrow. We live in Westerville and it's about two hours to get there from here,” Rachel said. Annabelle nodded and came over to Kurt and hugged him.

“It was nice to meet you Kurt. I hope we can get together more often,” she said.

“Sure. Just give me a call whenever. Blaine can give you my number,” Kurt said. He took Rachel's hand and they left together. When Kurt got to the car he felt a tear go down his cheek.

“What happened?” Rachel asked worried.

“She wants to freaking ask Blaine on a date and asked if Blaine was single and if it was okay. I said it was okay but it's not! I don't know what to do,” Kurt said.

“Blaine will know what to do. You know he won't do something stupid.”

Kurt pulled out his phone and text Blaine the conversation with Annabelle so their story would be the same. Blaine replied soon after and said he'd see him at home. He took Rachel to her house that she shared with Finn and then drove the two hours back to Westerville to wait for Blaine.

I'm going to give you an honest review but let me just start off by saying the idea is fantastic. But your presintation is lacking. I mean the diologue is good a bit confusing in spots but your getting your point across. I just feel like this could be a 10 easily if you gave it more detail. I write the same way you to and I had to learn how to break it so now I write like this^ then as I go for the proof read I ask myself questions. How hurt is kurt when annabelle asks about? Does his throat get tight? Is blaine visable where they are talking; is annabelle looking at him with hungry eyes? Just things like that to work an over emotional scene. Id give you more feed back but alas I'm on mobile and can't get much written with my little keyboard. Ill give similar reviews about the rest of the story.

Thank you! I know I really need to work on my writing sometimes...I always reread and go through it and I do fix the mistakes and I'm doing my best to make sure the story is good...thank you for the criticism. I love it. Lol. :) Thanks for reading though!

I'm sorry if this seems mean, because I adore this story but I think it's all a little...basic. If that makes sense. I adore this story, and the idea. Usually you'd have Blaine being far to scared to come out to his family, and him and Kurt would have to act 'straight' untill Blaine got the guts to come out. I love the twist in how, it's Kurt. Because he doesn't want to lose another family member, he lost his mother and almost lost his father, he can't lose another. It's truly a fantastic idea, and I enjoy reading this story greatly! I just think it could be, developed more? Maybe talk more about thoughts, expressions, etc and just develop the story a tad more so it makes a bit more sense? I'm really, really, sorry if that came out mean or harsh or anything else not nice! I didn't have intentions for that, because this story, I enjoy reading muchly and as I said, I do love it!:-)

I think I know what you mean. I'm still working on my writing overall. I've never done fan fiction and my other story "Home" my friend is editing with me but I'm on my own here. I'm trying to get he detail to be better and sometimes I think I'm trying too hard. It didn't come out mean. As much as I love the reviews that say "this is amazing" I love constructive criticism just as much. :) So thank you for reading, reviewing, and loving! :D

Hiiii I'm backkkk :) to read more of your storys, yayyyy. Ok on with my crazy reviews and 101 questions lol. Kurt and Blaine are out of college and have been together all that time? Blaine went to ny with Kurt but now they both moved back to ohio? Are Kurt and Blaine just together or are they married? I really like this story. OHH and where has his sister been and why didn't Burt have her? Did Kurt barely find out about his sister? Once again Sorryyy :/ But you said you love my reviews and now I shall go crazy with them bahahaha (yeah i'm jk) ;)
